HOW COULD ANYONE HAVE THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA: Anthem insurance reverses anesthesia policy change after backlash. “After facing weeks of pushback, health insurer Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield said Thursday it will not go ahead with a policy change that would have limited reimbursements for anesthesia during medical procedures. If the proposed policy had taken effect, it would have only reimbursed doctors based on time limits set by the insurer.”

OUR RULING CLASS MONOCULTURE IS GLOBAL:

SAME: MTG wants ‘murder charges’ for officer who shot Ashli Babbitt. “Testimony and video from the day showed Babbitt being pushed through a door window into the House Speaker’s Lobby behind the House floor when, without warning, she was shot by Byrd. The shooting was investigated, but no charges were leveled, and Byrd was promoted. In addition to the promotion from lieutenant, Just the News reported this week that House Democratic leaders pressured the Capitol Police to give Byrd a $37,000 retention bonus, help with $160,000 in private fundraising, and housing. Meanwhile, the 115-pound Babbitt, who was 36 when shot, has been savaged in the liberal media.”

WHY THEY’RE AFRAID OF PETE HEGSETH:

NO STOP SIGNS IN A GUNFIGHT: When To Stop Shooting. “An untrained shooter can fire four rounds per second while an elite, trained shooter is capable of firing seven or eight accurate rounds per second. This inherent delay to stop shooting generally translates into one to four rounds fired before being capable of stopping our fingers from rapidly pressing our triggers. It simply requires time to stop shooting after finally perceiving the threat is over.”

NOT ALL PARTS OF AMERICA WORK EQUALLY WELL: NASA delays crewed Artemis II launch to April 2026 after heat shield issues. “Nelson said engineers need time to prepare the heat shield on the Orion capsule, which already is attached, but needs modifications to safely re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere. More time also needed to ‘address the Orion environmental control and life support systems,’ he said.”
