MORE NUKES IS GOOD NUKES: NRC Issues Construction Permit for TerraPower’s Natrium Advanced Reactor. “This is the first construction permit ever issued by the NRC for a commercial non-light-water power reactor and represents a historic step toward deployment of a new generation of advanced reactors in the United States.’

Faster, please.

ALL THIS AND WORLD WAR II:

DON’T BE SO QUICK TO REPLACE HUMANS WITH AI:

Always, always, always keep a human in the loop.

NICE:

We still weren’t properly prepared for Shahed drones though, even after years of watching the Russo-Ukraine War,

MY X FEED HAS SEEMED MUCH IMPROVED LATELY:

THAT THING THAT NEVER HAPPENS JUST HAPPENED SEVEN MORE TIMES: ICE arrests illegal migrant who allegedly fraudulently voted in seven federal elections. “DHS said Mahady Sacko, who came to the United States illegally from the African country of Mauritania, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and the FBI in Philadelphia. He has been charged with voter fraud.”

DHS using “criminal illegal alien” in its statement is a nice change from the Biden years.

HMM:

I guess if it’s bigger than Operation Grim Beeper, eventually we’ll find out what it was.

IT’S NOT JUST THAT HE’S WRONG AND LIES ALL THE TIME NOW, IT’S THAT HE MAKES NO SENSE:

Your guess is as good as mine as to what happened, but Drunk Republican added, “Either an aneurysm or checks from overseas, I can’t figure out which.”

BATTLESWARM: Iran Strikes Day 10. “Oil spikes then falls, Iran gets a new theoretical Supreme Leader, China’s low cost GPS substitute is just as crappy as their other MilTech, the gulf states are investing in Ukrainian MilTech, and Habitual Linecrosser tries to cut through the fog of war.”

AI: Overusing artificial intelligence can give workers “AI brain fry,” study finds.. “The study found a striking paradox: AI can both reduce burnout and create it. When workers had to constantly supervise multiple AI systems or juggle several tools at once, mental strain increased sharply. By contrast, when workers used AI to actually offload repetitive tasks, their stress levels dropped.”

MEET THE PRESS:

The news was better when reporters were grizzled old guys with drinking problems and well-tuned BS detectors.

THE LEFT DESTROYS EVERYTHING:

ACE OF SPADES: CNN Story Valorizes Islamic Terror Bombers, Then CNN Claims It Was Just a Mistaken Tweet.

CNN’s spokespotato and inveterate liar Brian Stelter is pretending it was only the “tweet” which was egregious. But he’s lying. The tweet just repeated the first sentence “lede” of the story.

The story was later stealth-edited, but people had screencapped it.

At NewsBusters, Curtis Houck adds: CNN TORCHED for Sickening Article Gushing Over Islamists With IEDs ‘Enjoying the City.’ “‘My trajectory always takes a dark turn when I make and carry homemade bombs to a protest to kill people. It’s the darnedest thing. Like, help me out, trajectory,’ tweeted the great Mary Katharine Ham with a heavy dose of sarcasm. Washington Examiner senior writer David Harsanyi had an interesting observation about CNN’s treatment of these alleged terrorists: ‘CNN treating Islamic terrorists better than they did Nick Sandmann’… Like Ham, [NRO’s Charles] Cooke dialed up some sarcasm of his own in a follow-up tweet, parodying how these two might have written an article on 9/11 about the hijackers: “Nineteen Middle Eastern tourists crossed into New York City Tuesday morning for what could’ve been a normal day enjoying the city during abnormally sunny weather . . .”
