IN WHICH I FINISH THE DEMI-FISK:  Before the crash 4.

OPEN THREAD: Make me proud.

EPA FAILED TO DISCLOSE $7 BILLION IN SPENDING: The Inspector General (IG) at EPA reports that agency failed to disclose via USASpending.gov more than $7 billion in its expenditures for 2022. USASpending.gov is the landmark government website that makes public most federal expenditures, and all agencies, including EPA, are required to disclose their spending accurately and in a timely fashion.

Having had a part when I was at the Heritage Foundation in the campaign beginning in 2001 to create a website where, in the words of Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), “anybody with a computer and an internet connection” could examine where their tax dollars were going, I have to say the only thing that surprises me here is that similar reports haven’t previously been filed about other federal agencies.

It was Coburn and then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) who sponsored the legislation — the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (FFATA) — that required creation of USASpending.gov. Perhaps the next President will retain somebody like Sheila Weinberg and Truth in Accounting to conduct a massive forensic audit of USASpending.gov to determine how many other federal departments have failed to report their spending fully and accurately.

GET WOKE, GO BROKE:

But wait, there’s more:

Every institution has been corrupted.

UPDATE:

ANOTHER UPDATE: Well, sure.

21ST CENTURY EMPLOYMENT: Some Gen Z job seekers are bringing mom and dad to interviews, and it’s turning off employers, new survey finds. “Thirty-nine percent of the employers who responded said they prefer to hire older job seekers over recent college graduates, in part because young professionals don’t make a good first impression in job interviews. More than half of the employers said young recruits struggled to make eye contact during the interview, and 50% said they asked for unreasonable compensation. Almost half of the employers said a young job candidate showed up in inappropriate attire, and nearly 20% said a recent college grad had brought a parent to a job interview.”

TYLER O’NEIL: Biden Admin Approached Anti-Christian SPLC to ‘Help Shape’ Policies to Counter ‘Domestic Terrorism Threat.’

In the fall of 2021 after President Joe Biden took office, SPLC President Margaret Huang bragged in a donor meeting that many agencies in Biden’s administration had approached the center to craft a domestic terrorism strategy.

“I think there’s no question that we are unparalleled in our abilities to track and monitor the hate and extremist groups in the country, and I can tell you that we’ve had many agencies in the new Biden administration reaching out to solicit our expertise and our knowledge and information to help shape the policies that the new administration is adopting to counter the domestic terrorism threat,” Huang said in a fundraising event video exclusively provided to The Daily Signal by an attendee who wishes to remain anonymous.

This video should send shivers down Americans’ spines.

If what Huang told donors is true, it proves what so many conservatives have suspected—their own government views them as a domestic terror threat.

This isn’t all that new a development for Biden; as the Politico reported in 2011: Sources: Biden likened tea partiers to ‘terrorists.’

And it isn’t that exclusive a hatred among leftists: Former MSNBC Host Chris Matthews: Democrats Need to Vote to Beat ‘Rural People, Their Craziness About the Cult.’
