SAVE THE PLANET:
95% of all plastic in the world’s seas and oceans comes from 10 rivers, 2 of which are in Africa and the rest are in Asia. The great lie of modern environmentalism is that anything we do in the West will make a difference as long as Asia and Africa continue to pollute like this. https://t.co/KZOlUMY60H pic.twitter.com/nr966mEgla

HOW TO BUY AN ELECTION WITH OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY:
Surprise! – "They've been using their NGO's to dump fake voter registration forms utilizing the fake SS#'s on key county registrar's offices for the last 5-6 election cycles. GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN: Colorado background checks surge as gun rights restrictions advance.
For years, Colorado residents appear to race to secure new gun purchases during the latter part of the legislative session when majority Democrats are known to rapidly advance their anti-gun agenda.
To date the legislature has introduced 22 bills dealing with gun rights and restrictions in some fashion. Of those, 18 restrict rights, and many are awaiting the governor’s signature; four expanded rights, three of which have lost; and two others are relatively neutral and are awaiting hearings.
The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) is operated by the FBI and used to determine if someone is eligible to own a firearm.
According to data for the first quarter of 2025, background checks nearly doubled in March to 68,099 from what there were in January (37,519), with 42,109 checks ran in February.
Colorado had the 9th highest total of checks ran in March of all 50 states.
Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams said this is nothing new, and in addition to Colorado’s gun purchases going up every year during this time as legislators put more and more restrictions in place, so do concealed carry applications and renewals.
Both scenarios are what drive those background check numbers up.
Gov. Polis yes yet to say whether he’ll sign, veto, or allow to become law without his signature the severely infringe-y Senate Bill 25. The clock is ticking toward the April 13 deadline when the bill would become law without Polis signing.

CHANGE: Free speech surges on college campuses: A Gallup poll of over 2,300 currently enrolled bachelor’s degree students found that the majority believe they are able to speak freely on their campuses. But: “Free speech challenges still remain for pro-Israel and conservative speech.”
THE NEW SPACE RACE: Space nuclear power poised for breakthroughs — if NASA and DoD stay committed.
Space nuclear applications often fall into two primary categories: power generation and propulsion.
For power generation, radioisotope thermoelectric generators convert heat from radioactive decay into electricity. These systems are crucial for missions traveling to deep space where solar power becomes impractical.
On the propulsion side, two primary technologies are advancing:
Nuclear Thermal Propulsion (NTP): This uses a nuclear reactor to heat a propellant (typically liquid hydrogen) which is expelled through a nozzle to generate thrust. These systems offer high thrust levels similar to chemical rockets but with improved efficiency.
Nuclear Electric Propulsion (NEP): This process converts thermal energy from a nuclear reactor into electricity as a way to power electric thrusters. This approach provides lower thrust but exceptional efficiency, making it ideal for sustained acceleration on long-duration missions.
Not quite as good as a constant acceleration drive — but those are even further off than NTP or NEP.
KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: ‘Self-Deport’ Gets My Early Vote for Phrase of the Year. “The lunacy of almost all of the Democrats’ immigration policies is quickly exposed when one attempts to find other countries that do things in a similar fashion. Spoiler alert: you can’t just waltz into another country without so much as a cursory background check and be allowed to work. Next time that an open borders Dem gets in your face, dare them to try it.”
SLOUCHING TOWARD WORLD WAR III: Ukraine says it captured two Chinese nationals fighting in Russian army.
“We have information that there are many more Chinese citizens in the occupier’s units than just two. We are now finding out all the facts,” Zelensky said in a post on Telegram. “I have instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to immediately contact Beijing and find out how China is going to react to this.”
“Russia’s involvement of China in this war in Europe, directly or indirectly, is a clear signal that Putin is going to do anything except end the war. He is looking for ways to continue fighting,” Zelensky said.
It is unclear if the Chinese nationals that Ukraine says it captured are Chinese soldiers or volunteers. Western officials on Tuesday told CNN that they did not see “evidence of state sponsorship” in their cases.
There might be less to this story than the headline suggests — just mercenaries or adventurers rather than PLA troops TDY’d as it were to Ukraine.
BOSTON POLITICS: Could plea deal get Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson deported? “The terms of a plea agreement Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson reached with federal prosecutors raises questions about whether her decision to plead guilty to two public corruption charges could get her deported. . . . Fernandes Anderson, 46, was born in Cape Verde, and at the age of 10, immigrated to Roxbury. She was the first African immigrant, Muslim-American and formerly undocumented immigrant elected to the City Council, in November 2021. The plea agreement states that by pleading guilty to two of the six public corruption charges that were lodged against her in a December 2024 federal indictment, Fernandes Anderson may be at risk of deportation from the United States. . . . Fernandes Anderson said Tuesday that she intends to resign from her $120,000 position on the City Council. The prior indictment states that she carried out a bonus kickback scheme in a City Hall bathroom.”

CHANGE: Trump administration to fine illegal migrants $998 a day unless they self-deport.
“Illegal aliens should use the CBP Home app to self-deport and leave the country now,” Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in an interview with Fox News on Tuesday. “If they don’t, they will face the consequences. This includes a fine of $998 per day for every day that the illegal alien overstayed their final deportation order.”
The administration is using a 1996 law that will allow illegal migrants to be fined if they don’t leave the U.S.
Property can also be seized from illegal migrants who don’t pay the fine.
A flyer was given to Fox News Digital that showed the “benefits” and “consequences” of self-deporting through the CBP app.
Mitt Romney was mocked for suggesting self-deportation in 2012 but change the incentives and it will happen.
KAROL MARKOWICZ: Democrats lit the ‘assassination culture’ fuse — now their silence equals violence.

Democrats routinely call for street violence and refuse to condemn it when it happens because they know it’s effective. Weak losers like Mitt Romney and Amy Barrett get eaten alive by these tactics.
