WELL, WHEN YOU PUT IT LIKE THAT…:

From the replies: “Women are told to feel safe, yet when they set boundaries, they’re harassed and attacked.”

MUSK: DOGE Will Cut $1 TRILLION in Spending ‘Unless We’re Stopped.’ “In the last seven-plus weeks, DOGE has exceeded its seemingly impossible goal, though only barely. This is maybe the best news you’ll read all week, even though the legacy dinosaur media insists that it’s all doom and gloom and starving uneducated children who can no longer get their nads hacked off at taxpayer expense.”

IT ALWAYS COMES DOWN TO THE MONEY, HONEY:

From the replies: “With only $14.8 Billion in endowments, they could pay someone to start a GoFundme page?”

Heh.

Why should Columbia spend their money when they can spend yours?

HMM: Google to retain AI investments amid antitrust case revision in US.

The initial proposed final judgment (IPFJ) filed in November 2024, which could have forced Google to divest its AI interests, has been modified to avoid potential unintended consequences in the AI sector.

In a court filing, the Justice Department has dropped its earlier demand for Google to sell off its stakes in AI companies, which was aimed at bolstering competition in online search.

Instead, the company will now need to notify antitrust enforcers prior to any further AI investments, allowing for a review of such transactions.

However, the department’ remainder proposed remedy including a forced sale of the Chrome web browser remains largely unchanged.

The revised proposal comes after a federal judge ruled that Google had illegally monopolised online search and search advertising markets.

LINCOLN BROWN: Gov. Cox and Free Speech. “Despite pressure and a warning shot across the bow from the ACLU, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said on Friday that he would not veto Utah House Bill 77. The bill, which passed on Friday, bans public buildings and classrooms from displaying Pride flags.”

LEGACY DINOSAUR MEDIA UPDATE:

DISAPPOINTING BUT NOT SHOCKING: House Republican support grows for keeping clean energy tax breaks.

In a letter shared exclusively with POLITICO, 21 House Republicans — whose districts have drawn billions in new investments because of the Inflation Reduction Act incentives — said developing clean energy was critical for the U.S. to meet President Donald Trump’s goal of becoming “energy dominant.” And they threatened to resist their colleagues’ efforts to gut the law to help pay for a small fraction of the GOP’s multi-trillion-dollar tax-cut package.

“We have 20-plus members saying, ‘Don’t just think you can repeal these things and have our support,’” said Rep. Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.), who organized the letter.

The growing pushback against eliminating the IRA’s hundreds of billions of dollars in tax credits and other incentives — which have largely benefited GOP-controlled districts — will complicate efforts by House Republicans to slash federal outlays without shrinking Medicaid spending as they seek to offset the tax cuts in their budget bill.

The acronym RINO didn’t invent itself, you know.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: Well, It’s Been Fun — Trump’s Commie Labor Pick Confirmed. “That’s where everything gets weird for me. President Trump has been very clear about his desire to dismantle the Department of Education, yet he’s now got teachers’ union fave in his cabinet. That seems like a whole lot of cross-purposes there.”

CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN: Homeland Security overhauls its asylum phone app. Now it’s for ‘self-deportation.’

The Trump administration has unveiled an overhauled cellphone app once used to let migrants apply for asylum, turning it into a system that allows people living illegally in the U.S. to say they want to leave the country voluntarily.

The renamed app, announced Monday and now called CBP Home, is part of the administration’s campaign to encourage “self-deportations, ” touted as an easy and cost-effective way to nudge along President Donald Trump’s push to deport millions of immigrants without legal status.

“The app provides illegal aliens in the United States with a straightforward way to declare their intent to voluntarily depart, offering them the chance to leave before facing harsher consequences,” Pete Flores, the acting commissioner for U.S Customs and Border Protection, said in a statement.

Moments after Trump took office, the earlier version of the app, CBP One, stopped allowing migrants to apply for asylum, and tens of thousands of border appointments were canceled.

Left unmentioned by the AP report: CBP One was created by the Biden administration as a way of facilitating illegals.

BIG MONEY: Trans Ideology Could Cost Blue State Schools $10 Billion.

How much is at risk?

In 2024 Maine was awarded $276 million funded by tax dollars through the U.S. Department of Education. Minnesota was granted over $937 million, and California risks losing over $8 billion in federal education funding. In addition, these three states received nearly $1 billion for USDA school nutrition programs.

In a February 2025 governors’ meeting in D.C., Maine Gov. Janet Mills (D) threatened to sue Pres. Trump over his vow to withhold education funding to protect girls in states that refuse to follow Title IX laws. Now she’s doubling down, claiming the President doesn’t have the authority to deny her state funding: He “can’t create laws . . . by issuing executive orders.” Mills may want to repeat her government 101 course—it’s the President’s responsibility to execute laws through federal agencies.

Since Title IX prohibits discrimination based on sex, the Attorney General is responsible for its enforcement. Federal regulations permit agencies to withhold funding to encourage adherence to the law. Gov. Mills only wants to follow the law when it suits her far-left extremism.

In 2022, Joe Biden threatened to take away free school lunches from poor children if states didn’t comply with his interpretation of gender identity. Biden also withheld education funding for schools in 2023 because he didn’t want gun safety courses to be taught. Gov. Mills didn’t threaten to sue the Democrat President over withholding education funds then. She is simply placing her extreme transgender ideology over the education and welfare of Maine’s children.

The way to get off this see-saw is to get Washington out of education.

THE EV BUBBLE CONTINUES TO DEFLATE: Maserati kills electric version of MC20 supercar for lack of demand. “Even Ferrari’s until-now-legendary resale values have started to crack when the model in question needs plugging in, and Maserati’s management has concluded that the cost of developing the MC20 Folgore was not matched to the number of cars it thought it would sell.”
