DEMOCRATS STILL PARTYING LIKE IT’S 1860: MSNBC Host: “Civil War” is Here With Republicans. Tiffany Cross: “At this point, we need to have serious conversations around preparing for actual violence. People keep saying a Civil War is coming. I would say the Civil War is here.”

WAIT, TEDDY IS GOOD AGAIN?!

● Shot: Move over Abe! ABC’s Karl Compares Liz Cheney to Teddy Roosevelt.

Days after recently ousted anti-Trump Congresswoman Liz Cheney laughably compared herself to former Republican President Abraham Lincoln, ABC’s This Week co-moderator Jonathan Karl took it a step further and compared Cheney to former President Theodore Roosevelt.

Nice to see Teddy back from “Progressive” purgatory, however temporary his reprieve:

● Chaser: Red paint was splashed at the statue of Theodore Roosevelt on the steps of the American Museum of Natural History early Thursday, according to cops.”

● Hangover: Theodore Roosevelt statue removed from American Museum of Natural History.

Of course, the inflation caused by runaway money-printing only makes it worse. As do the new limits on oil-and-gas-drilling and electricity production.

BIDEN WILL PROBABLY JUST IGNORE IT: Judge issues new permanent injunction on Biden oil and gas leasing pause. “A federal judge placed a permanent injunction against President Joe Biden’s pause on federal oil and gas leasing in 13 states, following up on a temporary injunction placed on the Biden order last summer.”

IT’S AS IF MITCH DANIELS HAS BEEN READING MY COLUMNS:

What Lenin would have called the “commanding heights of the economy,” your businesses and places like higher education institutions, have become too detached from the lives and values of a vast number of millions and millions of, I’ll say, average Americans … I’ve got friends of mine who were mortified at the 2016 outcome, people who are passionate members of the Democratic Party who ask me, “How could this happen?” I said, “It’s not complicated. If you look down your nose at someone long enough, one day they will punch you in it.” And I think that’s what happened. I sat there that night — I don’t watch much television — but these national network commentators are talking to each other incredulously. What happened here? Well, these under-educated types, you know, these are non-high school graduates … Disdain is not too strong a word. It was condescending.

THE FINNS I’VE KNOWN WERE SOLID DRINKERS. WHEN DID THEY BECOME A NATION OF PRISSY PANTYWAISTS? Finland asks: Does a prime minister have a right to party?

The old Scandinavian joke was that a Dane will talk to you before he drinks, a Norwegian will talk after he drinks, a Swede will just say “Cheers!” and the Finn will look at the Swede scornfully and say “are we here to drink, or chatter?”
