BUT LIKE THE SONG SAYS, PEOPLE GOTTA HAVE SOMETHING TO DO: Elon Musk: ‘There will come a point where no job is needed. AI will be able to do everything.’

The next line, from The Town That Booze Built, is “Around here that means gettin’ stewed.” Will that be humanity’s fate? That’s how things are on Indian reservations, and other places where there’s not much work.

Sorry, that Nebraska Guitar Militia song isn’t online. But there’s this one, on a similar alcohol theme. . . .

LEFTIST HATE PRODUCES MORE STOCHASTIC TERRORISM: ‘Terrorist’ woman allegedly plowed car into what she thought was Jewish school: cops. “Ruba Almaghtheh, 34, allegedly backed her vehicle into a building associated with Black Hebrew Israelites in Indianapolis late Friday while several adults and children were inside, Fox 59 reported. The driver copped to targeting the building, which houses the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge, because she was allegedly offended by a ‘Hebrew Israelite’ symbol out front, according to a police report. ‘Yes. I did it on purpose,’ Almaghtheh allegedly said in the wake of her arrest. She repeatedly described the building as the ‘Israel school,’ cops said, adding that the driver also made a reference to ‘her people back in Palestine.'”

LOL, this is a failure on many levels, since the Black Hebrew Israelites are neither Hebrew nor Israelite.

WELL, THEY CAN’T HAVE IT: New Jersey Wants Your Baby’s Blood. “Pretty much every state does blood testing for newborns to screen for genetic disorders, but as far as I can tell, only New Jersey keeps it around for whatever they damn well please, be it criminal, commercial, or secret clone armies.”

TALES FROM THE GRAUNIAD: I’m a Jew at ‘The Guardian.’ I Don’t Feel Safe at Work.

I see a colleague who had posted about “decolonization” all over social media over the weekend. They’re laughing with the rest of their team. They’re having a great day. I used to love their podcast, full of hot takes and celeb gossip. Now they’ve evolved into an expert on the Middle East. It doesn’t look like their family is in the middle of it, though.

No one else at work speaks to me about it. I nod my way through conversations about fonts and I stumble home.

I go back the next day. I look at the front page. A photo of Gaza and “violence escalates.” Israelis “dead” but Palestinians “killed.” If they can’t empathize with the Jews now, they never will.

I email the editors. I tell them that my newspaper’s coverage has been upsetting. They tell me that their thoughts are with my family but they stand by the paper’s reporting.

I hear colleagues complaining about the newspaper’s “American readers. They’re always accusing us of antisemitism.” They’re laughing.

Not anti-war but pro-Hamas.

AND THIS IS WHY I CAN’T STAND GLENN GREENWALD: I know some folks have been pleased that Greenwald’s hatred for the American political establishment leads him to sometimes deviate from the left’s party line, but I’ve long noticed that he tends to make broad, provocative claims unsupported by the evidence. Today brings a good example: Putting aside that “Josh” isn’t calling for “extinguishing all life in Gaza,” Josh is some rando on X with 60 followers. Glenn cites this to support the claim that not just “Josh” but people at all pro-Israel rallies are calling for killing everyone in Gaza. But he doesn’t cite even one example from an actual pro-Israel rally, just one tweet from Rando Josh. This is typical.

BREAKING: Nashville Transgender Shooter’s Manifesto Leaked, Huge Revelations on Motive. “On one page, Hale used an anti-white slur, writing about her desire to ‘kill all you little crackers.’ In another instance, she complained about those at the school having ‘white privlages.'”

The left needs to be held responsible for its endless racist hate speech that is promoting stochastic terrorism.

Plus: “At this point, the question should be asked why this has been kept hidden from the public. It is very common when dealing with ‘right-wing’ shooters for their manifestos to be described in detail or even released in short order. In this case, the manifesto has been kept under lock and key, with no indication of when the public might receive answers. That has obviously led to much suspicion, some of which has now been confirmed.”

Related: What the Manifesto Leak Says About the Regime.

First, of course, the Regime will allow minority groups like Muslims and transgenders to openly demonize their enemies, calling for their eradication and spreading absurd claims about the “genocide” being inflicted on them. Both Muslims and transgenders are constantly crying about imaginary “genocides.”

This rhetoric justifies all violence, because if someone is committing “genocide” against you, obviously you have the right to oppose that genocide with any violence within your means — even slaughtering children, as both the transgender child killer and the Hamas child killers did.

The Regime allows this kind of incendiary, eliminationist rhetoric from its Client Groups, but ruthlessly deplatforms and debanks anyone who merely criticizes its Client Groups.

And The Regime considers it “too dangerous” for its Client Groups for the public to even read what members of its Client Groups write in their Murder Manifestos.

Yeah, pretty much.

THAT’S QUITE THE EXCLUSIVE YOU HAVE THERE, REUTERS: Exclusive: Russia’s Putin to stay in power past 2024, sources say. “The sources, who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of Kremlin politics, said that news of Putin’s decision had trickled down and that advisers were now preparing for the campaign and a Putin election.”

THE DISINFORMATION IS COMING FROM INSIDE THE (WHITE) HOUSE:

Shoe prices went up, so LBJ slapped export controls on hides to increase the supply of leather. Reports that color television sets would sell at high prices came across the wire. Johnson told me to ask RCA’s David Sarnoff [RCA was then a major TV manufacturer] to hold them down. Domestic lamb prices rose. LBJ directed [Defense Secretary Robert] McNamara to buy cheaper lamb from New Zealand for the troops in Vietnam. … When egg prices rose in the spring of 1966 and Agriculture Secretary Orville Freeman told him that not much could be done, Johnson had the Surgeon General issue alerts as to the hazards of cholesterol in eggs.

Apparently nothing’s changed.

TRY BUILDING NUKES, INSTEAD: Offshore wind project cancellations jeopardize Biden’s clean energy goals. “The Danish wind energy developer Ørsted said this week it’s scrapping its Ocean Wind I and II projects off southern New Jersey due to problems with supply chains, higher interest rates and a failure to obtain the amount of tax credits the company wanted. Together, the projects were supposed to deliver over 2.2 gigawatts of power.”
