MORE ON STOP ‘CENSORSHIP WITHOUT DUE PROCESS’: Here’s what it’s all about, as I explain in my latest PJ Media column:
“It doesn’t take a medical science genius or ace demographer to figure out that a one-third reduction in the human birth rate around the world could be catastrophic for all of us. And if that’s the case, shouldn’t everybody be able to read the studies and reach their own conclusions about their credibility?
“Not according to LinkedIn, which censored that post as ‘false or misleading.’ I was told I could appeal the decision of the LinkedIn censors. I did so and specifically requested that the particular offending passage in the post be identified to me and an explanation provided in writing for why it was deemed so offensive to justify censoring it.”
Any bets on the odds Linkedin stays mum? Happy Memorial Day!
PAY YOUR DEBTS: Millions of Americans hit with bad credit after missed student loan payments. “Credit scores dipped by more than 100 points for 2.2 million delinquent student loan borrowers, and 150 points or more for more than 1 million in the first three months of 2025, according to an analysis by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It’s the kind of credit score drop that follows a personal bankruptcy filing. Roughly 2.4 million of those Americans previously had favorable credit scores and would have qualified for car loans, mortgages or credit cards before these delinquencies were reported, researchers said.”
RACE-BASED POLICY HAS LONG BEEN UNPOPULAR EXCEPT AMONG THE ELITES: Survey highlights most parents oppose race-based scholarships.
UNEXPECTEDLY: Despite decades of Democrat health initiatives, Americans are sicker than ever.
Another failed Democrat health program: former President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act or Obamacare. It aimed to expand healthcare access, reduce costs, and improve care quality through insurance mandates, exchanges, and Medicaid expansion.
The truth and the outcome are vastly different than its intended purpose. While it insured 20 million more people, premiums and deductibles soared.
The average family premium exploded 61% from 2010 to 2020, and as a result, bureaucracy ballooned. Rural hospital closures spiked (138 since 2010), and some argue it entrenched a profit-driven system rather than addressing root inefficiencies. As premium prices rose, coverage quality declined l.
In February 2010, former First Lady Michelle Obama launched “Let’s Move,” a public health initiative aimed at reducing childhood obesity, and promoting healthy lifestyles among children in the United States.
In the midst of a growing obesity pandemic, it sought to encourage healthier eating habits through school lunch programs, increase physical activity and provide better access for nutritious foods.
The reality is that obesity rates haven’t demonstrably changed: 42% of U.S. adults were obese in 2020, up from 30% in 2000. The “Let’s Move” program often focused and implemented change on individual behavior while ignoring structural issues like food desserts, subsidy-driven cheap junk food, and sedentary environments.
The Healthy Lunchbox Campaign in California backfired when free lunch bags were found to contain lead, exposing kids to health risks.
Government-run health care is about as reliable as government-run anything else, but not quite.

IT IS UNWISE TO EMBARRASS LITTLE ROCKET MAN: North Korea detains 3 shipyard officials over the failed launch of a naval destroyer. “North Korea authorities have detained three shipyard officials over the recent failed launch of a naval destroyer, an incident that leader Kim Jong Un said was caused by criminal negligence, state media said Sunday.”
HIGHER EDUCATION’S DILEMMA:
There is an extraordinary "reproducibility crisis" in the sciences, particularly in biology, where most published papers fail to replicate.
Most universities have massive bureaucracies that inhibit the translation of basic research into commercial adoption.
The voting…

THOUGHTS FROM DON SURBER: Memorial Day, 2025.
ANALYSIS: TRUE. Netanyahu: ‘Free Palestine’ Is Today’s ‘Heil Hitler.’
JUSTICE: Circuit Justice Kagan Never Bothered Calling For A Reply In Trump v. AFGE. “The Circuit Justices do not apply uniform rules when it comes to emergency applications. Justice Jackson, for example, refused to promptly call for a response in Libby v. Fectau, a case where the majority ultimately granted emergency docket relief. I have also been keeping my eye on Trump v. AFGE. On May 9, A federal district court issued a TRO against the Trump Administration to block the removal of certain employees. On May 16, the Solicitor General applied for an emergency stay with Circuit Justice Kagan. And Kagan did absolutely nothing. She didn’t even call for a reply.”
Thumb, meet scale?
I DUNNO, MAYBE YOU GUYS SHOULD STOP TOTALLY SUCKING? “The erosion of working-class support — among Black, white and Latino voters alike — has unnerved every ideological wing of the Democratic Party.” “For years, the belief was Democrats have had demographic destiny on our side. Now, the inverse is true.”

ICYMI: YOU WON’T BE WRONG IF YOU UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE POST-WWII POLITICAL ORDER AS A BIPARTISAN EFFORT TO MAKE SURE THE VOTERS DON’T GET WHAT THEY WANT:
Ultimately, almost all the gnashing of teeth can be boiled down to Trump 2.0 being the first GOP admin in 40 years to actually ensure the electorate is represented throughout executive branch. Everything else is noise. https://t.co/T4HbG5YIC7
