VIVEK FLIPS THE SCRIPT: Watch: Vivek Puts Media on the Spot With Stunning Questions, Their Response Should Concern Us All.

You can see that they never expected to be questioned like that, how dare anyone question them? And then with just a few things the one female reporter said, you could see how ignorant she was and how that entered into her skewed thoughts. Likely their political leanings enter into why none of them will admit there are problems here.

And it’s concerning when they’re the media who have the supposed job of ferreting out the truth and presenting facts to us — when they don’t seem to know the facts or seem to be interested in the truth.

Does anybody in 2024 still believe that’s the DNC-MSM’s goal?

IS YALE TO BLAME FOR GRADE INFLATION? I blame the Ivy League for all manner of ills, so yes. Assuming things are on the level, though (ha ha, I know), there’s a reasonable argument that highly selective colleges can fill their classes solely with students that they know are capable of doing “A” level work.

More importantly, nobody’s paying 80 grand a year to get “C”s.

THE NEW SPACE RACE: SpaceX targeting February for Starship’s 3rd flight test.

SpaceX Vice President of Customer Operations and Integration Jessica Jensen said the company is already seeking approval for Starship’s third flight. “From a hardware readiness perspective, we are targeting to be ready in January. And then, from an FAA licensing perspective, we’re getting a license for flight three,” Jensen said, referring to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.

Jensen added that SpaceX is currently finishing up making corrective actions requested after Starship’s second flight test, but that the company expects FAA approval for the third flight test to come in February. “We’re expecting that license to come in February. So, it’s looking like like three will occur in February of this year.”

Faster, please.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: Gosh, Whatever Will GOP Voters Do Without Chris Christie? “Christie’s was the worst of the Trump tantrums in this Republican field. He was the first of the failed 2016 candidates to endorse Donald Trump. Christie remained a confidante through 2020. Daddy apparently didn’t give him enough hugs, and the relationship soured.”

WELL, GOOD: British MPs back bill banning Israel boycotts. “A bill preventing public institutions in the U.K. from launching their own boycotts of Israeli goods cleared its latest House of Commons hurdle Wednesday night — but the opposition Labour Party accused ministers of playing games.”

Of course they did. The nastiest antisemitism almost all comes from the Left now.

WE’LL KNOW SOON ENOUGH: Thursday’s inflation report could challenge the market outlook for big Fed rate cuts.

Economists expect that inflation nudged higher in December, a trend that could call into question the market’s eager anticipation that the Federal Reserve will slash interest rates this year.

The consumer price index, a widely followed measure of the costs folks pay for a wide range of goods and services, is projected to have risen 0.2% in the final month of 2023, or 3.2% for the full year, according to Dow Jones.

At a time when the Fed is fighting inflation through tight monetary policy including elevated rates, news that prices are holding at high levels could be enough to disrupt already-fragile markets.

Markets that depended on low-to-zero interest rates to generate returns were never that robust to begin with.
