YOU’RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER BLOG: Democratic Presidential Clown Car Update for November 25, 2019. “Another debate, Bernie ties Biden, Buttigieg tops the first two states, and billionaire Bloomberg jumps in, only to find himself tied with the guy who just walked across New Hampshire alone.”

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: CNN Determined to Normalize ‘Throuple’ Queen Katie Hill. “That’s right kids, it’s the fault of the ‘right-wing’ that she had an affair with a staffer and left a fair amount of tawdry detritus from her sex life strewn about the place for people to find.”

UPDATE (FROM GLENN): Note the female Democratic privilege. By comparison: Why is WaPo treating Joe Barton like a villain rather than a victim after someone published his nude pic? “Arguably, in fact, this doesn’t even qualify as a sex ‘scandal.’ Barton and his wife were already separated and on their way to divorce when he had this fling with the woman to whom he sent the photo and he did nothing criminal in warning her not to share it publicly. He used laughably poor judgment in sending the photo to begin with but the recipient behaved less morally by violating his confidence than he did in sending it to her. And yet, to read WaPo, you’d think he had wronged her, not vice versa. How come?”

Apparently, only women can be victims of “revenge porn.” And probably only lefty women, if you really want to press the point.

DON’T BE SILLY. NEXT QUESTION? Will Mike Pence Run For President In 2020?

Not worth your click. Just posting as an example of the silliness sensible bloggers must wade through every day.

POT COMMITTED: Schiff says Democrats will press forward despite lack of testimony from key impeachment witnesses.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.) said Sunday that his panel will press ahead with its impeachment report even though key witnesses have not testified, in the latest signal that Democrats are moving swiftly in their probe of President Trump’s alleged efforts to pressure Ukraine.

In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Schiff said the evidence against Trump is “already overwhelming,” although he stopped short of saying whether he would support impeachment himself.

Translation: The evidence is not overwhelming, and polls are trending against impeachment.

WOW: Tesla’s Cybertruck looks weird because otherwise it would break the machines that make it.

As Musk and designer Franz von Holzhausen demonstrated on stage, the Cybertruck is built for abuse. Instead of using stamped aluminum or steel like Tesla’s other cars (and most other vehicles on the road), Tesla is using 30X cold-rolled steel.

Tesla’s Cybertruck design differs from traditional autos because it uses a stainless steel exoskeleton instead of a traditional body-on-frame design. In the traditional design, the car body doesn’t have as much structural integrity and is mainly used for aerodynamic and styling purposes, and to protect occupants from the elements.

In the Cybertruck’s design, the entire vehicle exterior is used as a stressed member, allowing it to do double duty as both the body and the frame. This reduces complexity, and, since Tesla is using ultra-hard steel, increases sturdiness of the vehicle exterior.

This is why the doors were able to resist a sledgehammer swing from von Holzhausen, and were shown to be bulletproof in a demonstration video shown by Tesla during the reveal event.

The problem with this hardened steel exterior is that traditional auto-body stamping machines are made to deal with much smaller, more malleable pieces of sheet metal.

Bodyshops that can work on a Cybertruck will be few and far between.

THE MANDALORIAN: Dear Disney, Ignore the SJWs, Star Wars Is Good Again.

If there’s one thing SJWs love to attack, it’s Disney and Disney related properties. This includes Star Wars, which, thanks to an infusion of social justice, has really sucked lately. Anyone who watches the new sequels starring Rey the Mary Sue and her merry band of social justice list checks knows they’re horribly written, off character entries that have done so badly and angered so many fans that they’re rumored to be taking the product out of executive producer Kathleen Kennedy’s hands and putting them into John Favreau’s.

And that’s the best news any Star Wars fan can ask for given the current predicament because Favreau has already proven he can make excellent Star Wars, seeing as how his show “The Mandalorian,” is so good that it actually has me excited about Star Wars again.

Melissa and I watched the first two episodes with our boys on Sunday night, and everybody agreed The Mandalorian was loads of fun. Maybe not great Star Wars, but very good Star Wars — and after the twin disasters of Solo and The Last Jedi, that’s enough to generate a new hope for the franchise.

But not for next month’s The Rise of Skywalker, which looks just awful.
