REVOLVING DOOR REVOLVES: Former Biden Official Jen Psaki Given Key Primetime Slot on MSNBC Ahead of 2024 Election.

MSNBC’s cult of far-left viewers will probably be delighted to see former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is joining the network’s lineup on Mondays beginning later this month.

The network announced on Thursday the former mouthpiece for the inept Biden administration will take up the 8 p.m. ET of its programming on Mondays beginning later this month, Variety reported.

Psaki will take one night from MSNBC host Chris Hayes, who has been giving up Mondays to a rotating cast of far-left hosts recently anyway.

At least Nicolle Wallace will no longer be the most abrasive person on the network.

And speaking of the incestuous relation of the DNC-MSM and the Biden White House: White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre ends relationship with CNN anchor Suzanne Malveaux.

COPYCAT JOE: Biden accused of new plagiarism by ex-Harvard journal editor.

Earlier this week, Heritage Foundation Vice President Roger Severino outlined his alleged experience in 2000 when he edited a Biden-penned article on civil rights and was “shocked by the plagiarism” he found.

“Cite checking involves formatting case citations under highly prescribed rules and searching Westlaw to make sure the cases haven’t been overruled or superseded. Because I was interested in the article’s topic (civil rights) I read a bunch of the cited cases all the way through,” he posted. “That’s when I noticed that a certain turn of phrase in an opinion sounded oddly familiar even though it was my [first] time reading it.”

“So I turned back to Biden’s article, and there it was. He had lifted language straight out of a SCOTUS opinion, changed a couple words, and called them his own. There were no quote marks and no footnote or anything else attributing the court as the source,” Severino continued. “I then read the piece through again and multiple other phrases sounded familiar. Turns out they too were plagiarized from opinions. I believe this merited rejecting the article outright for plagiarism so I emailed the lead editor and presented the indisputable proof.”

I was about to joke that Neil Kinnock could not be reached for comment, before remembering that of course, he supported Joe in 2020: Neil Kinnock on Biden’s plagiarism ‘scandal’ and why he deserves to win: ‘Joe’s an honest guy.’

Of course — you have his “word as a Biden!”

DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT HISTORY: Chicago Teachers Union president sends son to private school after labeling school choice supporters ‘fascists.’

Chicago Teachers Union Vice President Stacy Davis Gates was elected president in May 2022. CTU has about 25,000 members. Her Caucus of Rank-and-File Educators received criticism for mishandling the union’s response to the winter surge in COVID-19 cases and for not being transparent about union finances.

If she wants to toss around the fascist label, she should look at her own union. They abused school children throughout the pandemic, insisting that schools remain closed and online schooling continue long past when it was necessary if it ever was. The teacher’s union demanded that teachers be treated as first responders and go to the head of the line for vaccines when they became available. Then they demanded that schools close anyway. Like other large city teacher unions, they demanded increased pay and other benefits during the pandemic. The teachers’ unions are not about the children, they are all about themselves. Chicago Teachers Union goes on strike frequently.

If there’s one thing the Third Reich was known for, it was a plethora of school choice.

KAROL MARKOWICZ: Never forget: It was Randi Weingarten and the Bidens who sacrificed a generation of kids.

It begins on the administration’s first day, when Jill Biden invited Weingarten and Becky Pringle, head of the National Education Association, to the White House, telling them, “I told you I was going to bring you with me to the White House. And on day one, you’re here,” according to a new book by Atlantic staff writer Franklin Foer, “The Last Politician.”

There they were, making sure kids didn’t get to have an education.

Foer is, of course, a partisan Democrat, and the portrayal of the Biden White House is comical in its friendliness.

In retelling the story of Jill meeting with two women, Foer repeats the disgusting canard, “In upper-middle-class neighborhoods . . . there was a sense that the unions were acting in a spirit of selfishness.”

That’s obviously a joke. Upper-middle-class people, in areas unlucky enough to be under teachers unions’ thumb, had every option available to their children.

They could hire a tutor, form a pod, move to their beach house, and send the kids to the open public school there or simply send them to private schools, which were, of course, open.

Gov. Gavin Newsom, for example, did just that, sending his daughter to an open private school while ensuring poor Californians were stuck with Randi’s closed public schools.

The lie that it was the “upper-middle-class” that had wanted school openings is necessary to liberals so they will never have to face the corrosive damage that was inflicted on poor children — mainly black and Hispanic children — all over America because of them.

And teachers unions would love to try it again: Spread of Covid impacting start of classes for some schools across U.S.

TOMMY TUBERVILLE GIVING HILL REPUBLICANS A LESSON IN HOW TO WIN THE BUDGET BATTLE AGAINST THE SWAMP:

Adam Hodge, spokesman for the Biden White House’s National Security Council, issued an angry statement accusing Tuberville of political grand-standing and endangering national security with his hold.

“Tuberville is threatening our national security with his political gamesmanship and risking our military readiness by depriving our armed forces of leadership at a critical time … Senators shouldn’t play politics with our military its readiness or our military families.”

In fact, the guy playing politics was Biden with his decision to defy the Hyde Amendment, the law that protected government neutrality on the most politically divisive issue in America, and the further reality was and remains that Tuberville’s hold doesn’t prevent the Senate from moving forward by holding on-the-record votes on whether to approve specific nominations.

Doing that takes longer, to be sure, but the real problem for Senate leaders is that such votes force every senator to go on record one way or the other on Biden’s woke remodeling of the U.S. military.

To this day and to the continued astonishment of The Swamp, Tuberville is still standing his ground, despite the growing intensity and vindictiveness of his critics, including being accused by the three military branch secretaries of aiding America’s international adversaries.

More like this, please.

BIDEN ADMINISTRATION LIKELY VIOLATED FIRST AMENDMENT WITH SOCIAL-MEDIA CENSORSHIP, APPEALS COURT RULES:

A federal appeals court ruled Friday that the Biden administration likely violated the First Amendment by pressuring social-media platforms to censor posts about Covid-19 and elections.

The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruling says that the White House likely “coerced the platforms to make their moderation decisions by way of intimidating messages and threats of adverse consequences.” The panel of three judges found that the administration “significantly encouraged the platforms’ decisions by commandeering their decision-making processes, both in violation of the First Amendment.”

A lower court previously placed restrictions on the Biden administration’s communications with social-media platforms; those restrictions applied to a number of government agencies, including the Department of Health and Human Services, the State Department, Homeland Security, and the U.S. Census Bureau.

After temporarily blocking the order, the Fifth Circuit judges have now modified the order to apply only to the White House, the surgeon general, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the FBI.

Flashback: Team Biden Doubles Down on Its Soviet Censorship Freak Flag. “Then the Wuhan Chinese Bat Flu came ashore in America. The Dems found it impossible to hide their fondness for totalitarianism. It’s been one headlong rush to the commie cliff ever since.”

DANA LOESCH: New Mexico Governor Suspends the Second Amendment.

The DA was busy dismissing cases right and left and the clueless governor doesn’t understand why crime is on the rise? The new DA isn’t any better: a Grisham hand-picked establishment Democrat who was accused of directing staffers to publish stolen emails that included receipts about underwear purchases from former Susana Martinez.

Blue cities like Albuquerque have a murder problem — and a judicial rot problem. Grisham citing a “public health emergency” is exactly why Second Amendment supporters reject this specious claim by anti-Second Amendment advocates to classify felonious actions and prohibited carry as a “health issue.”

No way this edict survives the guaranteed court battle, especially post Bruen.

The only issue here are Democrats who enable repeat offenders to further brutalize innocent citizens.

RENAMING INDIA WOULD BE INSANE:

India’s rulers are apparently unhappy with the country’s name and appear determined to do away with it altogether. They would prefer it if everyone — not just in India but across the rest of the world — used the name “Bharat” when referring to it. Changing India’s name is political madness, amounting to nothing more than a divisive ploy dreamt up by Hindu nationalists for short-term gain.

Rumors of an imminent name change have been flying after official invites for the G20 summit asked leaders to join the “president of Bharat” for dinner. Officials also used the term in a handbook — called “Bharat, The Mother of Democracy” — issued to foreign delegates heading to the summit. A further clue came when a senior spokesman for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tweeted that the country’s leader, Narendra Modi, was attending a summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Indonesia as the “prime minister of Bharat.”

“Bharat” is a Sanskrit term for India found in ancient Hindu scriptures, written about 2,000 years ago. The word also means “India” in Hindi. Yet the traditional name “India” also has deep roots, tracing its origins to the river Indus, as well as terms commonly used to refer to the subcontinent for many centuries, stretching as far back as the ancient Greeks.

Modi is simply attempting to do a macro level what Bal Thackeray did on a micro level in the 1990s. As Kevin Williamson wrote in his 2019 book, The Smallest Minority:

I lived for a while in Bombay, which we apparently are now supposed to call “Mumbai.” Do you know why we’re supposed to call it that? Because Bombay has long been governed by an actual fascist political party called Shiv Sena, or Shivaji’s Army, Shivaji being the Hindu hero who turned back the Muslim invaders and saved his Hindu kingdom from what right-wing Hindu nationalists describe as Abrahamic pollution. (Yes, they hate the Muslims, but they’re none too keen on Jews and Christians, either.) Shiv Sena in the 1990s was led by a daft newspaper cartoonist named Bal Thackeray, who liked to pose for photographs with tigers and palled around with Michael Jackson. He set about purging not only English but also Hindi names for local institutions and landmarks, insisting on the regional language, Marathi. Hence, “Mumbai.” But if you ask a “Mumbai” taxi driver to take you to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station, he’ll look at you funny, because he still calls it “Victoria Terminus.”

Everyone in the DNC-MSM quickly made the leap to calling the city “Mumbai” though. Hopefully Modi won’t have similar success.

A NEOCONSERVATIVE IS A LIBERAL WHO HAS BEEN MUGGED:

How it started: “We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department.  Say it with me.  Dismantle. The. Minneapolis. Police. Department.”

—Shivanthi Sathanandan, vice chair of the Minnesota Democrat Farm-Labor Party, June 5th, 2020.

How it’s going:  [T]hat all changed on Tuesday. Ms. Sathanandan was carjacked and viciously beaten:

The second vice chairwoman of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party is calling for tougher consequences for criminals after she was beaten and carjacked in front of her young children at her home in Minneapolis on Tuesday.
***
Sathananda was left with a broken leg, deep lacerations on her head, and bruising. She’s now calling for politicians to be tougher on crime.

She is now singing quite a different tune when it comes to crime and law enforcement:
