THE LONELY LIVES OF FORMER STAR TREK ACTORS:

In 1975, original Saturday Night Live head writer Michael O’Donoghue, fresh off the National Lampoon, was asked by producer Lorne Michaels to write scripts for the show’s original co-stars, the Muppets. (Michaels and Jim Henson shared a manager, if you’re wondering how that shotgun wedding happened.) O’Donoghue famously replied, “I don’t write for felt!”

Today’s left are now crying over them. This is not a healthy society.

UPDATE: As I was saying:

NO KIDDING? Biden DOJ Calls Biden a ‘Well-Meaning, Elderly Man with Poor Memory.’ “Never mind the weasel language about how Biden would present himself to a jury because an ‘elderly man with a poor memory’ is how he presents himself to members of the press, gathered audiences, and various deceased foreign dignitaries from countries he gets mixed up sometimes.”

TIME FOR ACTION: Time To Punish Iran’s Ayatollah Regime For Its War On The World

Since the 1990s, Iran’s Khomeinist regime has waged a global Aryan nationalist holy war.

Iran is Aryanistan. Land of the Aryans. Check it out. The Iran Aryans despise Semites; Arabs and Jews are Semites. Ishmael, Arab progenitor, was a son of Abraham. That’s one deep reason Donald Trump’s Abraham Accords had traction.

Khomeinist refers to followers of Khomeinism, the violent ideology of the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini who toppled the Shah in 1979. Khomeini was a bitter old man who liked to write love-laced pleasure-enthused Persian poetry when he wasn’t despising Western civilization.

Failed artist turning to revolution — that’s a deadly history. Karl Marx was a failed German poet. Marx wanted to be Novalis (a brilliant German Romantic poet and polymath — check him out). Adolf Hitler (a self-proclaimed Aryan Fuhrer) was a failed painter. I’m told Khomeini’s poems are ersatz Omar Khayyam but at times show signs of merit.

More:

At some point, the Iranian regime itself must suffer a heavy and deadly military blow.

One option: a “simultaneous strategic bombing strike” (SSBS, first described by StrategyPage.com in 2003). In a short time frame, aircraft, cruise missiles, drones and perhaps ballistic missiles with conventional warheads deliver hundreds of precision weapons, hitting regime nuclear targets, Iranian Al-Quds special forces and Revolutionary Guard command and control facilities, air defense sites, ballistic missile sites and intelligence agency facilities.

Of course, the President must give the order…

DRIVING DYSTOPIA: Driving Dystopia: Europe’s Low Emission Zones Aren’t Going Over Well. “These strictly enforced Ultra Low Emission Zones never resonated with the public. The very first cameras received complaints, as some local residents realized there was almost no way for them to leave their driveway without encountering one. Before long, cameras started being vandalized or destroyed overnight by individuals wearing masks. This was followed by a 66-percent disapproval rate in a referendum asking whether or not citizens wanted to see ULEZ expansion in 2023. Londoners very clearly did not. But the government moved on with the program anyway and created a situation that now literally requires the hiring of armed guards to protect enforcement cameras from damage.”

This is the spirit of resistance the world needs today.

WELL, THIS IS THE 21st CENTURY YOU KNOW, EVEN IN OLD BLIGHTY: First ‘private’ nuclear reactor to power 2m British homes.

Britain’s first “private” nuclear power station is to be built in Teesside using mini reactors previously championed by Boris Johnson.

Four so-called small modular reactors (SMRs) will be installed on the north bank of the River Tees under the scheme, producing 1.5 gigawatts of power – enough for up to two million homes.

For the first time in British history, the taxpayer is not involved.

The aim is to have them running by the early 2030s, meaning the power station could be in operation ahead of Hinkley Point C – now under construction in Somerset – and well before Sizewell C, planned for the Suffolk coast. Both are backed by the state.

Community Nuclear Power, the company behind the Teesside project, said it has reached an agreement with the US manufacturer Westinghouse to supply the reactors.

Faster, please. As Glenn likes to say, you can’t be antinuclear and care about the environment.

CNN CHYRONS, MAN:

THE NEW SPACE RACE: Nose-Up Dream Chaser Spaceplane Gets the Shakes Ahead of Historic Mission.

The spaceplane is at the Armstrong Test Facility not solely to be shown to the media, but to undergo crucial testing to see if it can survive the hardships of going to orbit, but also the extremes of space.

The facility NASA operates in Ohio is home to the world’s most powerful shaker system. That’s a piece of hardware meant to rattle spacecraft to their core, in a bid to simulate the vibrations they will experience during launch and re-entry. The Dream Chaser has already gone through it, and nothing fell off.

Now that this crucial step is out of the way, NASA will move the plane in a huge vacuum chamber, this time in a bid to simulate the coldness and emptiness of space, complete with low pressure, low temperatures, and dynamic solar heating.

If all goes well the ship will eventually move to the Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida for launch. It will reach the pad installed in the fairing of a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Vulcan Centaur rocket, the same kind that was used for the first time in January to launch the failed Peregrine lunar lander.

Dream Chaser’s first mission will see it perform all sorts of tests to validate its systems. On approach to the ISS, it will perform far-field and near-field procedures to test its attitude control, translational maneuvers, and abort capabilities.

Godspeed…

SNOWFALLS ARE NOW JUST A THING OF THE PAST: Hawaii Supreme Court Justice Handling Lawsuit Against Oil Companies Calls Climate Change An ‘Existential Threat.’

  • Hawaii Supreme Court Justice Sabrina McKenna called climate change an “an existential threat” and “the most important issue” facing courts during an Oct. 26 talk at the University of Colorado Boulder Law School.

  • The Hawaii Supreme Court ruled this week that Honolulu’s lawsuit against oil and gas companies can proceed to trial.

  • “Climate change is, in my view, the most important issue facing all courts in the world,” McKenna said during the event.

That’s nice. When do Hawaiian leftists prove that they’re serious on this topic by banning all passenger aviation to and from the island?
