WHY IS THE NEW YORK TIMES SUCH A CESSPIT OF SEXISM? “Why is it okay to articulate these stereotypes… and what’s so bad about them? Anyone who hopes to be seen as a possible President must be steely and no-nonsense. What’s ‘demeaning’? These adjectives only sound demeaning when attached to the nouns the New York Times writer chose: ‘vixen’ and ‘broad.’ Those terms are used to divide the women into 2 groups based on looks. And Trump is supposed to be the sexist here? The writer is expressing contempt for women if they glam up and if they don’t. And that’s in a column expressing the hope that all the female options are rejected.”

Of course, it’s a female writer, Pamela Paul. Because no one puts down women like other women.

HEH.

OPEN THREAD: Enjoy!

CLIMATE SCIENTIST MICHAEL MANN WINS HIS LAWSUIT, with $1 in compensatory damages from Rand Simberg and Mark Steyn. However, the jury awarded $1000 punitive damages against Simberg, and $1 million against Steyn. D.C. Jury. People on the right need to come up with a similarly reflexively sympathetic jurisdiction.

Rand’s thoughts: “I am pleased that the jury found in my favor on half of the statements at issue in this case, including finding my statement that Professor Mann engaged in data manipulation was not defamation. In over a decade of litigation, the sanctions levied against Professor Mann dwarf the judgment against me.”

DRIVING DYSTOPIA: Driving Dystopia: Europe’s Low Emission Zones Aren’t Going Over Well. “These strictly enforced Ultra Low Emission Zones never resonated with the public. The very first cameras received complaints, as some local residents realized there was almost no way for them to leave their driveway without encountering one. Before long, cameras started being vandalized or destroyed overnight by individuals wearing masks. This was followed by a 66-percent disapproval rate in a referendum asking whether or not citizens wanted to see ULEZ expansion in 2023. Londoners very clearly did not. But the government moved on with the program anyway and created a situation that now literally requires the hiring of armed guards to protect enforcement cameras from damage.”

This is the spirit of resistance the world needs today.
