CHECKBOOK IN HAND? Donald Trump Jr takes personal trip to Greenland after president-elect floats purchasing country.

Donald Trump Jr. is expected to travel to Greenland Tuesday after his father, President-elect Trump, signaled an interest in U.S. “ownership and control” of the country, Fox News Digital has learned.

A source familiar with Trump Jr.’s plans told Fox News Digital that the president-elect’s son, who is traveling in a personal capacity, is set to arrive in Nuuk, Greenland, midday Tuesday for meetings with locals, to visit cultural sites and more.

“As someone who has traveled to some fascinating places across the globe as an outdoorsman, I’m excited to stop into Greenland for a little bit of fun this week,” Donald Trump Jr. told Fox News Digital.

A source familiar told Fox News Digital that Trump Jr. is “popping in for a quick day-long trip to shoot some fun video content for podcasting.”

Meanwhile, Trump Sr: “Many people in Canada LOVE being the 51st State.”

Maybe we could let Alberta in on a trial basis. Maybe.

BIDEN’S PARTING GIFTS: Joe Biden just released 11 Al Qaeda members from GITMO. “In the most dramatic step in years to reduce the population at the U.S. military prison in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, the Biden administration has transferred 11 Yemeni detainees to Oman, which has agreed to help resettle them and provide security monitoring.”

The drunk-sounding TED talk is real. Only the background was changed.

UNEXPECTED HEADLINES: Botox for burping? Doctors use injections to treat ‘no-burp syndrome.’ “The cricopharyngeus is the main muscle of the upper esophageal sphincter, the top gate of the food pipe. With no burp syndrome, this muscle does not relax, which interferes with the burping process, according to Neil Chheda, MD, associate professor and vice chair in the department of otolaryngology and chief of the division of laryngology at UF Health in Gainesville, Florida.”

I had no idea there are people who can’t burp. Then again, I do have two teenage boys.

Look, the reason is right there on the label: they’re epic.

PROGRESS: Three Next-Gen U.S. B-21 Raider Strategic Stealth Bombers Active in Test Campaign.

Currently, the first B-21 Raider, known as T-1, is undergoing flight testing at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB). These tests are essential for evaluating the bomber’s aerodynamic performance, stealth capabilities, and advanced avionics systems in real-world conditions. Meanwhile, two additional B-21 aircraft are engaged in ground-based testing, including structural integrity tests and systems integration tests to ensure the compatibility and functionality of the onboard technologies and weapons delivery capabilities.

Looking ahead, the program is set to accelerate as three more B-21 Raiders are scheduled to join the flight test campaign in the near future. These additional aircraft will enable simultaneous testing across multiple domains, helping to validate the bomber’s performance under diverse operational scenarios. This expansion reflects a methodical approach to addressing technical challenges while maintaining a schedule that aligns with the Air Force’s modernization objectives.

As the testing campaign continues, the program remains a focal point for the defense community, given its potential to redefine aerial warfare. The successful integration of new technologies into the B-21 will not only shape U.S. Air Force capabilities but also serve as a benchmark for future military aviation programs.

Aside from a few COVID-related delays and Bidenflation budgetary issues faced by every program, the Raider so far has been a rare procurement win.

THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN’: Apple CEO Tim Cook Donates $1 Million To Trump Inauguration. “Some will point out that Cook is not a Republican, and in fact donates to Democrats. Yes, that’s the point. Big executives used to routinely donate money to a President’s inauguration to curry favor. That Cook, the CEO of one of the largest corporations in the world, one with a granola-crunching lefty reputation to boot, would donate to Orange Cheeto Hitler, is a sign that the fear of being dragged by social justice warriors for daring to deal with Trump is finally dissipating.”

UPDATE (From Ed): Embattled Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau resigns.

Embattled Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Monday he is resigning after nearly a decade in office following mounting calls for him to step down.

The 53-year-old said he plans to stay on in his post until his ruling lefty Liberal Party chooses a replacement.

The move comes after an embattled Trudeau was hit with a barrage of calls to quit in recent weeks in the wake of a slew of alarming polls indicating dwindling support.

CNN adds, “The move would leave the Liberal Party without a permanent leader before the general election, where polls show it is set to badly lose to the opposition Conservative Party, led by the firebrand Pierre Poilievre. The election must be held on or before October 20, but could be brought forward.”

CHANGE: The end of an era: Russia loses its gas grip on Europe.

Claims that Asia could replace Europe as Russia’s primary gas market ignore several crucial realities. The Asian market remains a distinctly inferior alternative, even as a stopgap measure. Several factors make this evident:

  • Logistics heavily favor Europe – most existing infrastructure points westward, making European delivery both cheaper and faster than Asian alternatives.
  • European market dynamics historically yielded higher prices, as competition and environmental regulations made Russian imports particularly attractive.
  • Russia’s self-inflicted reputation damage through political manipulation and warfare has severely limited its negotiating position for long-term contracts in both Europe and Asia.
  • Asia enjoys abundant alternatives with shorter supply routes – China, the prime potential customer for Russian gas, has diverse options from Qatar to Turkmenistan, Iran to Southeast Asia and Africa.
  • Heckuva job, Vlad, losing gas revenue Moscow had enjoyed even during some of the tensest years of the Cold War.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: It’s a Shame Trump Can’t Deport Liz Cheney. “Despite their resounding defeat last November, Democrats still fail to grasp that the public is no longer in the market for their false narratives. Nobody outside of The New York Times Opinion section and the Biden White House thinks that Liz Cheney is a principled person. She’s a vile backstabber who only looks out for Liz Cheney. Republican voters in a state that has almost no Democrats sent her to a shameful primary defeat that the Dems have tried to spin as proof that she’s a — drumroll please — respected Republican.”

To be fair, Wyoming voters basically deported her from the state.
