GREENS ARE ENEMIES OF HUMANITY: The “nitrogen war” in Netherlands, an anticipation of times to come.

Farmers in the Netherlands are revolting over the government’s plan to drastically reduce nitrogen emissions by 2030 and is pointing to agriculture and farmers as the worst offenders. But farmers have taken to the streets, blocking roads, and distribution centers, and there has been some serious incidents, including police opening fire on protestors,

It all looks as the “nitrogen war” in the Netherlands is an anticipation of the conflict between environment awareness organizations and agriculture, industry over production systems and its consequences.

“I really understand their anger,” Marcel Crok, a Dutch science writer and co-founder of the Climate Intelligence Foundation, said in an interview. “The farmers are also angry because they say, ‘we are the only sector who get all the blame.’ What about industry? What about the traffic? Maybe we should just ban all the cars in the Netherlands because they also emit nitrogen.”

“This plan as announced in practice means that, in certain areas, farmers have to reduce their nitrogen emissions by 70%,” he continued. “That means they simply have to quit.” . . .

“It is not very rational to curb the Dutch agriculture if you realize that they have the highest production per acre in the world and therefore the environmental load per kilogram food is lower than elsewhere,” Simon Rozendaal, a Dutch journalist and chemists said. “So, in a sense Dutch agriculture is a benefit for climate as well as biodiversity.”

“This will definitely affect ordinary civilians and is part of a global agenda, so everyone around the world, especially Western countries, should be aware that this is something that is not just about the Dutch government. This is part of the ‘2030 agenda,’ this is part of the ‘great reset.’”

Worldwide we need serious accountability for NGOs and “activist groups.” Right now they play with people’s lives and livelihoods, and pay no price for the consequences.

NBC’S ‘LAW AND ORDER’ PAINT PRO-LIFERS AS VIOLENT MURDERERS:

Even though the pro-life movement sets its goal to save lives, the left will stop at nothing to paint pro-lifers as villains.

In Thursday night’s Law & Order episode titled “Battle Lines,” numerous anti-life talking points were emphasized. The episode used a murder case of the daughter of a fictional Texas governor to push the abortion narrative, as well as the murder of an abortion activist to paint pro-lifers as the threats in the abortion debate.

One scene displayed a conversation between the characters Executive Assistant District Attorney Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) and District Attorney Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston).

The pair discussed the incident with Becca Carter, daughter of TX Gov. Carter who was murdered by her brother, Blake Carter. The detectives also discuss the mother, Barbara Carter’s role in the situation.

This is far from new plot point from the venerable NBC series. As the late Kathy Shaidle wrote in 2010, “More abortion doctors have been murdered on ‘Law & Order’ than in real life.”

WILL THEY BE LEARNING TO CODE, OR BUILDING SOLAR PANELS? Impossible Foods to eliminate 6% of staff in second round of layoffs this year:

Bay Area-based food company Impossible Foods announced another round of layoffs this week.

A pioneer in the plant-based meat space, it will eliminate 6% of its staff, amounting to approximately 50 employees, as it seeks to eliminate redundancies and positions “that are no longer aligned with our core business priorities,” CEO Peter McGuinness wrote to employees in a memo, according to Food Navigator.

Headquartered in Redwood City, this is the food tech company’s second round of layoffs this year after 15 people exited in January.

Impossible Foods did not respond to SFGATE’s request for comment as of publication.

NOT THAT MANY ACTUAL PEOPLE SUPPORT THE TRANS CAMPAIGN, IT’S BASICALLY MEDIA-FACILITATED BULLYING: Pennsylvania Teacher Reinstated After District Suspended Him for Not Using Trans Students Preferred Pronouns. “One of the many students who defended the teacher: ‘I don’t think he deserves this and I think that people should have the right to express themselves and have their beliefs and I don’t think he should be suspended because of that.'”

Plus: “Over 400 people attended Wednesday’s school board meeting. . . . The district reinstated Cusato and suspended the policy forcing teachers to use preferred pronouns.” More people for Merrick Garland to call domestic terrorists. But pushback works.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING KABOOM: Another whodunnit. Who blew up a key bridge in Crimea? “The Crimean Bridge, linking the Crimean peninsula to the Russian mainland, suffered an explosion and subsequent fire rendering a few sections of the bridge impassable and cutting off an important supply route to southern Ukraine for the Russian army. The first major twist to the story is the fact that a truck bomb was blamed for the blast rather than a missile strike of some kind. The second twist, much as was the case with the Nord Stream pipelines, is that we’re still not entirely sure who did it.”

OH, TO BE IN ENGLAND: Sadiq Khan’s strange stabbing statement.

What an odd thing Sadiq Khan said following this morning’s stabbings in central London. Shortly before 10 a.m., three people were attacked by a man on a bike in Bishopsgate. The criminal is still at large, according to the Telegraph. This horrifying incident was no surprise to Londoners, so you would think that the Mayor would – from experience – strike the right chord. Instead, Khan had this to say:

“The good news is, it’s not a terror attack. And another piece of good news is the three victims of the stabbing are not in life-threatening situations, thank God. But it’s just a reminder of the dangers of carrying a knife…

Had anyone died this morning, would Khan really have suggested that it was ‘good news’ it wasn’t a terror attack? Just a regular stabbing? It’s not a thought Mr S thinks will be held by the families of those injured.

BUILD BACK BRANDON: Shipping down 75% ahead of Christmas shopping.

Looks like Christmas will suck.

Retailers are bracing themselves for a slowdown. Nike slashed prices 65% because it is overstocked. The company is not alone. The Wall Street Journal reported that the cargo ship traffic will drop 75% this month — ahead of the Christmas shopping season.

The newspaper said, “Ocean carriers are canceling dozens of sailings on the world’s busiest routes during what is normally their peak season, the latest sign of the economic whiplash hitting companies as inflation weighs on global trade and consumer spending.

“The October cancellations are a sharp reversal from just a few months ago, when scarce shipping space pushed freight rates higher and carriers’ profits to record levels. Last October, companies like Walmart Inc. and Home Depot Inc. were chartering their own ships to get around bottlenecks at ports to meet a surge in demand for imports.

‘Christmas dinner in a can’ sales should be brisk this year!
