BIDEN’S DOJ CAVES ON ANTIFA VIOLENCE: There are few details of the settlement terms, but the quotes from both sides make it quite clear that the Left turned the charges against the violent Lafayette Square protestors into an opportunity to aid the thugs.

GOOGLE CENSORS STRIKE AGAIN: The TechnoMetric Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP) accurately predicted the outcome of the past five presidential elections. That kind of accuracy is why Issues & Insights (I&I) partners with TIPP on regular polling of American public opinion.

But according to the censors at Google AdSense, it doesn’t matter how accurate a poll is, what counts is whether the results advance the Left’s agenda, as represented by the Biden administration. Here’s how it came down, according to I&I:

“We reported on the results of our monthly I&I/TIPP Poll, which found that nearly two-thirds of registered voters thought decisions about COVID restrictions were driven by politics, not science. Majorities in just about every demographic, political, and ideological group felt this way.

“Nevertheless, Google’s AdSense network stripped its ads from this article because it contains what Google claims is ‘dangerous or derogatory content’ and that we must ‘fix it’ for Google to restore those ads.”

Sadly, the Google AdSense censors refused to even consider reviewing their decision, much less explaining how in this or any other universe it can be “dangerous or derogatory” to report accurately the results of a survey conducted by a pollster with a sterling record for reliability and precision.

Somewhere John D. Rockefeller and the rest of the Robber Barons are spinning in their graves, absolutely consumed with envy for Google AdSense.

EARMARKS ARE BACK AS CONGRESS FALLS OFF THE WAGON: They banned earmarks a decade ago — thanks largely to “Dr. No” — Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) — but Federal Spending Addiction is in the water in Washington, D.C. and Congress is back at the pork barrel.

IS FAITH POSSIBLE IN A SCIENCE LAB: As a matter of fact, it is, according to Physics Professor John Bloom, who also explains on HillFaith why he decided to get a second PhD in Near Middle Eastern Studies.

YOU SAY YOU WANT FASTER PHARMA: This new DNA Nanotechnology-based approach can speed things up alright, like a million times faster. This from Phys.org is absolutely fascinating.

HOLD ON THERE: Did Trump “Incite” a riot on January 6 or did he “Premeditate” it before January 6? Tristan Justice wants to know. Me, too.

AND SPEAKING OF GREAT ENTERTAINMENT: Come Palm Sunday night, “The Chosen” folks launch a free, live-streamed week-long “Global Watch Party” leading up to Easter. Eight days, 16 episodes, two each evening.

DOLLYWOOD, NOT DISNEYLAND: Rather than giving your time and money to the Woke Loons in Orlando, asks Joy Pullman in The Federalist, why not head over to Tennessee where Dollywood offers so much of what Disney intentionally threw away after Walt left the stage?

“Even setting aside their recently revealed support for destroying human happiness through sexual chaos, Disney’s products push a lifestyle that doesn’t reflect my goals for family life. I don’t want my kids taught to be whiny brats whose biggest lesson to learn is that all authority figures are dumb or evil. That’s a main message of almost every major Disney property, and it’s very bad for kids,” writes Pullman.

AND YOU THOUGHT HE AND HUNTER ONLY HELP CHINA: In what is among the most  thoughtless Biden initiatives, a new Iran deal is near to being signed. Guess who will be cashing in BIG TIME even before the ink is dry – Washington Free Beacon’s Adam Kredo has the list of Russian firms.

MIGHT WANT TO CALL AHEAD: If you are planning to visit your Democratic senator or representative, that is. The Washington Free Beacon found eight senators and a couple of dozen representatives, all Democrats, whose state and district offices are still closed “due to the Pandemic.”

SENATE CAFETERIA WORKERS JOBS LOST AS DEMS PANDEMIC: Barring something unexpected, come tomorrow, at least 80 Senate cafeteria workers will be out of a job, thanks to Washington Democrats insistence on wringing every last drop of Pandemic regulation out of the COVID-19 crisis, according to the Washington Free Beacon’s Joseph Simonson.

The rest of America has returned to a state closely approximating normal, but Capitol Hill, which is controlled by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer still bans the public and all non-credentialed media from entering the premises.

Half or more of congressional staffers rarely show up in their members’ offices to work, preferring instead the comforts of home and telecommuting. The result is much less revenue for the cafeterias in the six big congressional office buildings.

WANT A GUARANTEED ANNUAL INCOME? Just move to Palm Springs, California, where the city council just voted unanimously to create a Universal Basic Income (UBI) program.

Hans Bader points out, however, that there is a catch – you must be either “non-binary” or transgender. But don’t worry, it won’t be long before eligibility begins to be expanded because it’s a government program.

BIDEN JUST GETTING STARTED ON BORDER FLOOD: Leaked document from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) talks about “Broadscale Release Mechanisms” to deal with the expected surge of immigrants expected when Title 42 ends.

HOW CHRISTIANITY COULD HAVE BEEN STILLBORN: What if Jesus’ enemies hid his dead body, so they could roll the rotting corpse down Jerusalem’s Main Street as soon as the disciples began claiming the resurrection? HillFaith Studies looks at why the fact that didn’t happen is immensely important today (and it’s not just so we would have an Easter holiday on the calendar!).

BOMBSHELL? Just the News says Durham investigation has turned up a text message that makes clear Michael Sussman wasn’t leveling with the FBI about his clients when he shared the Steele dossier with the agency.

“The existence of the text message between Sussmann and then-FBI General Counsel James Baker was revealed in a court filing late Monday night by Durham’s team. Prosecutors said they intend to show Sussmann gave a false story to the FBI but then told the truth about working on behalf of the Clinton campaign when he later testified to Congress,” JTN’s John Solomon reports.

TOO CLEVER TREVOR PROJECT: President Joe Biden’s handlers are pushing the trans-gender agenda based in part on a LGBT group’s study that was funded by two makers of drugs used in the transition process, according to The Washington Free Beacon’s Chuck Ross. Didn’t we read somewhere along the way something about conflicts-of-interest and transparency about funders?

THOUGHTS ON LEWIS’ TRILEMMA: Easter is around the corner and that always makes me think of C.S. Lewis’ famous “Lord, Liar or Lunatic” trilemma from his classic apologetical work, “Mere Christianity,” in considering the claims of Jesus. Some Tuesday morning thoughts modestly offered on HillFaith. BTW, if you haven’t read Mere Christianity, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

WORD GAMES AT NIH: A spokesman for the agency admits NIH ‘suppressed’ genetic sequencing information on COVID-19 it got from China’s Wuhan lab, but disputes Empower Oversight’s ‘Deleted’ Label. Up is down. Night is day. Black is white. Nothing to see here, move along.

ROMANTICIZING GEN-Z LIVES: Evita Duffy, writing for The Federalist, sees a glimmer of reason to be hopeful in the TikTok/Instagram movement. Not sure I share Duffy’s optimism, but it’s definitely worth considering.

Here’s how she summarizes it: “In short videos, users show themselves ‘romanticizing’ their everyday lives by creating good habits, enjoying simple things, and recognizing beauty in the world around them. In essence, users are sharing a visual representation of how they are transforming their outlook on life.”

NON-FUNGIBLE CNN: The resounding launch flop of CNN+ may be the most predictable failure in media history.

IRS TARGETS POOREST TAXPAYERS FOR AUDITS: Data obtained by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) shows the federal tax agency is five times more likely to audit the lowest income bracket earners ($25K or less) than those in any of the other brackets. The IRS ignored my request for comment (surprise, surprise).

The guy ultimately in charge of the IRS often complains about billionaires who pay no taxes. Maybe that wouldn’t be the case if Biden told the auditors to pay attention to somebody other than the poorest filers.

HERE’S THE SUPPLY CHAIN WONDER IN HUMAN CELLS: One way of looking at the function of the Kinesin molecular machines is to see them as the Mack semis of the human body’s cellular supply chain. I find this among the most amazing things about the human body. Maybe you will as well.

BIDEN FAR FROM ALONE ON GAFFE FRONT: Jeff Dunetz at The Lid helpfully provides a list of the Chief Executive’s numerous recent gaffes, but then goes the next step and also lays out those of other prominent Lefties across the country.

HERE COMES THE NEW BIDEN DEFENSE: Don’t get too excited about that Washington Post analysis that “confirms key details and offers new documentation” from Hunter Biden’s laptop. Two points are set by two stories published by the Post:

First, it’s not the Big Guy’s fault:

“The Post did not find evidence that Joe Biden personally benefited from or knew details about the transactions with CEFC, which took place after he had left the vice presidency and before he announced his intentions to run for the White House in 2020.

“But the new documents — which include a signed copy of a $1 million legal retainer, emails related to the wire transfers, and $3.8 million in consulting fees that are confirmed in new bank records and agreements signed by Hunter Biden — illustrate the ways in which his family profited from relationships built over Joe Biden’s decades in public service.”

If you are a relative of the Big Guy, you might want to lawyer up because you may be about to find yourself under a bus.

Second, the contents of the laptop are only partially verifiable, according to forensic experts. Conclusion? We still don’t know that some or all of those thousands of unverifiable emails aren’t Russia/Russia/Russia plants. Maybe Hunter’s laptop was a bombshell, maybe not, and if you still insist that it was, that proves you’re just a partisan hack.

“The verifiable emails are a small fraction of 217 gigabytes of data provided to The Post on a portable hard drive by Republican activist Jack Maxey … The vast majority of the data — and most of the nearly 129,000 emails it contained — could not be verified by either of the two security experts who reviewed the data for The Post.”
