I SELDOM SEE ANYONE WITH ACNE ANYMORE: Women with acne face social stigma. But I’m pretty sure that men with acne face social disadvantages too.

WHEN THEY TELL YOU WHO THEY ARE, BELIEVE THEM: ‘Squad’ Members Were Boosting Hamas Long Before It Beheaded Babies. “Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Ayanna Presley, D-Mass., Cori Bush, D-Mo., and Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., each published press releases and personal statements in response to the early morning raid by Hamas terrorists that took the lives of more than 1,200 Israelis, including 25 Americans, and resulted in more than 3,000 wounded. In each case, their comments began with empty platitudes for the violence experienced on both sides, before they turned to casting blame on Israel and justifying Hamas violence.”

NEWS ORGANIZATION DOES ACTUAL PUBLIC SERVICE: Hell would freeze over before CNN or The New York Times followed suit, but John Solomon’s Just The News is doing the right thing simply because it’s the right thing to do: “Just the News partners with anti-Semitism nonprofit to raise funds for Hamas massacre survivors

“Just the News is partnering with the Combat Antisemitism Movement nonprofit to raise funds for survivors of the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, with major donors promising to match dollar-for-dollar each contribution made by the news organization’s readers, viewers and listeners.

Proceeds will be donated to the Israel Emergency Support Fund, which has been set up to raise money for frontline responders in Israel, including the Magen David Adom, the country’s national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance and blood bank service, and the Soroka Hospital of Beersheva, closest major medical center to where last Saturday’s attacks occurred in southern Israel. Proceeds will also go to two kibbutzes where horrible massacres occurred.”

LAUGHING WOLF ON WHAT AN AMERICAN OCT7 MIGHT LOOK LIKE: Thoughts & Sea Changes.

To go back to the networks here and elsewhere, I was asked about my thoughts on targets. I think it depends on which group is involved. In terms of what some here may have been thinking, I believe they thought they could control a significant amount of those coming in and use them much like BLM during the ‘Summer of Love.’ Which also seems to answer the question of if BLM or Antifa were the Brown Shirts. To me, looks like the avowed Marxists (see their own statements) won that dubious prize, and it looks like Antifa got somewhat double-crossed in the process. Wondering if that might be a result of realizing that Antifa has some interesting ties overseas and might be taking its orders from eleswhere and not here as good little troops. Hmmmmm.

Given where some of the Antifa leadership is reported to have gotten their training, I find it interesting that some of the attacks (probes) on our power grid seem to also be tied to certain parts of Europe according to some reports I’ve seen. Betting in both cases that those who train and lead may not speak Russian, but I bet those who trained them did. Bet they are tied together in other ways too.

Target selection here depends on which group. I suspect the Chinese controlled groups will go for military and infrastructure. Hard to do much about an attack on Taiwan if we can’t get planes off the ground, ships to sea, or other such delights. Russian backed is much the same, though I would expect them to hit more at the power grid and food. Those backed by the Mad Mullahs and similar will hit soft targets and go for general rape and murder in order to humiliate, terrorize, and show dominance over the Great Satan. There are some other groups rumored to have people here courtesy of our insecure southern border that might go for different, or at least different combinations.

Short version is that I see our power grid, transportation, food production and distribution as the “serious” targets, with schools, events (raves/concerts anyone?), religious services and other soft targets being the choice of the terrorist crowd. I can also see some of the serious crowd using the soft-target crowd as cover so they can do things and make it look like a part of the terror. I also think that if you live in a Blue city, things will be very bad. The idea was (I think) to make you scared and willing to give up freedoms for the illusion of safety. That plays right into the terrorist/soft-target crowd and they may well ramp that up on their own.

Since it seems unlikely our national leadership is interested in eliminating soft targets (quite the opposite these days) and our blue cities have even worse leadership, your best option is to make your home and yourself a hard target — but you knew that already.

Much more food for thought at the link.

TERRORISTS, DRUG CARTELS AND THE OPEN BORDER: Josh Phillips, host of Epoch TV’s “Crossroads,” describes the multiple connections between street gangs, organized crime and global terrorism. Those connections, combined with the open border of the U.S., is a national security threat that is not sufficiently appreciated at the highest levels.

QUANTUM THEORY AND THEOLOGY: Maybe they’re not so different after all, according to this latest “What Would You Say?” video on HillFaith and from the Colson Center.

ROUTINE BUT NEVER BORING:

The mission looks good so far — godspeed.

DIFFERENCES MATTER:

“Meanwhile, Hamas is telling the Palestinian citizens to stay put in order to use them as human shields.”

Hamas needs dead Palestinian children to muster international opinion against Israel for retaliating against Hamas’s murder of Israeli children.

RICHARD C LYONS: What Comes as No Surprise.

It is not surprising that last August, the Democrat Biden administration finalized an appeasement policy deal to free $6 Billion of Iranian assets frozen in South Korean banks since 2019 sanctions were imposed by the Trump administration.

It is not surprising that, since the appeasement deal was OK’d in August and funding was in the pipeline, there have been bi-weekly meetings in Lebanon and Syria between such terrorist luminaries as Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Islamic Jihad leader Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Hamas military chief Saleh al-Arouri, and Iran’s Republican Guard’s “Quds Force” head Ismail Qaani. Or that at least two of these meetings were attended by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

After all, Iran has been funding Hamas and Hezbollah with $100 Million and $700 Million, respectively, on an annual basis for years. And they had just received a vocal promise of $6 billion for further operations. And these are not the only terrorist organizations Iran funds for military operations: there are 19 terrorist organizations operating as Iranian proxies on every border of U.S. ally Israel at this moment.

What is not a surprise is that, since the invasion, Hamas militants are threatening to kill hostages if Israel uses further military force to defeat Hamas.

THERE SHOULD BE CONSEQUENCES FOR THIS CORRUPTION AND MALFEASANCE: Rand Paul: Everything Fauci And His Cohorts Were Saying Publicly, They Were Saying The Opposite Privately.

“Everything that Anthony Fauci and his cohorts, these other virologists were saying publicly, they were saying the opposite privately,” Paul said. “Then it turns out that many of the people that were appointed to be part of this all had quiet interests that they weren’t willing to reveal. Including Anthony Fauci. When I asked him directly under oath whether or not he was receiving royalties from any of the companies manufacturing vaccines, he refused to answer. When I asked him whether anybody on the committee was receiving royalties he lashed out and accused me of something but would never answer the question.”

“So there really are some big, big questions and some reforms that should be obvious to everybody,” Paul said. “You shouldn’t be allowed to be voting on a committee if you’re receiving money from the companies that are going to make billions of dollars because of your decision. We have uncovered a lot of conflicts of interest here. There’s much to be done. I’ve referred Anthony Fauci twice for criminal prosecution by the Department of Justice. As you know, Merrick Garland will probably not go down in history as the most objective of Attorneys General. So I don’t have much luck. But other than prosecuting Anthony Fauci, it is important to remember that the truth be told and that people see the evidence laid out as that this virus did come from a lab. It came from gain of function research that we were funding, that Anthony Fauci was funded.”

Severe consequences.

DISPATCHES FROM THE BLUE ZONES: Israeli student beaten with stick outside Columbia University library.

A 19-year-old woman attacked a 24-year-old male Israeli student with a stick outside of Columbia University’s main library amid division on campus regarding the Israel-Hamas war.

The police responded to a report of the assault in Morningside Heights – outside Butler Library – at 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday, cops said.

The attack occurred when the victim confronted the woman after watching her tear down flyers displaying the names and pictures of Israelis kidnapped by Hamas last weekend, according to the Columbia Daily Spectator, which first reported the attack.

The victim, who asked to be referred to as I.A. in an interview with The Spectator for fear of his safety, suffered minor injuries that include a bruised hand and broken ring finger.

I.A. will not be returning to campus for several days, and warned other Jewish and Israeli students about hostilities on campus as protests over the war continue.

“We were all kinds of shocked that this stuff can happen on our own campus, which should be a safe haven,” I.A. said.

That hasn’t been true for a long time.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: Scalise Is Out, So the GOP Drama in the House Is Over, Right? “Kudos to Scalise for not lingering until the last possible moment before yielding to the inevitable. His hope that some of his colleagues might opt for the greater good rather than their delicate little feelings might be a bit Pollyanna-ish though.”

FROM CHEERING FOR RAPE AND BABY-MURDER TO PANIC: Panic Grips Gaza as Israel Calls for 1.1 Million People to Evacuate.

Why doesn’t neighboring Arab country Egypt open the gates and let them through? People seem to forget that Egypt has a (basically closed) border with Gaza. Where are the Egyptians’ humanitarian instincts?
