Cheatham County authorities have charged a gymnastics coach for having an inappropriate relationship with a Harpeth High School student.
Rebecca Lynn Campbell, 20, of Lyles, was charged with solicitation of a minor.
Campbell worked for Spirit Gymnastics in Bon Aqua. The company helps train the Harpeth cheerleaders.
She is accused of sending sexual text messages to a 17-year-old boy, said Lt. Shannon Heflin of the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities also said Campbell allegedly threw a party at her home and served teens alcohol, even though she is under the legal drinking age.
Okay, this is probably stretching even the feminist definition of “rape” a bit far. Though if the genders were reversed, few people would be doing much parsing.

Rachel Respess, 24, of Kenner turned herself over to authorities Wednesday around 10:30 a.m., according to her attorney, Jeffrey Smith. Authorities say she and another teacher had a sexual encounter with a 16-year-old student. Respess was booked on one count of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, one count of indecent behavior, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Smith said.”

Ciera Ross, a 25-year-old mother of two, was arrested and charged with raping a man in Chicago, according to reports.
Ross and a friend, who were driving on the North Side of Chicago, saw a man walking down the 400 block of North Kingsbury, according to Huffington Post.
Ross offered him a ride, which he accepted, before pulling out a revolver and ordering him to move to the back seat of the car. She then forced him to have sex with her companion in the back seat.
The man pleaded for the women to stop after they made him fondle the woman’s breasts and buttocks. The women, however, paid no heed and asked him to take off his clothes and the man complied before Ross’ friend began sexually assaulting him.
The women also took $200, credit cards and phone from the man, before he managed to escape in a taxi cab that passed by slowly, Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Amanda Pillsbury revealed.
The victim apparently ran out of the car wearing only his shirt and the cab driver allowed him to use his cell phone to take a picture of Ross’ license plate and email it to himself.
The victim later identified Ross in a lineup, Pillsbury said.
$75,000 bond? For rape using a firearm? In Chicago?

In an unrelated case, another Swiss Hills teacher remains on leave as a separate investigation continues.”

Recently at Oswego State, a male student headed to the bar on Thursday night with his friends. There, he saw the female teacher assistant for one of the courses he was taking and began to have a friendly conversation with her.
During this time he was belligerently drunk. After spending time talking with his TA, he left for a calzone, only to be followed by the TA and her friend.
“Maybe I was too drunk to tell them where I live,” he said. “Then it became very apparent that she wanted to have sex with me. Her friend was hinting that we were going to have sex, kind of like a wing woman. So we were doing a tour of the house, so she was asking me to take off my clothes, to show off. Her friend showed me the bed where I was going to sleep. Her friend made the bed and I got in it, and then my TA came to the bed and got in it.”
The night left a bad taste in the victim’s mouth. When he woke up, he got his clothes on and she drove him home.
“I could taste cigarettes in my mouth for the rest of the day,” the victim said. He did not attend the following class and slumped in bed for some five days.
I wonder if the university would entertain his complaint, or send him packing in a shameful sexist double standard. Note that this story opens with a male victim, but goes on to talk about self-defense classes for women.

She was charged Thursday with multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. Dufault is accused of having oral sex and intercourse with the students both on school property and in her car on multiple occasions, according to authorities. The victims were 15-year-old boys who were students at Columbia High School, according to authorities.”

The student told investigators she went to Supp’s West Haven home to get help with homework. Instead, her teacher showed her a sexually explicit movie and sexually assaulted her, according to a probable cause statement. On Sept. 3, Supp pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of sexual battery, a third-degree felony.”

(CONT’D): Another day, another case in Bucks County of a boy being sexually molested by a woman. “On Monday, Bethann Lucy Wagner, 26, of Middletown, is alleged to have poured vodka into the mouth of a 13-year-old boy before making her move on him. She’s charged with rape, statutory sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault.”
