EVERYTHING IS FINE, Just Russia Banning Gas and Diesel Exports. “That said, these are all reasonable measures, and none indicates that Russia is running out of gas or diesel. What they do indicate is that Kyiv’s efforts have, in fairly short order, produced too much pressure on Russian energy production for Moscow to ignore.”

The Left projects. Always.
THIS IS A BIG DEAL: China’s Aircraft Carrier Capability Just Made A Stunning Leap Forward.
The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) has demonstrated its ability to launch and recover aircraft from its first catapult-equipped aircraft carrier, the Fujian. Official imagery released by the PLAN today confirms that the new J-35 naval stealth fighters and KJ-600 airborne early warning and control aircraft are carrying out carrier trials, something that had not been seen until now. Meanwhile, we’ve also got a much better view of the J-15T single-seat carrier-based fighter launching and recovering aboard Fujian, having previously seen it in position for a catapult launch with its afterburners engaged. The sudden appearance of video of all three aircraft operating from the ship for the first time is something of a stunning revelation, one of many that has come this year from China’s air power portfolio.
The undated videos and photos showing flight operations aboard Fujian reveal examples of all three aircraft being prepared for catapult launch, taking off, and then making arrested recoveries. The aircraft are also shown in flight, including in formation with a J-15D series electronic warfare aircraft, and Fujian is shown from above, with the J-35, KJ-600, and J-15T arranged on its deck.
…
While we don’t know how long these fixed-wing aircraft types have now been conducting flight operations aboard the carrier, revealing all three in action at once is something of a coup.
Carrier operations are difficult and dangerous, and China is working very hard at getting good at them.

COME SEE THE VIOLENCE INHERENT IN THE LEFTISM: Would-Be Kavanaugh Assassin Planned to Murder As Many as 4 SCOTUS Justices to Protect Roe v. The assassin has pleaded guilty and will soon be sentenced. A Justice Department sentencing memorandum filed on Friday, seeking a 30-year prison sentence, laid out more details, revealing the extent of the assassin’s advance planning.”

FASTER? PLEASE! Trump on record-setting deregulation pace, ‘lowest ever.’
“As of Sept. 22, there have been 1,879 final rules published in the Federal Register, including 243 inherited from Biden. That projects to about 2,590 by year-end — the lowest ever — with the ‘net’ even lower once deregulatory ‘unrules’ are counted,” according to the analysis from Clyde Wayne Crews Jr. of the Competitive Enterprise Institute.
Trump has made slashing federal regulations a hallmark of his presidency. In his first term, he promised to cut two for every new rule he proposed. In his second presidency, he has promised to raise that to 10 for every new regulation.
In his new analysis, Crews found that Trump actually cut five regulations for every new one in his first term. And, he told Secrets, Trump is doubling that in his second term.
“These are of such a volume that it looks like Trump ought not have any problem meeting the one in, 10 out goals,” Crews said.
That’s a good start.

BULLIES: Communist China’s 80th Anniversary Victory Parade: Nuclear Intimidation.
China’s English language propaganda mouthpiece Global Times stated that the massive Chinese DF-5C ICBM, displayed during the parade, had a range of 20,000-km and that it carried nuclear and conventional multiple independently targetable warheads. The DF-5C can reportedly carry 12 nuclear warheads (the Pentagon’s China military power report says the DF-5 can carry five.) In effect, it was advertising a nuclear threat to the entire world. The message was “do not resist Chinese aggression” or “aid its victims.” Xi Jinping has ordered that the Chinese military be prepared to invade Taiwan by 2027. The unprecedented post-Cold War Chinese nuclear buildup appears directly connected to this objective.
The full Chinese nuclear Triad was displayed for the first time during the parade. It showcased the large new DF-61 ICBM. This missile came as a surprise. According to noted China expert Rick Fisher, the new DF-61 ICBM uses the same mobile launcher as the powerful DF-41 ICBM, underscoring that “…this new missile has new capabilities, perhaps more than 10 multiple warheads, or new multiple hypersonic glide vehicle warheads, again perhaps intended to overcome future U.S. Golden Dome defenses.” Janes’s credits the DF-61 with up to 12 nuclear warheads.
Fisher also noted that the newly displayed version of the DF-31 ICBM “…is interesting” because the “… DF-31BJ comes in a self-contained cold-launch tube, meaning the tubes can be stored, to be available for rapid reloading, and the silos do not have to be stressed for hot launches, making them cheaper and easier to replicate if required.” An analysis by the Federation of American Scientists also concluded that the DF-31BJ was a silo-based ICBM.
…
Actually, in addition to the DF-61, according to U.S. government publications, China has three other MIRVed ICBMs and SLBMs (the DF-41, the DF-31, and the JL-3). According to Joseph Trevithick, Deputy Editor of The War Zone, “The newly emerged DF-61 could still be just one of several all-new ICBM designs China has been working on.” STRATCOM Commander General Anthony Cotton reportedly stated in a closed Congressional hearing that China was developing a “new generation of mobile intercontinental ballistic missiles.”
Exit quote: “By comparison, the U.S. has one ICBM, the small 1970 vintage three warhead Minuteman III, reduced to one warhead by the New START Treaty, and which will be replaced by a single ICBM type, the Sentinel. which has not yet been flight tested and is experiencing major delays.”
Most of our missile-launched nuclear deterrent is on board 14 Ohio-class submarines that are aging out faster than their Columbia-class replacements — which carry fewer missiles and which we’ll build fewer of.

Violent, spoiled children.
SCOTUS: Supreme Court to hear case on presidential authority to fire independent board members.
The Supreme Court decided to take the case after it ruled in a 6-3 split that Trump can fire Rebecca Slaughter, a Democratic member of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), while the case plays out, per the Associated Press.
The high court will be ruling on whether to overturn a Franklin Roosevelt-era precedent, established in 1935, that determined a board member can only be removed by a president for misconduct or neglect of duty. The Trump administration has argued that the president should have the authority to fire board members who work for the executive branch.
The case comes after Trump tried to fire Democratic members of the FTC, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and Federal Reserve board of governors.
“Congress, as everyone agrees, prohibited each of those presidential removals,” liberal Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan wrote in a minority decision. “Yet the majority, stay order by stay order, has handed full control of all those agencies to the President.”
The problem — which Republicans are finally doing something about — is that these “independent” agencies tend to become dominated by leftists and Swamp creatures.
Which is a “difference without distinction,” as we used to say on the debate boards.

We needed to import cheap labor and lock citizens out of perfectly good starter jobs why, exactly?
K-12 IMPLOSION UPDATE: High schoolers are earning career credentials, but most have no value.
According to Credentials Matter, only one of every eight career credentials leads to higher pay.
Employers value Microsoft Office Specialist certifications, or nursing, electrical and commercial drivers’ licenses, researchers say. They’re looking for young people with technical certificates in auto repair, construction or welding.
But “over a quarter of all high school credentials only provide workplace readiness skills such as digital and financial literacy,” writes O’Donnell.
States are encouraging schools to add career classes, but few recommend only credentials with labor-market value, reports Advance CTE.
Another reason why we have to import skilled labor from overseas.
