LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL: Bidenflation Sucks Slightly Less Than Expected, Left Dons Party Hats. “The good news is that inflation came in a massive 0.1% under consensus expectations, and the bad news is pretty much everything else. Before we get to ‘pretty much everything else,’ let’s look at the headline numbers that the State Media is using today to assure you that ‘All is well, comrades.'”

CONGRATS: Raspberry Pi is now a public company.
Who would have thought that Raspberry Pi, the maker of the tiny, cheap, single-board computers, would become a public company? Yet, this is exactly what’s happening: Raspberry Pi priced its IPO on the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday morning at £2.80 per share, valuing it at £542 million, or $690 million at today’s exchange rate.
Shortly after that, the company’s shares jumped a nice 32% to £3.70. It means that Raspberry Pi could end up raising more than $200 million during its IPO process.
Retail investors can’t buy Raspberry Pi shares just yet, as only certain institutional shareholders can trade the company’s shares right now. Retail investors will be able to buy and sell shares starting on Friday.

UM…: Massachusetts Bill Would Allow Women to Sell Their Unborn Children.
On June 12, the Massachusetts House is expected to vote on a bill that would allow mothers to exchange their children for money—that is, engage in baby-selling—under the name of “parentage equality.”
The “Parentage Equality” bill seeks to redefine parenthood. Parenthood is recognized on its natural biological basis, or in cases of adoption, justice for a child who has suffered loss by providing them with a safe, loving home. This bill redefines it on the basis of a “person’s intent to be a parent of a child.” In doing so, it strips all mention of mothers and fathers from parentage law, replacing these vital familial roles with gender-erased language.
Finally, and most concerning, under H.4672, Massachusetts would allow for commercial surrogacy both in cases wherein the woman carrying the child is genetically unrelated to the child and in cases where she is exchanging her biological child for money.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: Biden’s Cardboard Cutout Stand-In Makes First Public Appearance. “The lapdog media’s overwhelming attempts to keep the myth of a mentally functional Biden are failing, largely because it’s difficult to sugarcoat the video evidence relating to the man who has the most visible job in the world.”

CRISIS BY DESIGN: Six suspected terrorists with ISIS ties arrested in sting operation in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
Six Russian nationals suspected to have terror ties to ISIS have been arrested in a coordinated sting operation spanning Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia, The Post can exclusively reveal.
Two ICE sources confirmed to The Post they arrested the six people, who hail from Tajikistan, over the last week after the FBI contacted the agency to warn it.
Part of the investigation featured a wiretap which revealed one of the now-arrested individuals was talking about bombs, the sources said.
“Remember the Boston marathon [bombing]? I’m afraid something like that might happen again or worse,” one of the sources told The Post.

THE EV BUBBLE IS DEFLATING: GM trims 2024 EV forecast amid slower-than-expected demand.
GM Chief Financial Officer Paul Jacobson said the company now expects production of its all-electric vehicles to range from 200,000 to 250,000 this year, down from a previously announced range of 200,000 to 300,000. The company has recently said it will produce volume to match demand, which is growing more slowly than had been forecast.
“So at the lower end of that, and I think it reflects the momentum that we have in the business,” Jacobson said Tuesday during a Deutsche Bank investor event.
Jacobson said GM expects EVs to make up 8% of U.S. sales industrywide this year. That’s lower than many other auto analyst forecasts, which expect EVs to represent around 10% of industry sales in 2024.
GM expects its EVs to be profitable on a production, or contribution-margin basis, once it reaches production of 200,000 units. That milestone is still expected in the fourth quarter of this year, he said.
I’m curious to know how much money GM will lose on EVs before they hit that milestone.

Without getting into the deep weeds of the story here are the basics: the Post has new British leadership because owner Jeff Bezos is tired of burning through $100 million a year to prop up left-wing propaganda that nobody reads. The Post staff are not happy about the new editors.”
Bezos needed the WaPo for protection. Now he’s retired and doesn’t need it anymore.
