TIK TOK LOBBYISTS HAVE NO PROBLEM ENTERING BIDEN WHITE HOUSE: Washington Free Beacon’s Alana Goodman reports Til Tok lobbyists visiting the Biden White House at least 40 times in the past year. Nothing to see here, folks, move along.

DATA SHOW PRO-LIFE IS A WINNING ISSUE FOR GOP: Despite the incessant warnings in the Mainstream Media that Republicans will doom their 2024 prospects by taking a strongly pro-life position, there is significant survey data indicating being pro-life, while accepting some reasonable exceptions, is the winning ticket. I have the numbers and the analysis in this morning’s Epoch Times.

IS THIS AMERICA’S GREAT DIVORCE? Or the spreading of the Woke cancer? Issues & Insights provides the promised followup to last week’s analysis on net migration patterns showing blue states losing population as red states grow larger. Turns out 61 percent of the nation’s counties carried by President Joe Biden in 2020 have lost population in the years since. And yes, 65 percent of the Trump-supporting counties have since gained population.
In addition, Issues & Insights notes that:
- Two Biden-voting counties that lost the most from net migration were Los Angeles County, which was down 363,760, and Cook County, Illinois, down 200,718. While many of the blue counties that lost population were urbanized, the exodus was widespread and nationwide, including many far more sparsely populated liberal areas.
- In contrast, the biggest loss in any red county was Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, down just 18,470, followed by Worcester County, Maryland, which is in the southern part of the state, down only 17,545.
And even in the 13 states that lost population post-2020, the red counties within those jurisdictions gained new residents from elsewhere within the state borders. And so the question remains, as Issues & Insights explains, with examples of red counties within Arizona and Texas that were turned blue by the migration:
“Will this mass migration lead to an even more divided country, with people increasingly relocating to be with their ideological brethren? Will it mean that, as in those Arizona and Texas counties, Democrats take over more areas that had been traditionally conservative as they ditch the disasters their own policies produced? Or will this migration out of leftist enclaves lead to a weakening of the undue influence a few elitist urban areas have on national politics?”

MAYBE THE MIDDLE AGES WEREN’T SO DARK AFTER ALL: Forget pretty much everything you were taught in school about how dark a time it was for anybody with a scientific turn of mind from 500 A.D. to that day in 1517 when Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses on the Wittenberg church door. That’s the case made by science historian Michael Keas this morning on HillFaith.

DO YOU SMELL IT? Lies lose their power when the deceived stop accepting them as true. If you have a child at or approaching college age, this is one to consider.

WOKE MIND-VIRUS SPREADS: Hans Bader of Liberty Unyielding says courses based on Critical Race Theory (CRT) are increasingly mandatory on campuses.
TRANSPARENCY FOR THEE, NOT FOR ME: This is rich: Two U.S. non-profits linked with the Global Disinformation Index, a UK-based group pushing for advertisers to avoid selling their wares on conservative media outlets with “opaque” funding, are refusing to disclose such information about themselves, according to the Washington Examiner’s Gabe Kaminsky.

WOKE WON’T WIN WARS: The Biden Pentagon’s latest assault on the religious freedom of U.S. service members is tossing a group of Catholic priests out of Walter Reed and using Beltway Bandit staffers instead.
This is wrong on multiple counts, according to Mike Berry of the First Liberty Institute and The Right Reverend Derek LS Jones, Executive Director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty. More here in my latest PJ Media column.
AMERICA MOVING TO TRUMP COUNTRY: Remember that “Emerging Democratic Majority” predicted by Ruy Texiera and John Judis in 2002? The growth of Hispanic and other non-white voting groups would inevitably turn America into a Blue nation. Well, maybe not. Turns out the implementation of lunatic Blue (but I repeat myself) policy is its own worst enemy.
Issues & Insights points to the nationwide county-to-county migration data published by the U.S. Census Bureau, which shows that “there’s a mass exodus underway, with people leaving Biden strongholds and heading to MAGA country. New Census data show that, from 2021 to 2022, more than 2 million people moved out of urban areas that are largely controlled by Democrats and relocated to exurbs and more rural areas that largely voted for Donald Trump.”
The Issues & Insights folks promise further analyses of these data are coming.
Put another way, people, including those of all ethnicities, are fleeing the high crime, high taxes, high infrastructure deterioration, high failure of public education, etc. etc. that increasingly define America’s bluest cities and suburbs. They are moving to Red states and counties, places where the word “normal” still has concrete meaning.
Correlation is not causation, but that may be a distinction without a difference when there is such a clear relationship between left-wing policy become steadily more entrenched in a community, and the subsequent decline in the quality of life that prompts population exodus to more civilized climes.

EARLY REPORT CARD ON HOUSE GOP: Mixed reviews – Yes, there have been some unexpected wins despite the formidable roadblocks in the Senate and Oval Office, but much, much more expected. I talked to a bunch of folks on the Right side for this story.
PASSOVER MEANS FREEDOM FROM SLAVERY: The core message of Passover may be more than three millennia old, but it should never be forgotten. The Lid’s Jeff Dunetz explains why this is an enduring lesson for every man, Jew and Gentile, who wants to be and stay free.
WILL MANCHIN AND/OR SINEMA BE NEXT? A third Democrat state legislator decides it’s time to switch parties. (Yes, I know the first two are federal legislators and the other three are state legislators. But there are signs and inferences regarding the former that suggest a possible trend seen in the latter. Okay?)

THIS WILL NOT END WELL: Biden administration’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) set to unveil proposed rules tomorrow that will effectively force automakers to sell internal combustion-powered vehicles to no more than one-third of their customers. The remaining two-thirds must be electric vehicles by 2032. Why? Because climate, according to The Washington Free Beacon’s Collin Anderson.
But what if two-thirds of the people buying new vehicles prefer an internal combustion engine under their shiny new hoods? The results of a recent survey for AP, NORC Center for Public Affairs Research and the Energy Policy Institute show less than one in five Americans say they intend to buy an EV.
Apparently, EPA officials haven’t read this, which explains why America will never go EV.

288 PERCENT INCREASE IN CHURCH ATTACKS: That’s the major finding of a new analysis by the Family Research Council (FRC). There have been 69 attacks on churches in the U.S. during the first three months of 2023, compared to 24 for the same period in 2022.
“If this rate continues, 2023 will have the highest number of incidents of the six years FRC has tracked,” the FRC report notes. The number of church attacks in 2023 already exceeds “the entirety of 2018, in which we identified only 50 incidents, or 2020, in which we identified 54.”
HYPOCRISY, THY NAME IS ACADEMIA: This report by The Washington Free Beacon’s Claire Sprang says it all regarding campus hypocrisy via Columbia University’s faculty rejecting a proposed global center in Tel Aviv, while having no problem at all with the school having a facility in Beijing, home of the world’s largest human-rights abuse machine.
WYOMING DEM SAYS YOU SHOULD DIE: If you oppose the transgender insanity, that is. State Rep. Karlee Provenza is right up front with her murderous advocacy, according to The Lid’s Warner Todd Huston, as the Wyoming Democrat posted this shortly after a 28-year-old woman killed three adults and three nine-year-old children in a Nashville school.

BIG WIN FOR CONSERVATIVE BAPTIST NETWORK: Like every other major American institution, Woke ideologues are infiltrating the nation’s largest Protestant denomination, but the conservatives within the Southern Baptist Convention aren’t just whining and complaining about it, they’re taking concrete action. My latest PJ Media column is up.

THE 20: New 11 minute documentary from the Heritage Foundation’s Daily Signal masterfully captures the huge importance and significant impact of the 20 members of the House of Representatives who took a stand and forced genuine change in Congress.
SOME ANIMALS MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS: No sooner had ActBlue managers signed a new collective bargaining deal with the fund-raising giant of the Left than they then turned around and fire a huge chunk of the workforce.
But don’t expect management to suffer during the “restructuring” they claim necessitated the layoffs, according to the Washington Free Beacon’s Andrew Kerr, who notes that “ActBlue’s leadership is handsomely compensated. At least 11 employees raked in over $200,000 in 2021, tax forms show.”
In addition, Kerr reports, “‘we are disappointed in Leadership and the Board’s refusal to take pay cuts or stipend freezes,’ the union said in a statement Monday. ‘Prioritizing executive profit over rank and file workers’ livelihoods does not live up to [ActBlue’s] progressive values.'”

DISBARMENT AHEAD FOR STANFORD LAW STUDENTS WHO PROTESTED JUDGE: George Washington University Law Emeritus Professor John Banzhaf has informed Stanford University School of Law officials that he intends to file a Bar complaint against the students who disrupted a lecture by Federal Circuit Court Judge Kyle Duncan.
“‘It appears that you have not taken any steps to discipline or otherwise sanction the student violators,’ Banzhaf said in a letter to Jenny Martinez, the law school’s dean, who has since ruled out punishing the hecklers. As such, the complaint ‘will have links to video recordings of the disruption so that bar officials can judge the students’ conduct for themselves,'” according to the Washington Free Beacon’s Aaron Sibarium.
“The California bar requires applicants to demonstrate ‘respect for the rights of others and for the judicial process.’ That means the students who disrupted Duncan—in part by telling him ‘we hope your daughters get raped’—could be in for a rude awakening if Banzhaf makes good on his threat.”
Let us hope he is able to make his point “good and hard,” as a former Baltimore newspaper guy used to say.

THINGS ARE SO BAD IN SEATTLE: That public transportation system officials have had to install Fentanyl detectors because the fumes are getting to drivers. Washington Free Beacon’s Susannah Luthi reports at least 50 bus drivers became so sick from the fumes that they had to stop and seek emergency medical treatment.
“The city is installing the detectors as part of a University of Washington study whose researchers hope to ‘better understand drugs that are being smoked on the buses and trains.’ Symptoms of fentanyl exposure include dizziness and breathing difficulties,” Luthi writes. Which makes one wonder, what else is there to understand – the fumes are evidence of illegal drug use and passengers doing so should be arrested and punished.
PLAY BALL! Those are the two happiest words in the vocabulary for The Lid’s Jeff Dunetz. It’s time for Jeff’s opening day tribute to the world’s finest sport. He’s a practicing Jew and I’m a born-again Christian, but we both love baseball because we know God created the game. Otherwise, why would the first verse of Genesis begin with “In the big inning …”?

WILL CONGRESS GIVE DOJ WATCHDOG MORE AUTHORITY: Not an encouraging outlook at this early point in the 118th Congress for Department of Justice Inspector-General Michael Horowitz to get authority to investigate professional misconduct allegations against federal prosecutors.
AMERICA THE LOST: Washington Examiner Editor-in-Chief Hugo Gurdon is unsurprised by the results of that much-publicized Wall Street Journal survey and concludes that it’s “no surprise, but it is a calamity. The nation is where it is because it has been attacked from within by people of a political persuasion that, for generations, has paid only hypocritical lip service (if that) to being on America’s side.”

WHY NOT AMERICA FIRST? Daniel Oliver, one of my favorite former Reagan administration colleagues, isn’t buying the claim the Great Communicator would be in the cheering section for the Biden administration’s Ukraine policy.
