CHRIS QUEEN: The Not-So-Subtle Left-Leaning Message of the ‘He Gets Us’ Super Bowl Ad. “Lincoln and I have both written about ‘He Gets Us’ and how its commercials often make good points that still miss the mark. The only problem is that the conversation in this year’s Super Bowl ad falls short of the gospel.”

I’M SO OLD, I REMEMBER WHEN BIDEN WAS GOING TO RESTORE TATTERED RELATIONS WITH OUR ALLIES: Senior Biden Admin Official Refused To Meet With Israeli Ambassador During 2021 Hamas Conflict, Internal Emails Show.
Samantha Power, the head of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), was asked to meet with then-Israeli ambassador Gilad Erdan in May 2021, when Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups were attacking Israel with missiles in protest of a court ruling that evicted six Palestinian families from an East Jerusalem neighborhood.
Power declined the meeting, internal government emails show, saying that Israel must first reach a ceasefire with the Palestinian terror groups before being granted a sit-down. The behind-the-scenes diplomatic drama reveals how the United States used back channels to pressure Israel into stopping its siege on Hamas militants—tactics that once again may be in play as the Biden administration pushes Israel into ending its current war on the terror group.
“The Administrator [Power] would like to take the meeting with the Ambassador [Erdan] but wants to hold until there is a ceasefire or resolution to the currently [sic] escalation of the conflict,” a scheduler in Power’s office wrote in a May 18 email to USAID colleagues working in the region, according to a cache of internal documents first obtained by the Center to Advance Security in America (CASA), a government watchdog group.
In recent weeks, the Biden administration has begun to walk back its robust support for Israel’s war against Hamas, with Biden saying on Thursday that the Jewish state’s response to the worst terror attack in its history is “over the top.” The administration has also reportedly considered slowing down arms sales to Israel to pressure the Israeli government into reaching a ceasefire with Hamas.
It’s increasingly clear that the only reason the Biden Cabal hasn’t already put a serious squeeze on Israel was the horrific nature of the Hamas October 7 terror invasion.
But as October 7 fades from public memory, that will change.
KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: If Only We Could Deport Biden and Mayorkas for Their Border Debacle. “The real problem, of course, is that the idiot Dems and their squish Republican pals don’t view the crush at the border as invasion, despite the fact that it clearly is. For most of the last three years, they’ve been pretending that there are no real problems and have repeatedly assured the American people that the southern border is secure.”
BRAVE SIR ROBIN: ‘Antiracist Baby’ Author Kendi Refuses To Debate Matt Walsh After Viral Exchange On Slavery. “Kendi, who gained prominence after George Floyd died in 2020, developed a career pushing Critical Race Theory through books and speaking engagements. In 2021, the MacArthur Foundation announced that Kendi would receive a $625,000 five-year grant for research. Kendi, who says that America is systemically racist, often charges steep fees for speaking engagements.”
JOANNE JACOBS: A reform too far: Sorry, your kid’s only 67% of a ‘whole child.’
Thirty-ish years ago, I was invited to be on a panel at an event discussing a school district’s plans to add “whole-child” and “wellness” criteria to graduation requirements. They wanted graduates to be joyful learners and a bunch of other nice things. I said: “Imagine a student who’s unhappy, unhealthy, hates school — but he aces every class. Imagine denying this student a diploma because he’s not healthy and joyful.” A sort of groan went through the audience. “That’s right,” I said. “You wouldn’t do that. You couldn’t. So, don’t say something is a requirement if it’s not.”
The idea was dropped.
And now it’s back because government is where bad ideas go to achieve immortality.
“ONE CHILD POLICY” IS BECOMING AN ASPIRATION INSTEAD OF A LIMIT: You Won’t Believe What Country Will Overtake China in Population. “Each generation in China will be about half the size of the preceding generation. What that means down the road shocked even me, and I’ve been following this story for years.”

SURPRISING EXACTLY NO ONE: Joe Biden’s Classified Docs Provide More Evidence Hunter’s Pay-To-Play Was A Family Affair.
“How Biden Got So Rich So Fast” should have been a big story almost as soon as he left office in 2017. That the press is so deeply incurious about such obvious corruption is just one reason for the upcoming extinction-level event.

DELIVERY IN 90 MINUTES OR IT’S FREE: US military hopes one day to move supplies, maybe troops, on SpaceX’s Starship.
Elon Musk’s next-generation rocket currently in development at SpaceX’s southeast Texas facilities is gearing up for its third suborbital test flight as soon as this month after its first two ended in explosions last year. It’s part of the company’s long-term plans for a completely reusable spacecraft with more payload capacity into space than any other rocket ever.
Starship’s potential also includes flying quickly from one spot on Earth to another, which is what has the Department of Defense interested. That was discussed during the Space Mobility Conference held by the Space Force at the Orange County Convention Center earlier this month.
“Rocket cargo point-to-point is not the reason we’re building Starship,” said SpaceX senior adviser Gary Henry. “We’re building Starship to get to Mars.” [But] “what we’re finding is it’s a system we’re putting together that has profound impacts for national security, and one of them just happens to be rocket point-to-point.”
Indeed.

A comedy group called Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie had a skit about why you should keep your parents off the Internet. “I want to find out if latex paint bonds to stucco. I guess I’ll search for ‘Latex Bondage.’”
“Uh, you don’t want to do that!”
I just had one of those moments.

RABBI MICHAEL BARCLAY: Has Joe Biden Become Possessed, Or Is He Just High as a Kite? “It is said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and Biden’s pupils were so dilated that his eyes were solid black while he was reinterpreting the words of the special prosecutor. Looking at previous speeches, it seems that all of his “big” speeches have the same image: significantly dilated pupils. Since I don’t actually believe that he is the anti-Christ, I started doing some research about what that could mean. I am not a doctor, but there are enough studies easily available that it isn’t hard to integrate the data with the images of Biden’s eyes when he speaks.”
IS THIS EVEN AMERICA ANY LONGER? There’s apparently just so much bacon Americans care to eat, leaving pork producers scrambling.
Demand for pork in the United States is down 9% from 20 years ago, researchers from Kansas State University estimate, according to The Wall Street Journal. Production, meanwhile, is up 25%. That means producers now have more pork than they can sell, the report says.
The National Pork Board, which provides consumer information and industry research about pork, estimates that annual pork consumption will drop by another 2.2 pounds per capita over the next 10 years if more young people do not start eating the meat.
“We need to make pork relevant with the future consumer,” senior vice president for market growth for the National Pork Board told the Journal.
Bacon is always relevant.

CHANGE: Elon Musk Isn’t the Only Billionaire Fighting Delaware.
Tripadvisor, under media executive Greg Maffei, wants to reincorporate in Nevada, over the objection of minority shareholders. Billionaire Barry Diller is awaiting a ruling that could relax Delaware’s scrutiny of transactions like the 2020 split of some of his online businesses. And Elon Musk, who reincorporated Twitter as X in Nevada last year, has said he would ask shareholders about reincorporating Tesla TSLA 2.12%increase; green up pointing triangle in Texas.
“I recommend incorporating in Nevada or Texas if you prefer shareholders to decide matters,” Musk posted on X on Jan. 30, the day a Delaware court threw out his $55.8 billion Tesla pay package. On Thursday, Neuralink, Musk’s closely held brain-implant company, incorporated in Nevada, state records show.
Delaware, of course, has long held primacy in the world of U.S. corporate law, including the scrutiny devoted to transactions between a public company and any shareholder who effectively controls it. Nevada and Texas are among the states that want a piece of that business and are hoping to appeal to at least some companies by setting up an alternative legal environment.
Companies most commonly register in their home state or Delaware. Still, states are doing more to compete.
Delaware played politics with Musk over a business decision and it will cost them.

BUY PHYSICAL MEDIA: Sony Is Killing Entire Purchased Digital Libraries, Start Buying Physical Media Again. “Funimation, a streaming service specializing in anime, recently announced that digital libraries held by subscribers on its platform would become inaccessible after April 2. The move has left many subscribers wondering about the fate of their digital collections.”
Pretty niche stuff but, still, buy physical media.

Conducted off the coast of the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kauai, Hawaii, the first part of this multi-sensor test successfully demonstrated that the Aegis Weapon System tracked and discriminated a complex target scene of a Medium Range Ballistic Missile target with countermeasures.
The second part of this test included the firing of a Standard Missile – 3 Block IIA (SM-3 Blk IIA), which intercepted the same Medium Range Ballistic Missile target, verifying additional functionality of the SM-3 Blk IIA.
Together, this test demonstrated one of the most complicated target discrimination and intercept missions by the Aegis Weapon System to date.

The far more difficult issue is whether or not this debt is being accumulated responsibly, and will result in a positive return in the future.
This is where JPMorgan boss Dimon gets concerned: in a slowing economy, can the government expect to see an uptick in output to offset the investment?
“Instead of focusing on the level of debt, we should be asking: What is the return on the investment?” Professor Veldkamp added. “If the government is issuing debt to invest in high-return projects, then debt is good. If it is not, then the debt will be tough to pay off because of low future productivity.”

CHRISTIAN TOTO: Is the Left Trying to Re-Cancel Shane Gillis on ‘SNL?’
Is there anything new here? Of course not.
Does Gillis make it a habit of specifically targeting Asian people? Of course not.
Does he spend endless hours in front of a podcast mic squeezing funny observations from every source possible? Of course.
Do those Asian riffs represent his best work? Of course not.
“SNL” knows all of this and still extended an olive branch to Gillis, whose star has risen significantly since the 2019 cancellation.
The NBC News story got picked up, and magnified, by Yahoo! News.
TMZ, left-leaning but hardly as partisan as most mainstream outlets, quickly tried to resurrect Gillis’ old “problematic” routine. The site claims the older material magically “resurfaced,” as if it wasn’t just people AKA TMZ staffers clicking a few buttons on their laptops.
We can hear a series of highly edited clips where Gillis fires off racially-charged gags in all directions.
Howard Stern said far, far worse in his day, and he’s never been canceled.

Them.com, a news site catering to LGBTQ+ readers, attacked Gillis anew for his use of the word “gay” and “f***ot” in a derogatory fashion.
The liberal New York Daily News took a page out of the TMZ playbook, framing its delayed outrage over the “SNL” hosting gig in near-identical fashion.
None of these outlets batted an eye when Jimmy Kimmel, who dressed repeatedly in blackface and sexually mocked First Lady Melania Trump, snagged the Oscar hosting gig for the third time.
Kimmel bent the knee. Gillis hasn’t. It’s as simple as that.
