TIRED OLD STUNTS: Florida student protests lose momentum as Sasse is voted university president. “About 40 protesters gathered on the University of Florida’s campus Nov. 1 as the UF Board of Trustees interviewed and voted on Senator Ben Sasse. At an Oct. 10 protest, nearly 300 protesters were present.”

A tactic that drags on becomes a drag.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: Kari Lake Is Not Going Gently Into That Good Night. “I honestly don’t think this is a tilting-at-windmills vanity project for Lake. She has a very good legal team. We’re not dealing with the Lin Wood/Sidney Powell “Release the Kraken’ nonsense of 2020. If they think there is something to look at, then there is probably something to look at.”

GARBAGE PLATFORMS FEATURING GARBAGE PEOPLE: Meta/Facebook security guards accessed user accounts and took bribes. “As part of the alleged abuse of the system, Meta says that in some cases workers accepted thousands of dollars in bribes from outside hackers to access user accounts, the people and documents say.”

Draw One In The Dark (The Shifter Series Book 1) by [Sarah A. Hoyt]
Something or someone is killing shape shifters in the small mountain town of Goldport, Colorado.
Kyrie Smith, a server at a local diner, is the last person to solve the mystery. Except of course for the fact that she changes into a panther and that her co-worker, Tom Ormson, who changes into a dragon, thinks he might have killed someone.
Add in a policeman who shape-shifts into a lion, a father who is suffering from remorse about how he raised his son, and a triad of dragon shape shifters on the trail of a magical object known as The Pearl of Heaven and the adventure is bound to get very exciting indeed.
Solving the crime is difficult enough, but so is — for our characters — trusting someone with secrets long-held.

Provided we had even half sane leadership. Looks at the people in charge. Yeah.
