JUST TELL THEM IT’S A “FEMALE PENIS” AND THEY’LL BACK OFF: Suspicious Package: Airport security sucks for everyone. But for well-endowed men, it’s a whole different animal.

I’m not saying I have the biggest dick in the world. But we’re all biological outliers at the end of the day, and we all have at least one thing in common: TSA is constantly patting down our junk. It’s like they think we have a gun down there, or something. . . .

At first, I didn’t even totally comprehend that it was my penis that kept flaring up the security system. I thought I might just be outrageously unlucky. It wasn’t until one time when I caught a glimpse of the screen that the agents use to determine which part of a passenger’s body looks suspicious. Sure enough, a yellow square was painted right over my dick and balls, as if I was transporting an explosive in my nether regions.

I don’t envy the agents who are forced to do the patdown.

So I got a groin patdown a couple of years ago, and out of nowhere, with no thought on my part, I blurted out: “I identify as a woman so I’ll need a female agent to do that.” The look on the guy’s face was priceless, but I told him I was just joking, and he took it pretty well. I told him he’d better know what to do when someone said it for real. If I’d thought about it, I wouldn’t have, but it just popped out.

DAVID BROOKS HAS A MOMENT OF SELF-REVELATION: Anti-Trump NYT writer shocks with column bashing ‘elite’ as self-dealing jerks: ‘We’re the bad guys.’

Anti-Trump New York Times columnist David Brooks shocked political commentators on Twitter when he admitted he and the so-called “elite” have used self-serving tactics to maintain power and a sense of moral superiority over the Trump supporters they detest.

“I ask you to try on a vantage point in which we anti-Trumpers are not the eternal good guys. In fact, we’re the bad guys,” Brooks wrote in a column Wednesday.

“Over the last decades we’ve taken over whole professions and locked everybody else out,” Brooks wrote of the liberal elite in America. The column detailed how the “educated class” imagine themselves as the “forces of progress and enlightenment” to appease their own egos, as part of a broader tale that paints them as enlightened and Trump supporters as bigots and fools.

Brooks pointed out that in the media world that was once a working-class profession, Ivy League and other elite-level college graduates have come to dominate major newsrooms.

“When I began my journalism career in Chicago in the 1980s, there were still some old crusty working-class guys around the newsroom. Now we’re not only a college-dominated profession, we’re an elite-college-dominated profession,” he wrote.

Brooks wrote that members of the liberal elite “also segregate ourselves into a few booming metro areas: San Francisco, D.C., Austin and so on.”

Thanks to a half century of leftism run amok, San Francisco isn’t exactly booming these days David — who just accidentally stumbled into Mitchell & Webb’s “are we the baddies?” meme.

DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT HISTORY: Al Sharpton tries to use Thomas Jefferson, James Madison to slam Trump — but he gets mocked into oblivion over clear problem.

Al Sharpton wants you to imagine if Thomas Jefferson or James Madison, two of the founding fathers, had overthrown a government.

Reacting to former President Donald Trump’s third criminal indictment on MSNBC, Sharpton on Wednesday tried to provide meta-perspective about the significance of what is happening.

“This is just as low as it gets. I’ve never heard of three cases on one individual in three jurisdictions, so this is serious,” he said

“But on the other side of it: One day, our children’s children will read American history, and can you imagine our reading that James Madison or Thomas Jefferson tried to overthrow the government so they could stay in power?” he continued. “This is narcissism with steroids, and to think that he could get this whole country divided and split, and commit these crimes and have others commit crimes off his own self-aggrandizement, is as sick as it gets.”

Sharpton’s comments invited a wave of mockery because, after all, literally every American can imagine Jefferson and Madison overthrowing a government because that’s exactly what they did.

I’m not sure if Al Sharpton is who NBC wants to have discussing riots and protests:

NOW THEY’VE GONE TOO FAR: California Law Threatens to Help Drive Up Bacon Prices.

Wholesale prices for pork belly—the cut of meat used to make bacon—have surged this summer, nearly tripling since the start of June after hitting a multiyear low in May. Pork-belly prices were at $2.15 a pound on Wednesday, just shy of their highest level since last August. The run-up could soon pressure restaurants and supermarkets that had been stepping up bacon promotions.

“They’re probably thinking twice about featuring a new bacon cheeseburger, bacon chicken sandwich or Baconator, or whatever,” said Brian Earnest, lead economist for animal protein with agricultural lender CoBank.

Helping drive the price surge is an animal-welfare law in California requiring pigs to be given at least 24 square feet of pen space for their meat to be sold in the state, which accounts for roughly 15% of U.S. pork consumption. After facing years of legal challenges, Proposition 12 was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in May and went into effect July 1.

But there’s some potential good news: “How bacon prices change in coming months as a result of Prop 12 is still to be determined. Most of the pork produced in the U.S. isn’t currently compliant with the law, and some suppliers might opt to stop selling in California rather than change their practices. That could drive up retail prices in the state, while pushing them down in the rest of the country where supply would increase, analysts say.”

Good. Let Californians pay for their own laws.

DON SURBER: The Failure of Liberalism.

The Hill reported, “High school boys are trending conservative.”

It cited data compiled by the University of Michigan, so make of it that report what you will. But the shift makes sense because liberalism has failed boys miserably. For the past 50 years, girls have gotten the edge in education because Title IX federal funding demands it — even though such discrimination violates the 14th Amendment’s protection against such bias.

We hear complaints about equality from women all the time, but it is men who suffer actual discrimination. Men are 9 times as likely to be sent to prison than women are.

No one ever talks about that as evidence of societal unfairness.

IS THERE ANYTHING THEY CAN’T DO? For better skin, try lifting weights. “People’s skin grew ‘more youthful at a cellular level’ after they began exercising, said Satoshi Fujita, an exercise scientist at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan, who oversaw the new study. The most pronounced effects occurred when people lifted weights.”

For better results, try lifting heavier than the 1kg mini dumbbells in the picture.

BAD RAISINS IN GOOD PUDDING: “Bad emotions, bad parents, and bad feedback have more impact than good ones, and bad information is processed more thoroughly than good.”

FORMER CAPITOL HILL CHIEF ‘A LITTLE P—-D OFF: If you doubt that somebody (not spelled T-R-U-M-P) intended the J6 riot to happen, read this from the National Pulse regarding Tucker Carlson’s interview of former Capitol Hill Policy Chief Steven Sund.

Fox fired Carlson before he could air the interview and it was never aired afterwards. Which raises some interesting questions about what else Fox has declined to air on J6. It will all come out sooner or later.
