ACE OF SPADES: Hitpiece Media Goes After Alleged “Sexting” Affair Between RFKJr. and “Star” Political Reporter Olivia Nuzzi.

Here are some articles about this “emotional, digital relationship” which some are calling “an affair” and the Kennedy camp is calling “a set-up” by a “journalist” with sketchy ethics and maybe a Fatal Attraction itch in her pants.

Olivia Nuzzi is a “star” reporter, which means she worked for the unprofessional scandal sheet The Daily Beast. Only in a shithole country would that Animal House* of trashcan Marxists be considered a journalistic outlet which could launch a career.

She then began working for New York magazine. That is itself a Democrat propaganda sheet (and celebrity gossip site) masquerading as “journalism.”

She’s now been suspended for having formed some kind of “personal relationship” with a subject she was covering — RFKJr. — and not informing her bosses about it.

* * * * * * * * *

I don’t know what to think here.

I guess, first of all: Journalists are a mentally-ill, morally rotten lot. They tend to be psychopaths or borderline psychopaths. They routinely deceive people into revealing personal information that they then use to destroy those people. Yes, this is the job, but what kind of psychopath wants that kind of job?

Second, one of these stories reports that New York Magazine knew about this “relationship,” whatever it was, for months. So why reveal it now? Well, you reveal it now to destroy RFKJr., to keep his endorsement from helping Trump.

Third, the affair, or almost-affair, between “reporter” and “source” is common in DC. The entire town is filled with sluts, adulterers, cads, and outright perverts. But the DC press corps refuses to report on this out of “professional courtesy,” and Mutual Assured Destruction.

But they decided to risk the M.A.D. because it was really, really important to them to Get Trump.

95% of all press behavior (and bureaucrat behavior) of the past eight years is explained by this. They keep breaking all rules and violating all codes of ethics — or, here, a prudent group agreement to keep all of their many, many affairs and grotesque sexual deviancies private — because the imperative of stopping Trump is more important than any ethic, rule, or prudent social compact about hiding everyone’s affairs.

THE NYC LOCKDOWN: AN ORGY OF HYPOCRISY.

In one recording, [Dr. Jay Varma – the city’s senior public-health adviser under then-mayor Bill de Blasio] states that right before he helped push through ‘the vaccine mandate’ in NYC in November 2021, he had a ‘wild night’ involving a dance party on a boat and then a rave with 200 other people underneath a bank. ‘Everyone was rolling, we were all taking molly [MDMA] and everybody was so high, and I was so happy because I hadn’t done that in like a year.’

Sadly for some New Yorkers, not all raves are created equal. There were clearly those attended by the likes of Varmar, which were reported on sympathetically by the New York Times. A 2021 article on the ‘thriving’ illegal rave scene quoted a DJ whose SoHo party was shut down, although the police were ‘very kind’ and gave everyone time to leave before issuing any fines.

The NYPD were less lenient towards raves in Queens – where the plebs live. One raid on an illegal rave in 2020 led to four arrests and over a dozen criminal-court-appearance tickets for misdemeanour offences. Other gatherings of the non-privileged classes were treated similarly harshly. In Borough Park, Brooklyn, cops cited five religious institutions for ‘holding services with more than 10 people’. Each violation came with a $15,000 fine.

And let’s not forget about the million New York City children who were made to stay home from school for 18 months. This was due to school closures that the New York Times editorial board were ‘startled’ to find were ‘the most damaging disruption in the history of American education’.

The pandemic was indeed a stressful time – thanks precisely to the likes of Varma, who had clearly had no intention of living by the restrictions he wanted to impose on the rest of us. The lockdown created an orgy of hypocrisy.

Varma’s hypocrisy was too much for his current, now former employer: Ex-NYC COVID czar fired from job after copping to drug-fueled sex parties during pandemic.

“FINISH THE JOB.” Donald Trump Jr.: ‘Why is Kamala’s DOJ Publicizing … a Bounty on My Dad’s Head?’ “We would normally be reluctant to publicize it more, but … well … the toothpaste is already out of the tube, so we might as well talk about it. . . . And we think it is crucial to call this behavior by the Department of Justice out. It is very hard to understand why the DOJ filed this document in open court with no redactions. The best explanation is incredible stupidity. The worst explanation is far, far more sinister.”

At this point, the DOJ has earned this mistrust.

WHAT IS KAMALA HARRIS AFRAID OF?

What, indeed?

IT WOULD BE FUNNY IF IT WEREN’T SAD AND ALARMING:

FINALLY: Scientists Say They Have Created the First Electromagnetic Vortex Cannon.

Vortices are a fairly common phenomenon of nature. They happen when a jet of something creates frictional forces that cause the sides of the surrounding material—whether a gas or liquid—to slow down and curl inward, forming a ring. The propulsive action of jellyfish and squid, for example, can create these types of vortices (and the popular children’s toy known as the “Airzooka” achieves a similar phenomenon).

For nearly 30 years, scientists have theorized that such a vortex should be possible within the realm of electromagnetism. In 1996, R.W. Hellwarth and P. Nouchi theorized that “focused doughnuts” of electromagnetic radiation could be propagated through free space, but had no idea how to trigger such a phenomenon.

Now, scientists from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and the University of Southampton in the U.K. think they’ve solved the riddle. According to a study published last month in the journal Applied Physics Reviews, the team has designed a radially polarized conical horn antenna, otherwise known as an “electromagnetic cannon.”

So, why make an electromagnetic vortex cannon?

To shoot stuff out of it and see how far it will go.

DON’T ALL RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS DO THAT?

Lots of fun in the replies, too.

EVERGREEN: European officials complain about SpaceX some more.

Arianespace CEO Stéphane Israël recently gave an interview to the French publication Les Echos that has been shared by European Spaceflight. It sounds like the once-dominant commercial satellite launch firm, which has been run over by the SpaceX steamroller, is tired of being asked about the SpaceX steamroller. Israël said Europeans should “stop just comparing SpaceX and Elon Musk with Arianespace.”

Why? … His reasoning for this was that SpaceX is not just a launch company but one that controls a broader value chain that includes satellite manufacturing and operation through Starlink. “He competes against the entire space industry on his own,” said Israël. In order to compete with SpaceX, he explained, “the entire European space sector must be united and ambitious.” Israël identified Europe’s planned Iris² satellite constellation as a key project to ensure future competitiveness. “Our hopes rest on the Iris² constellation promoted by the European Commission,” he said. The future of this project, however, appears to be uncertain, especially after the sudden departure of Thierry Breton from the European Commission this week.

The only thing stopping Ariane — or ULA, for that matter — from doing what SpaceX does is a lack of ambition and imagination.

There seems to be plenty of both in China’s rocket industry, however.

YOU MAY NOT BE INTERESTED IN POLITICS, BUT POLITICS IS INTERESTED IN YOU:

US announces it’s sending troops to the Middle East and warns Americans to leave Lebanon.

—The London Daily Mail today.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy visits Scranton ammunition factory to thank workers and ask for more.

—WHYY, Philadelphia’s PBS affiliate, today.

Note how Zelenskyy was conveyed to the States for his contribution to the Harris-Walz campaign:

And it is a campaign contribution for Harris; the London Telegraph reports today that Zelensky has conveyed his thoughts on her opponents to the New Yorker: Zelensky: Trump doesn’t know how to end war and Vance is too radical.

UPDATE:

(Classical allusion in headline.)

WELL, DAMN: Elon Musk’s X gives up fight in Brazil, starts complying with judge’s demands.

X previously refused to suspend dozens of accounts accused of spreading disinformation. Internet service providers have been blocking X under orders from the government since early September, and De Moraes seized $2 million from a Starlink bank account and $1.3 million from an X account to collect on fines issued to X.

X has claimed the orders violate Brazil’s own laws. “Unlike other social media and technology platforms, we will not comply in secret with illegal orders. To our users in Brazil and around the world, X remains committed to protecting your freedom of speech,” the company said in late August.

But in a reversal detailed in a court filing on Friday night, “X’s lawyers said the company had done exactly what Mr. Musk vowed not to: take down accounts that a Brazilian justice ordered removed because the judge said they threatened Brazil’s democracy,” The New York Times reported. “X also complied with the justice’s other demands, including paying fines and naming a new formal representative in the country, the lawyers said.” (X said last month that its previous legal representative in Brazil resigned after de Moraes threatened her with imprisonment.)

According to Reuters, “It was not immediately clear which were the accounts X has been ordered to block, as the probe is confidential.”

Of course it is.

Since the administration chose silence over backing X and free speech, I don’t suppose Musk had much of a choice.

ABUSE OF POWER:

I wonder what threats or promises the Biden people used to get him here?

PLOT TWIST: OLIVIA NUZZI WAS SENDING UNWANTED SULTRY PHOTOS TO RFK JR? “For most of the next 8 months, Kennedy kept her blocked, except for a few occasions when Nuzzi contacted him from different emails and phone numbers, insisting he unblock her for urgent discussions about an imminent hit piece. Once unblocked, she bombarded him with increasingly pornographic photos and videos that he found difficult to resist. After brief exchanges, he would block her again.”

Seems too crazy to be true, but RFK Jr. is reportedly considering a lawsuit against Nuzzi over this.

UPDATE: Changed headline to reflect that it’s not clear if the “increasingly pornographic” photos were nude or just scantily clad, like the one in this NY Post article.

ROGER L SIMON: Trump Finally Correct about Jewish Vote.

It all began during the administration of Barack H. Obama, the man who ignored the brave freedom demonstrators in the streets of Tehran and other Iranian cities in favor of negotiating a useless nuclear deal with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Obama, as an inducement, lifted sanctions on Iran, even added a small fortune—$400 million— under the radar in cash. Two days later he sweetened the deal with another $1.3 billion.

The mullahs were supposed to use this money to help their impoverished people. Obama, who is not an idiot, could not have possibly believed that, but for reasons too depressing to write about went ahead.

Fortunately, Trump was elected in 2016 and reimposed sanctions on Iran and pulled out of the nuclear deal. We all know what happened. No war in the Middle East. Four years of peace. (No Ukraine War either.).

Then, Joe Biden comes in, lifts the sanctions, the mullahs make untold billions on oil and ship the spoils to Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and all those ever-changing terror outfits scattered across Iraq and Syria and we have years of carnage with rapes, kidnappings, endless deaths with no end in sight.

Does that sound too simple, even stupid?

That’s because it is.

What’s not simple is why our administration actually gave the Iranians the money to do this.

Read the whole thing.

BYRON YORK: So many don’t want to know so much about Kamala Harris.

During the Sept. 10 debate with Trump, Harris stirred a lot of curiosity when she revealed she is a gun owner. Many observers didn’t know that and wanted to learn more. What kind of gun? How long has Harris had it? Does she shoot it? Has she ever used it? Neither Harris nor her staff offered any further details. Then, during her town hall with Oprah Winfrey, when Winfrey said she had not known that Harris owned a gun, Harris replied, “If somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot, sorry,” and then broke into laughter. Harris added, “Probably should not have said that, but my staff will deal with that later.”

Then, on Friday, a member of Harris’s staff, campaign spokeswoman Adrienne Elrod, appeared on CNN. Anchor Jim Acosta had some basic questions about the gun. “You are on Kamala Harris’s staff — can you give us some more information?” Acosta said to Elrod. “I’m just curious from a biographical background, what do we know about this firearm that she owns and when did she get it?”

Elrod confirmed that Harris owns a gun and then said, “I can’t really comment more than that” beyond saying that Harris “staunchly supports the Second Amendment.”

After that, I posted that Harris “keeps saying she is a gun owner but won’t say anything about the gun or gun she owns. Her staff won’t, either.” The reaction on X was instant and hostile — and from another journalist. “What f***ing business is it of yours?” said the journalist Keith Olbermann. Then, from the longtime journalist and journalism professor Jeff Jarvis came the comment, “So f***ing what?” And then followed the X observers, who added things like “It’s none of your damn business” and “Who cares? It’s her business.”

The point of all this is to shed some light on Harris’s continuing refusal to reveal precisely where she stands on a number of issues important to voters. Why should she? She has a group of journalists on her side who actively do not want her to answer more questions, do not want her to be transparent on important issues, do not want her to undergo the scrutiny that until now has been routine for major party candidates. They are willing to defend her decision not to talk aggressively. When it comes to where Harris stands, they don’t want to know. And so far, she’s not telling them — or us.

Obama famously wrote in The Audacity of Hope that “I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.” It helped enormously that he was on his first presidential bid, and that he had the showmanship and chops to really sell what Obama biographer David Garrow called “the composite character” that Team Barry had carefully crafted. Kamala has run for the White House once already, and prior to that was a prominent California politician, making her an infinitely better-known quantity politically, and thus her party’s operatives with bylines are forced to play dumb to help get her over the finish line.
