MORE NUKES IS GOOD NUKES: The Secret Ingredient to AI Dominance? Nuclear Power.

There are many reasons for this increase in demand, but a primary driver is the recent AI boom, which has resulted in surging demand for reliable electricity, primarily due to the rapid deployment of data centers and the need for more advanced computational power, which consumes significant amounts of energy. In the United States, data center demand is expected to account for an estimated twelve percent of total power consumption by 2030 (a three-times increase from current levels). And by now, we’ve all heard the anecdote: an AI search takes ten times the amount of energy as a normal internet search. Pandora’s box has been opened, and the global population is demanding more energy, not less.

The Trump administration (through recent executive orders and new partnerships such as “Stargate”) has made its intentions clear — the United States will lead the world in the AI revolution. It is a matter of national security. The only thing holding the country back is “speed to power.” So, there’s only one thing to do — time to start building.

There are over sixty planned and considered projects for advanced nuclear reactors across North America. At a handful of sites, construction has already begun, and concrete is being poured. And the more we build, the more we learn. We’ll continue to bolster supply chains and the workforce pipeline. We’ll continue to move down the cost curve. Believe it or not, the United States has successfully scaled nuclear before, and we’re about to do it again.

Faster, please.

VIDEO: Hegseth Slams Lying Media. “And then the instinct the instinct of CNN, the instinct of the New York Times, is to try to find a way to spin it for their own political reasons to try to hurt President Trump or our country. They don’t care what the troops think, they don’t care what the world thinks, they want to spin it to try to make him look bad, based on a leak.”

NEWS YOU CAN USE: USPS just issued a warning to customers of new ‘brushing’ scam — urges Americans to start treating personal info ‘like cash.’ Here’s what you need to know now.

If a mystery package shows up on your doorstep, don’t assume it’s a lucky break. It could mean your personal information has been exposed.

The U.S. Postal Service is warning Americans about a fast-growing scheme known as a “brushing” scam. It may look like a harmless delivery, like a keychain, some socks, a random kitchen gadget, but it’s often a red flag that cybercriminals have gotten hold of your name and address.

Worse, experts say these schemes can be just the beginning of a broader attempt to exploit your identity or financial accounts.

DECOUPLING, YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG: Chinese military-tied company appears to be choosing new hires at Ford battery plant company.

Chinese company appears to be in charge of hiring workers for Ford’s new battery plant in Michigan, contradicting the company’s statements that it will be an American-owned and operated project, and amplifying concerns from locals about potential national security implications.

The plant has generated significant controversy because of Ford’s partnership with China-based Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited, known as CATL, which closely collaborates with the Chinese military and government. The U.S. Defense Department earlier this year marked CATL as a Chinese Military Company to warn American firms about the risks of doing business.

Despite the security concerns about its partner, Ford has promised that the battery manufacturing facility, which the company says will help it develop a reliable U.S.-based supply of electric vehicle batteries in Marshall, Michigan, would be completely owned and operated by the American firm. The only contribution from CATL, the company has said, will be Ford’s licensing of its proprietary battery technology.

At the same time, online job listings on multiple recruiting platforms show that CATL’s American subsidiary—Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky (CATK)—has posted job listings for roles at the factory, seemingly contradicting Ford’s assurances and revealing a far more active role in management by the Chinese company.

Exit quote: “The Ford plant has drawn scrutiny from Republicans in the Michigan legislature who are concerned that the state government failed to properly vet the project and Ford’s partners in the endeavor.”

Who got paid off?

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: Dem Reactions to SCOTUS Kneecapping Activist Judges Are Delicious. “SCOTUS decided that liberal lunatic lower court judges can’t just throw their commie whims into the machinery of real justice because ORANGE MAN BAD, thwarting the Democrats’ pathetic tantrum-based way of doing things, at least for the moment.”

SAY ANYTHING:

HMM: Where’s Tulsi Gabbard? Intelligence director missing from key moments as insiders call her ‘wrong on the big stuff.’

President Trump’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities were the result of 15 years of intel work, the Pentagon said Thursday — but Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard curiously was missing from key moments before and after the raid.

The ex-Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii — an outspoken opponent of US military intervention in the Middle East — now faces the perception that she’s being shunted to the side by the commander-in-chief, with CIA Director John Ratcliffe, who previously held her job, taking on a larger profile.

Gabbard, 44, was missing from an intelligence briefing with Congress on Thursday, where Ratcliffe gave lawmakers classified details of the Saturday strike.

She also was excluded from a June 8 national security pow-wow at Camp David, where Trump began to shape his plans for Iran with Ratcliffe and other key leaders, such as Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Two days after that meeting — to which administration officials told Fox News Gabbard was not invited — she released what one person close to the administration described as a “fear-mongering” video on the dangers of nuclear war, in what was seen as a swipe against a preemptive strike.

It was a very strange thing for a DNI to do.

IT ISN’T DEMOCRACY WHEN THE PEOPLE CHOOSE THE WRONG SIDE:

IRAN: Iran crackdown deepens with speedy executions and arrests.

Three Iranian men were executed this week on alleged charges of collaborating with Israel, according to the Islamic Republic judiciary, bringing the total number of people put to death on similar charges during the 12-day war between Iran and Israel to six.

The hangings were part of the “season of traitor-killing,” according to Iran’s ISNA News Agency, as Iranian authorities pushed the executions through less than 48 hours after the ceasefire between Iran and Israel was announced on Monday.

Iran’s judiciary said the men were convicted of espionage on behalf of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency. However, human rights activists claim the men were Kurdish day-laborers with no access to classified information and were denied fair trials.

Tehran can’t stop stealth bombers or Donald Trump so they lash out at whatever they can.

FLORIDA MAN FRIDAY [VIP]: Nude, Drunk, and Covered in Mud Is No Way to Go Through Life. “It’s time for your much-needed break from the serious news, and this week, we’ll learn when not to pull a pistol out of your crotch, why you shouldn’t do what the drugs tells you, and how British Woman outdid Florida Everybody in the Getting Caught Stupidly category.”

NIFTY: U.S.’s New Viper Drone-Missile from Mach Industries Combines the Range of HIMARS with the Punch of a Hellfire. “Developed by the California-based firm Mach Industries, the Viper is described as a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) cruise missile that blurs the line between drone and loitering munition. With a maximum range of 290 kilometers, a 10-kilogram warhead, and an airframe built for high subsonic flight, the system is tailored for use with HIMARS or similar mobile platforms but without the logistical burden or strategic risks of larger, more expensive missile systems. Its navigation is based on artificial intelligence and multi-frequency RF guidance, allowing the Viper to operate even in GPS-denied zones. At under $100,000 per unit, it stands out as a scalable, attritable precision weapon that can be mass-produced for tactical-level missions.”

Very nice, but it’s in the sub-$1,000 drone space where we’re behind.

THE EV BUBBLE CONTINUES TO DEFLATE: Mercedes-AMG to Drop Four-Cylinder for Inline-Sixes and V-8s. “Mercedes-AMG is transitioning away from the four-cylinder plug-in hybrid powertrain and back towards the inline-six and V-8 powertrains more traditionally associated with the brand. That isn’t to say that AMG had a change of heart concerning the merits of the four-cylinder powertrain, but rather that the automaker is responding to customer criticisms. ‘Technically, the four-cylinder is one of the most advanced drivetrains available in a production car. It’s also right up there on performance. But despite this, it failed to resonate with our traditional customers. We’ve recognized that,’ a source at Mercedes told Autocar.”

The people have spoken.

HMM: Gun Rights Orgs Ask Attorney General Bondi to Scrap Her Plan to Merge ATF and DEA. “In the letter, signed by CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, the groups urge Bondi ‘to consider abandoning this proposal and continue to operate ATF as a standalone agency of narrow purpose and limited resource, until such time as all unconstitutional federal gun laws are repealed and the ATF can be abolished.'”

UNEXPECTED HEADLINES: Harris County Jails Kill 2.5 Times As Many People As Texas Executes.

Texas has a reputation as the state most willing to implement the death penalty. Yet, thus far in 2025, with the year almost half over, only four people have been executed in Texas.

The death penalty remains controversial, because few prospects are more horrible than having the state take you life. (In communist countries, they’ve done it by the tens of millions.) That’s why our judicial system has an extensive series of checks and balances, derived not only from the Constitution but extending further back into English common law.

But what if I told you that Democrat-run Harris County has let ten people die in their jails this year?
