JEFF DUNETZ: Kamala Says Trump’s Like Hitler. Is He? Or Is Kamala An Idiot?

Yesterday, V.P. Harris compared President Trump to Hitler,  “Donald Trump is out for unchecked power. He wants a military like Adolf Hitler had, who will be loyal to him, not our Constitution. He is unhinged, unstable, and given a second term, there would be no one to stop him from pursuing his worst impulses.”

The V.P.’s comment comparing Trump to Hitler indicates she doesn’t care about minimizing the horrors of the Holocaust or she is an imbecile incapable of understanding.

Her comments were based on a story in the leftist magazine The Atlantic reporting that Trump’s former chief of staff, Gen. John Kelly, called Trump a “fascist” and recalled his admiration for Nazi generals. Kelly also raised concerns about Trump’s recent threats to use the military against “the enemy from within.”

DON’T GET COCKY: New WSJ Poll: Trump Takes Lead Nationally.

Former President Donald Trump has taken a narrow lead over Vice President Kamala Harris with less than two weeks until election day, according to a Wall Street Journal poll published Thursday.

Trump has pulled out in front with a 47-45 lead, a change from the Journal’s polling in August, which had Kamala ahead by two percentage points. The two percentage points are within the poll’s margin of error.

Harris’s favorability and job performance numbers have dropped since August while Trump’s job performance numbers has risen. In August, half of voters viewed her favorably. Now, as of late October, 45 percent view her favorably compared to 53 who view her unfavorably, according to the poll.

Harris is also seeing her worst job performance ratings as vice president since WSJ started asking voters about her performance. Fifty-four percent of voters disapprove of her performance compared to 42 percent who approve.

That must have a difficult headline for someone at the Politico to write.

AMERICA’S NEWSPAPER OF RECORD: Tulsi Gabbard Finally Realizes She’s Far Too Attractive To Be A Democrat.

Attractiveness experts agreed that Gabbard no longer had a place among the “sea of androgynous bags” that make up the Democrat Party. “We’re so glad she finally realizes how gorgeous she is,” said attractiveness expert Bubbs Bronson from Fort Wayne, Indiana. “Easy on the eyes, that’s for sure!”

Gabbard is currently ranked as 43rd best-looking member of the GOP, 21 spots below Thomas Massie, and far from attractive enough to displace someone at the top of the food chain like Ted Cruz. However, sources at Fox News say that she’s more than attractive enough to get a spot at their outlet whenever she retires from politics.

Heh, indeed.™

ARIZONA: What happens when you mail in your early ballot?

After all those steps are completed, the ballots — still in their affidavit envelopes — are taken out of the secure vault at the Runbeck facility to make their way to be tabulated. The ballots are then removed from the envelopes to be inspected and confirmed to be from this election before being tabulated.

Bipartisan teams of two ensure that every ballot and affidavit envelope are separated to ensure that the integrity of a voter’s secret ballot remains intact. If the ballot cannot be read or has an overvote — when a ballot has more votes for a race than is allowed — it is sent to adjudication.

If that happens, a bipartisan team evaluates the ballot to determine what the voter’s intent was, and both members of the team have to agree on the decision.

Finally, those tabulated results are then stored on computer servers that are air-gapped, meaning they have no way to connect to the internet. Those computers are inaccessible except to the highest ranked non-elected election officials until Election Day. These early ballots will be the first set of results released on election night.

Except, it seems, in Maricopa County.

DANIEL GREENFIELD: Every Republican is Hitler.

Mayor Jack Shelley of San Francisco claimed that Goldwater strategists got all their ideas from Mein Kampf.

FDR accused Republican candidate Wendell Willkie of using “Hitler tactics” by repeating his slogans frequently.

In the Iran-Contra trial, Oliver North was accused of “following Adolf Hitler’s official strategy”. What did one have to do with the other? Nothing. But this sort of lazy accusation had become typical and routine. William Shirer, who had also compared Nixon’s bombing of Hanoi to the Holocaust and called Nixon an “apt pupil” of Hitler (Pentagon spokesman Jerry Friedheim was Goebbels), compared Reagan to Hitler for intervening in Grenada. Then Shirer compared Bush I to Hitler for trying to outlaw flag burning.

By the Reagan years, the left had achieved a banality of Hitler analogies. Everything Reagan did was just like Hitler. All of Reagan’s associates were just like Hitler. It was Hitlers all the way down.

Exit quote: “Everyone, to leftists, is Hitler except the Islamic terrorists allied with Hitler who are trying to kill Jews today.”

To today’s leftists those Jews are also Hitler, of course: This year’s Harvard commencement speaker compared Israel to Nazi Germany.

“THE PARTY TOLD YOU TO REJECT THE EVIDENCE OF YOUR EYES AND EARS. IT WAS THEIR FINAL, MOST ESSENTIAL COMMAND.” Look at the screen behind her, and despair.

QUESTION ASKED: General Kelly, If You ‘Knew’ Trump Admired Hitler Why Didn’t You Resign?

General John Kelly worked for Donald Trump for nearly two years. He ran the Department of Homeland Security and soon after became the White House Chief of Staff–a job he did for a year and a half.

During that time, tensions between the general and Trump escalated, and Trump finally forced him out. Technically, he was not “fired,” but for all intents and purposes, he was. Few people actually get “fired” in politics; they “spend more time with their family.”

It has been nearly six years since Trump and Kelly worked together, and during that time, both men have been highly critical of each other. Kelly has also been the source of some of the more scurrilous attacks on the former president. Trump has called Kelly dumb, which seems unlikely but very Trump, and Kelly has said a lot of very nasty things about Trump’s attitude toward the military.

If Kelly had resigned immediately, and gone to the press, he would have become an instant rock star, appearing in wall-to-wall TV coverage of his bombshell accusation. Instead, it becomes one of what will likely be lots of October surprises for the next two weeks.

So what does Trump think of the accusation? If only someone could ask him:

OF COURSE HE DID: Tim Walz Welcomed Chinese Communist Party Officials Into His Nebraska Classroom. “In February 1996, a delegation of three ‘educators’ from southeast China visited Walz’s Alliance High School social studies class ‘to study the education system,’ according to an unearthed Alliance Times-Herald article. However, the delegation included CCP officials who at the time worked for an institute serving a Chinese influence and intelligence agency, according to a DCNF review of Chinese government records.”

GRAY LADY DOWN: Meet the New York Times Source Who Claims Kamala Harris’s Late Mother Told Her That Her Daughter Worked at McDonald’s. She’s a Harris Campaign Surrogate Who’s Visited the White House.

A New York Times report on Sunday that equated skepticism about Vice President Kamala Harris’s claim to have worked at McDonald’s with birtherism was based in large part on a source—a friend of Harris’s—who said that Harris’s late mother told her about the job.

“Donald Trump has claimed without evidence that Ms. Harris never worked at the fast-food chain,” the paper said. “Her campaign and a friend say she did.”

Meet Wanda Kagan, Harris’s high school classmate and longtime girlfriend, whom the Times described as “a close friend of Ms. Harris’s when they attended high school together in Montreal.” Kagan, per the Times, “said that Ms. Harris’s mother, who died in 2009, had told Ms. Kagan about the summer job years ago.”

What the Times did not tell its readers is that Kagan is a full-throated Harris supporter who has appeared alongside the vice president at several campaign events. She also served as a surrogate for her old friend on television during the Democratic National Convention.

“It’s an emotional and chilling ride, and I’m just overwhelmed with happiness for my friend, and I’m happy to be alive to be able to witness her now fighting for the people of America,” Kagan told MSNBC during the Democratic convention in August.

Kagan is the first living person to step forward in the seven weeks since a Free Beacon investigation first raised doubts about Harris’s claim to say that Harris worked at McDonald’s. Kagan’s claim, that she heard about McDonald’s from Harris’s mother, cannot be verified because Harris’s mother is dead. To date, the Harris campaign itself has not produced a single person with firsthand knowledge of Harris’s McDonald’s job, other than Harris herself.

Hey, you know has gone on the record with a story that’s damning to the Harris campaign?

But then, to get back to the Times, as “As Byron York wrote on September 24th of 2008, “Today is a red-letter day for the New York Times. For the first time, the paper has reported in its news section that the Rev. Jeremiah Wright once uttered the phrase ‘God damn America.’” Flashforward to the middle of 2021:

And then to the next year: Almost Two Years after 2020 Election, the New York Times Discovers Hunter Biden Laptop and Corruption Investigations Are Real.

Clearly, this is a paper that takes its story vetting seriously. Or perhaps there’s another reason why its slow-walks news that’s damning to the DNC. Just perhaps.
