DISPATCHES FROM THE PARTY OF “IT’S DIFFERENT WHEN WE DO IT:” When Doxers Become the Doxed.

TMZ was shocked that this woman’s “way of thinking is alive and well … and can literally be THE difference-maker,” but it also tells you that there are still members of the Democratic Party who believe in traditional values and probably don’t take well to their radical LGBTQ agenda.

Still, I can’t get over how this woman has gone more than a year since Buttigieg announced his candidacy without knowing he is gay. Does she know that Joe Biden was Barack Obama’s vice president, or was that a shock to her as well?

Heh. This woman could well receive the full CNN doxxing treatment after that video. Unless – and since, as Rick Moran noted today, “It’s Open Season for Conspiracy Mongers After Iowa Caucuses Debacle,” I might as well go back and to the left myself, and ponder if she wasn’t a CNN-style plant, as that video strongly reinforces Buttigieg’s identity politics “lane,” and likely won’t do him much harm among Democratic Party primary voters.

But headlines such as this – “Buttigieg Currently Leads Iowa Caucus Vote; Bernie Sanders Close Second” – gives his team the chance to attempt to control the narrative coming out of Iowa for now. Though as Peter Hasson of the Daily Caller tweets, “Buttigieg wants to abolish the electoral college. Buttigieg also is declaring victory in Iowa based on partial results that show him losing the popular vote to Bernie.”

THIS IS CNN: Asthma patients could slash their carbon footprint by switching to ‘greener’ inhalers.

CNN’s gotta doxx somebody. Apparently, this week, it’s those of us who have asthma.

For those of us who are quite happy with our current inhalers, this seems more like a push from CNN to force doctors into proscribing non-aerosol inhalers, as part of the left’s “ban all the things” mentality.

But if the situation is that grim, why isn’t WarnerMedia, which is owned by AT&T and whose assets include CNN, Turner Broadcasting System, HBO, Warner Brothers movies and DC Comics, voluntarily closing up shop to slash their own carbon footprint? As Glenn likes to say, I’ll believe global warming is a crisis when the people who tell me it’s a crisis act like it’s a crisis themselves.

CNN’S LGBT TOWN HALL COLLAPSES INTO TRANS MADNESS:

As a mild-mannered woman stood to ask a scripted question to Beto O’Rourke (who did not appear as his drag alter-ego Frieda Migrants), a black transgender snatched the microphone and bum-rushed the stage. She introduced herself as Blossom C. Brown and screamed at moderator Don Lemon, accusing him of being an example of ‘how anti-blackness works among people of color.’

‘Black trans women are being killed in this country and CNN you have erased black trans women of color for the last time. Our lives matter!’ she roared. During the nearly two-minute long spectacle, Brown raged against CNN for not giving a microphone to black trans women. ‘Blossom, you’re a black trans woman, you have the mic now,’ Lemon condescended, causing Blossom to fumble, fume, and walk back to her seat.

Unfortunately for Blossom, later in the show CNN already did have a black trans woman scheduled to ask a question. When moderator Nia Henderson introduced the audience member, Shea Diamond, pronouncing the name ‘Shay-a’, Diamond snapped. ‘It’s ‘She-a’! Get that on the record. It’s violence to misgender or alter the name of a trans person. Always get that right first.’ Should Henderson be faulted for thinking, as she read her cue cards, surely, no one was obnoxious enough to have renamed themselves to the phonetic ‘she’s a diamond’? Turns out, someone was.

Consider Beto O’Rourke, who seems to think that the shortest path to the Oval Office is to become a hipster Noam Chomsky. Last night, he said he wants to revoke the tax exempt status of any church that doesn’t perform same-sex marriages:

There can be no reward, no benefit, no tax break, for anyone or any institution, any organization in America that denies the full human rights and the full civil rights of every single one of us. And so, as president, we’re going to make that a priority, and we are going to stop those who are infringing upon the human rights of our fellow Americans.

If I were of a more QAnony bent, I would suspect that O’Rourke is a Russian sleeper agent determined to sow social discord by serving as a right-wing strawman made flesh. Or maybe he’s a kind of strawman golem? If enough liberals say, “Oh come on, that’s not what liberals actually believe!” a straw Beto O’Rourke suddenly comes to life:

“Liberals don’t want to confiscate everyone’s guns!”

[Sproing!] “Hi, I’m Beto O’Rourke. We’re gonna get the guns.”

“Um, why are you standing on my table?”

“No liberal thinks the government should force the Catholic Church or Orthodox Jews or devout Muslims to perform same sex weddings! That’s just a strawman.”

[Sproing] “I’m not straw! I’m a real boy!”

As Stephen Miller tweets, “Stop saying churches. Start saying Mosques.”

Or as leftist journalist Katie Herzog concludes, “The Winner of the LGBTQ Town Hall? Donald Trump.”

PRO-TRUMP MEMESMITH CARPE DONKTUM SAYS BUZZFEED IS THREATENING TO DOX HIM AND HIS FAMILY:

BuzzFeed and its alumni have a long history of this sort of thing, dating back to Andrew Kaczynski ginning up the Twitter mob to get Justine Sacco fired over a botched joke in 2013, and in 2017, now with CNN, doxxing a pro-Trump Twitter meme maker on the fourth of July. The firestorm that Sacco faced and other Twitter shame mobs are a topic of Glenn’s new book, incidentally.

UPDATE: “I have heard back from [BuzzFeed] and they have decided to run the story WITHOUT including my name,” “Carpe Donktum” tweets. “Thank you for making the right decision. My family thanks you as well.”

THE LEFT HAS A FEEVAH, AND IT NEEDS MORE DOXXING: New York Times opinion piece by Kate Cronin-Furman, assistant professor of human rights, University College London, “Everyone Involved in Harming Migrant Kids Should Be Living in Shame:”

The identities of the individual Customs and Border Protection agents who are physically separating children from their families and staffing the detention centers are not undiscoverable. Immigration lawyers have agent names; journalists reporting at the border have names, photos and even videos. These agents’ actions should be publicized, particularly in their home communities.

This is not an argument for doxxing — it’s about exposure of their participation in atrocities to audiences whose opinion they care about. The knowledge, for instance, that when you go to church on Sunday, your entire congregation will have seen you on TV ripping a child out of her father’s arms is a serious social cost to bear. The desire to avoid this kind of social shame may be enough to persuade some agents to quit and may hinder the recruitment of replacements. For those who won’t (or can’t) quit, it may induce them to treat the vulnerable individuals under their control more humanely. In Denmark during World War II, for instance, strong social pressure, including from the churches, contributed to the refusal of the country to comply with Nazi orders to deport its Jewish citizens.

In 2014, the Times published Officer Darren Wilson’s address at the height of the Ferguson riots. And since Trump’s election, CNN and sister network HBO have gone out of their way to be America’s hall monitors.

And then there’s actual violence done by the left: Bernie Bro James T. Hodgkinson, Attempted Assassin Of Steve Scalise, Already Being Erased From History. And additional examples of leftist violence and eliminationist rhetoric at the link.

THIS IS CNN: Gladys Knight gets a standing-O after dropping a mic on Don Lemon’s attempt to shame her for singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LIII:

Watch how [Lemon] tries to scare her by implying she could lose her career. So sick. This is how the left is trying to bully everyone into submitting to their hatred. They will make sure they destroy your career & your livelihood unless you bow down to their divisive ideology.

Who will America’s Hall Monitor doxx next?

NEXT UP ON THE DNC-MSM DOXX LIST: The jurors on the Paul Manafort trial.

The list of media outlets requesting the jurors’ names includes CNN, AP, BuzzFeed, NBC, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.

VERIZON’S HUFFINGTON POST DOXXES WOMAN FOR BEING RETWEETED BY TRUMP:

Okay, let’s talk about decency. Forget namecalling. How about a Verizon owned media group targeting a Twitter user, exposing her full name and location to the terrorists whom she has condemned online because the media group’s reporter doesn’t like the Twitter user.

And, because Trump once retweeted her.

We’re talking about Amy Mek, a prolific Twitter user, who is the subject of a bizarre piece by the Huffington Post’s Luke O’Brien titled, “Trump’s Loudest Anti-Muslim Twitter Troll Is A Shady Vegan Married To An (Ousted) WWE Exec.”

Sub, “@AmyMek anonymously spread hate online for years. She can’t hide anymore.”

So yes, that’s doxxing. And it’s being conducted by a Verizon company. Verizon bought AOL. And AOL bought Arianna Huffington’s cage of trolls and crazies. So the reputational risk is on them.

Luke repeatedly uses the word, “cruel” in his attack on a Twitter user. A more accurate description of “cruelty” would be targeting a Twitter user, making assorted claims about her personal life, getting her husband fired from his job, because he doesn’t like her views.

And naturally, “Soledad O’Brien shares HuffPost dox piece on Trump supporter, calls it ‘worthwhile read.’” O’Brien has nearly 840,000 followers:

Full transparency. This editor cannot and will not defend anything Amy Mek has posted on Twitter.

But watching Soledad O’Brien of ALL people share the HuffPost piece where the Trump supporter and her family were doxxed and harassed with over 800k followers and call it a ‘worthwhile read’ … that’s just damned depressing.

* * * * * * * *

We did read the article.

Which is why we are so disappointed with Soledad for sharing it and calling it worthwhile. We are reminded of when CNN threatened to doxx a man who created a meme of the outlet and Trump … is this what journalism has come to?

Sadly, in 2018, yes. O’Brien is a Time-Warner-CNN-HBO employee after all.

WHAT IS IT WITH TIME-WARNER-CNN-HBO EMPLOYEES AND AIRPORTS? CNN contributor Symone Sanders accused of disorderly conduct at LaGuardia airport:

As for the current incident, there could be more to this story that hasn’t come out yet. So far it doesn’t appear Sanders herself has spoken about it. But if the report is accurate, this is the second time in less than a year Sanders has lost it in an airport. Cursing people out in a line, especially in front of children, seems pretty unhinged.

Yes, but as these things go, perhaps not as unhinged as Lena Dunham threatening to dox airline employees. Last September, she wrote on Instagram that “I’m at the airport. And I think people now know, when I’m at the airport, they have to f—ing watch out for me, because I hear and I see all.”

Charming. When do airports begin to drop their Orwellianly ubiquitous CNN telecscreens?

WRECKED: BEN SHAPIRO DESTROYS CNN’S BRIAN STELTER FOR DENYING MEDIA’S LIBERAL BIAS.

“I don’t want CNN to disappear,” Shapiro exclaimed when explaining why he was tough on the media. “There is a difference between op-ed and journalism. It is why my critique of MSNBC sometimes is a lot less strident, I think, than my critique of CNN. Because CNN purports to be objective and MSNBC really does not purport to be objective in the same way.”

Stelter shot back with a snide retort that Shapiro and his staff should try to get jobs at The New York Times: “If you don’t like the coverage, try to be a part of the solution as opposed to complaining about it.”

With a light-hearted chuckle, Shapiro pointed out that CNN probably wouldn’t hire him and that they probably didn’t have the money to pay for him: “I don’t know, would you hire me? I really doubt that, and not only that, I’m not sure you guys can pay me. I’ll be frank, I make a lot of money.”

Heh, indeed.™ I just hope Stelter didn’t dox Shapiro after losing the debate.
