KRUISER: Progressive Rag The American Prospect Says Trump Could Learn Something From…Hitler.

Here in the year of our Lord 2025, it is virtually impossible to be too absurd when mocking the American Left. Yes, it has been that way for a while, but it really went off the deep end when the lefties had to pretend that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris had brains. That kind of forced delusion will break anybody.

This is particularly rough on me. Ever since I first stepped on a stage to tell a joke almost 43 years ago, absurdism has been the favored weapon in my comedic arsenal with which to lampoon anyone or anything. For most of my career it wasn’t difficult for me to find a ridiculous way to make fun of people. I was weirder than everyone else back in those days.

Then the world became weirder than I am, especially over in Lefty Land. I haven’t really adjusted to that. As most of you can imagine, being normal — or more normal than half the country, anyway — is off-brand for me. I can’t say that I’m a fan.

For lefties, Trump is Literally Hitler™ except when “Hitler is kinda good, ackshully.”

IT BEGINS: “Under-Reported Trump Order Has Sweeping Implications For DEI At Universities.

It gets worse for the woke.

Trump’s new order includes this:

A term requiring the contractual counterparty or grant recipient to agree that its compliance in all respects with all applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws is material to the government’s payment decisions for purposes of section 3729(b)(4) of title 31, United States Code.

Want to guess what that referenced Code section is?

It’s the False Claims Act – the whistleblower law that allows private citizens to file what are called qui tam actions. That provision in Trump’s new order is specifically intended to make it easier to win whistleblower actions under the False Claims Act. In other words, if a university or other party falsely signs the certification that they have no DEI policies, private parties like their employees can blow the whistle, perhaps getting a cash award. Treble damages are among the possible consequences for False Claims Act violations.

Many major law firms have posted warnings for their clients about the new Trump order and the potential for whistleblower complaints, such as here.

However, the regular press and general public have yet to catch up on how drastically the law has turned against DEI.

LET’S SEE IF THE PA LIVES UP TO IT: In major win for Trump, PA’s Abbas signs decree ending ‘pay-to-slay’ system. “Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas signed a decree on Monday canceling legislation that conditioned welfare payments to Palestinian security prisoners on the length of their sentences in Israeli jails, in addition to providing stipends to the families of terrorists killed while carrying out attacks.”

Update: That didn’t take very long.

SAY WHAT??? If you hail from below the Mason-Dixon, you likely know that phrase is a tipoff that something somebody said doesn’t add up. It was also my response when first I heard of a survey that found 65 percent of Trump voters support tax dollars for PBS. Here’s my Epoch Times report on it.

FA, MEET FO:

More like this, please.

HOWEVER MUCH YOU DESPISE THE MEDIA, IT IS NOT ENOUGH:

I just listened to Kara Swisher on the Ezra Klein show.

I now have much better insight as to why Silicon Valley has sifted to the right.

Her entire “analysis” is petty and personal insults about the men she covers. Contempt just absolutely drips off her tongue in every sentence.

To Swisher, they’re just scared little boys who want people to love them. They have “little dick energy.” And so on.

Psychologists have a norm that they don’t diagnose people who aren’t their patients. But she has a story for each billionaire whose politics she doesn’t like and knows exactly why they became who they are.

This is the person that the media crowned as perhaps their most prominent “tech reporter.” It’s all psychobabble drivel not held to any kind of evidentiary standards, obviously motivated by pettiness and contempt disguised as journalism.

This would radicalize anyone against the media.

Given the current condition of the dinosaur legacy media, it’s radical to support them. Silicon Valley got “normalized” against the media.

There’s much more from Hanania at the thread.

WHEN YOU FAILED TO NOTICE THAT THE SHOE ALREADY IS ON THE OTHER FOOT:

Democrats wrote the new rules. Trump is just playing by them.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: Force the Democrats to Explain Their DOGE Vapors. “This is a golden opportunity for Republicans in Washington to force their Democratic counterparts to defend their lust for ripping off the citizens of this great land. The Dem-friendly mainstream media certainly isn’t going to press them on it. ‘What are you afraid that DOGE will find?’ should ringing around all over the Capitol.”

TO BE FAIR, THE TARGETS WERE BULL****: Only 5% of countries deliver climate plans for meeting targets under the Paris Agreement. “The nonbinding multinational agreement commits signing nations to limit greenhouse gas emissions to 1.5 degrees celsius of warming above pre-industrial levels. President Donald Trump withdrew the U.S. from the agreement upon taking office last month.”

It’s not exactly cute when world leaders plot to restrict liberty and impede economic growth to fine-tune a relationship between carbon and global temperatures, which we don’t fully understand and might not exist at all.

DATA REPUBLICAN TEACHES HOW TO READ THE DATA: TURNING POINT DOES NOT RECEIVE USAID DOLLARS.

USAID grant money is everywhere. It’s so deeply woven into the nonprofit world that tracing it is like testing $100 bills for cocaine—at a certain scale, every charity has some residue.

That’s why the disclaimer at the top of the website exists:

**”NOTE: Funding is fungible, meaning USAID dollars do not directly flow into these NGOs in a literal sense. Instead, the money moves through multiple layers, with various entities handling and redistributing it.

Rather than focusing solely on individual grants or making definitive statements about how NGOs benefit from USAID, it’s more important to recognize the broader pattern of funding distribution and influence—and to cut through the layers of unaccountability.”**

So, how do you determine if an NGO is truly dependent on USAID money? Context matters.

Let’s go back to the cocaine analogy: Every $100 bill has trace amounts, but a drug dealer’s cash will be covered in it. The same logic applies here.

🔹 Look at the graph on the left. That’s Defending Democracy Together Institute, Bill Kristol’s group. Over half of their funding comes from major grants. That’s a lot of cocaine.

🔹 Now, compare it to Turning Point USA on the right. Their USAID connections are multiple hops away and bottlenecked by the smallest possible intermediary grants. Even with the most extreme assumptions, only 0.2% of their funding could possibly come from this path.

This isn’t just theory for me. I worked with Charlie Kirk during the 2024 election on early voting analysis. I saw firsthand how his operation worked, and I can say with confidence: President Trump would not have won re-election without him. He flipped voter registrations on their head and made a direct push for young male voters.

I missed this thread over the weekend, but it hasn’t lost any relevance.

Exit quote: “The system is built to entangle everyone, making true accountability impossible.”
