I KEEP TELLING PEOPLE NOT TO COUNT OUT THE DEMOCRATS…

…because their voters are angry, they are energized, and they keep scoring wins whenever Trump isn’t on the ticket.

LANGUAGE RULES FOR CRAZY PEOPLE: Columbia Law School Tells Students To Avoid Offensive Terms Like ‘Crazy Uncle’ and ‘Grandfathering.’ “The session, audio of which was obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, came in the wake of the Trump administration’s deal with Columbia University, which pledged to mandate anti-Semitism training for all students and faculty. Though a Columbia official said that the training was not intended to meet that obligation, it appears to have been crafted with the deal in mind.”

So every time that button got clicked, for every marketplace order, the seller was never informed the customer didn’t want the item anymore.

Hundreds of thousands of people, for years, clicked that button thinking their order would get cancelled, but then they got the order anyway And had to bring it to UPS.

I was the first to discover this, among many other things, And both engineering teams didn’t want to fix it because their bosses didn’t want marketplace revenue to seem lower, even though most of these items would be returns.

I just had my team run a query and cancel these orders everyday to fix the issue within days. I could never get anyone to sign off on it, so I just did it.

I assume that the long-term fix has been sitting on some Indian engineering team’s road map for years at this point.

We uncovered dozens of major issues like this that Indian engineering teams were sweeping under the rug.

It’s weird how corrupt hiring practices and corrupt business practices seem to go hand-in-hand.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: Wearisome Dem Tough Bros Would Soil Themselves in a Faceoff With Trump. “Yesterday, we saw doughy Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker put down his sandwich long enough to tell Trump not to come to Chicago to slow down the murders. He held the press conference in front of a Trump building, which someone told him would be cool. It wasn’t. And Trump, being the President of the United States and everything, will go wherever he damn well pleases in this country.”

BEGUN, THE OIL WARS HAVE: Russia raises August oil export plan after drone strikes disrupt refineries, sources say.

Russia has revised up its crude oil export plan from western ports by 200,000 barrels per day (bpd) in August from the initial schedule after Ukrainian drone attacks disrupted refinery operations and freed up more crude for shipment, three people familiar with the matter said.

Export planning remains uncertain, however, due to ongoing strikes and shifting repair schedules, so delays and volume revisions are likely, they said.

“Attacks are ongoing and repair deadlines change daily. It’s unclear how much Russia can load this month or next,” one person said.

Russian oil sellers were yet to receive final loading plans for September, though normally they have the full plan a week before the loading month.

Russia’s Energy Ministry and Transneft oil pipeline monopoly did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

They’re probably a bit preoccupied at the moment.

Meanwhile: Ukraine’s Attacks Are Forcing Russia to Ration Its Fuel. “The intensifying Ukrainian drone campaign against Russian refineries has taken some 13% of Russia’s fuel production offline, according to analysts. Sanctions imposed by the West after the 2022 invasion, meanwhile, have limited Moscow’s ability to repair infrastructure and service remaining installations.”

The Reuters estimate is 17%, but who know which is correct — if either.

2026 PREVIEW: Mayra Flores ditches Cuellar to run against Gonzalez after Texas redistricting boosts odds. “Flores announced in April that she was running to challenge Cuellar in the 28th District after losing twice over the last few cycles to Gonzalez in the 34th District, where she briefly served as congresswoman. But Flores has changed her plans after Texas redrew its congressional maps, adding five GOP congressional seats and widening Republican margins in existing districts.”

DOG BITES MAN: Portland Antifa knife attack suspect re-arrested after breaking release terms. “Julie Mikela Winters, formerly known as Christopher Hudson, was arrested June 24 during an Antifa riot outside the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in southwest Portland. Video showed Winters brandishing a long-bladed weapon at DHS agents guarding the facility before hurling it as a projectile toward one of them.”

SPACE: Jupiter’s core isn’t what we thought.

It had been thought that a colossal collision with an early planet containing half of Jupiter’s core material could have mixed up the central region of the gas giant, enough to explain its interior today.

But a new study published in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society suggests its make-up is actually down to how the growing planet absorbed heavy and light materials as it formed and evolved.

Unlike what scientists once expected, the core of the largest planet in our solar system doesn’t have a sharp boundary but instead gradually blends into the surrounding layers of mostly hydrogen – a structure known as a dilute core.

So not an Earth-sized diamond?

MAKING DO: Hunting Russian Drones in a Prop Plane With Shotguns and Rifles.

This month, a beaten-up, Soviet-era propeller-driven plane taxied to a halt on a rural runway and two of Ukraine’s top air aces clambered out, one carrying a rifle. The pair, clad in olive-drab flight suits, are part of a low-tech solution to the high-tech problem of Russian drones.

The 56-year-old pilot, who learned to fly as a hobby before the war, and the gunner, 38, a former auto mechanic who had never been in a plane before the invasion, are part of a squadron dedicated to knocking down the unmanned Russian attack and reconnaissance aircraft that are the bane of ground troops and civilians.

In the past year, these two unlikely air warriors have flown around 300 combat missions as part of the 11th Army Aviation Brigade and downed almost half the unit’s total of 120 drones eliminated, according to its deputy commander, Col. Mykola Lykhatskiy.

Ukraine has some of the West’s most advanced air defenses, including the Patriot missile system. It also has F-16 jets that it sometimes uses to down missiles and drones. But it has also developed a series of lower-cost tactics to counter the threat from the skies, ranging from nets to signal jamming.

Is the Pentagon paying attention?

LANGUAGE RULES FOR CRAZY PEOPLE: Democrat Forbidden Words For 2025 (Plus Additions). “See, the problem with the modern woke mind-virus, social justice-infected Democrat Party doesn’t begin, or end, with their obfuscating academic jargon. Their need to Orwellize the language is a result of the deeply unpopular, racist, bigoted, anti-borders, anti-reality policies social justice democrats have been promulgating. Their language is bad because their ideas are bad.”

FAIL, BRITANNIA: From the ‘Banter Bill’ to Bias Hotlines: The Alarming Rise of Snitch Networks.

A troubling new piece of legislation continues to make its way through the British parliament. Dubbed the “Banter Bill,” the Employment Rights Bill would criminalize any speech that might be considered offensive by any passerby.

As Dominic Green reports for The Free Press, under this proposed law, “Britons can be prosecuted for a remark that a worker in a public space overhears and finds insulting.” Under this standard, whether a certain sentiment (for instance, that Britain should reduce immigration) is legal will now depend on whether someone in the vicinity takes offense.

Unfortunately, this new subjective standard for what types of speech are allowed isn’t restricted to Great Britain. In the United States, more and more states are experimenting with a similar system. The Washington Free Beacon reports that eight states have set up “bias-response hotlines” which citizens are encouraged to call if they hear a comment — from a neighbor, coworker, or even passersby on the street — that they consider to be offensive. As Oregon says of their hotline, if you see or hear someone “creating racist images/drawings; mocking someone with a disability; or telling or sharing offensive ‘jokes’ about someone’s identity” they want to hear about it.
