DAVID SOLWAY: Leftism Is the True Pandemic. “It is a political disease for which we have many names—progressivism, Wokeism, Agenda 2030, the Great Reset, etc.—but they are all subsumed under the aegis of the Left, which approaches in stages or ‘waves.’”
EVERYTHING IS GOING SWIMMINGLY: DC COVID Policies Leave Hundreds of Students Without Clean Drinking Water.
TYRANNY: Mark Levin Shares Evidence of Biden Administration Colluding to Silence America’s Parents. “In light of the Attorney General’s Memorandum of October 4, 2021, it appears the Department of Justice is committing the full weight of its federal law enforcement resources to prevent parents from exercising constitutionally-protected rights and privileges, for inappropriate partisan purposes.”
KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: Comrade Biden’s Soviet Dreams Are Coming True Too Quickly. “It’s getting creepier by the minute out there and the sad thing is that so many formerly free Americans are all too willing to go along with it. The radicals from the 1960s who wanted all of the freedoms became jackbooted thug teachers who indoctrinated a generation to be not just obedient to a heavy-handed government, but thrilled with it as well.”

#RESIST (COLORADO EDITION): Government Keeps Trying To Censor This Brewery. The Owner Isn’t Having It.
Jim Caruso, CEO of Flying Dog Brewery, calls his business a “First Amendment brewery.” That’s because he keeps going to court to defend beer labels.
It started in 1995, when Colorado’s Liquor Commission objected to the label, “Good Beer, No Shit.”
Bureaucrats told him, “Pull the beer from the market, or we suspend your license,” he says in my new video. That could have put him out of business.
I tell Caruso, “I’m glad we get to say ‘shit’ in this interview, but I can see why the regulators didn’t want the word.”
“Want free speech?” Caruso responds. “You have to respect that in others.”
After four years of litigation, Colorado’s Supreme Court overruled the liquor commission, ruling that “no shit” is free speech.
Read the whole thing.
By the way, it is good beer. No shit.
KRUISER: Getting the Big-Tech Boot Off Our Throats. “I’m not one given to being overwrought about much these days but I can tell you this in all seriousness: Big Tech (Facebook, Twitter, Google) isn’t content to simply marginalize conservative new media outlets, it wants to destroy us completely.”

WOEING: NASA Is Losing Patience With Boeing’s Indefinitely Delayed Starliner.
Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner, a spacecraft for transporting astronauts to the International Space Station built under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, is taking shape so slowly that NASA wants to move some novice astronauts assigned to Boeing’s planned flights to competitor SpaceX’s Crew Dragon so that they can get some spaceflight experience, Ars Technica reported Tuesday.
Citing two anonymous sources, Ars Technica’s Eric Berger reported that the changes have yet to be approved by NASA’s Multilateral Crew Operations Panel, the group in charge of flight assignment.
If the changes are happening, the three astronauts originally assigned to Starliner—Nicole Mann, Josh Cassada and Jeanette Epps—will likely fly on the SpaceX’s Crew-5 mission, the company’s fifth operational flight to the ISS, targeted for launch no earlier than August 2022.
Plus: “It’s unclear when Starliner may attempt to launch again, because more than two months later, Boeing still hasn’t figured out what exactly caused those valves to shut abnormally.”
The previous report indicated Boeing was studying whether to remove the valves — a painstaking process — so I guess they’re still studying.

HEH: Why Nothing (Even The Air Force) Can Kill The A-10 Warthog. “The United States Air Force (USAF) has spent almost two-thirds of its existence as an independent service trying to get rid of the A-10, one of its most well-known aircraft. But has the Air Force finally given up? It is odd to think that a fifty-year-old aircraft might have more job security now than at any time in its long history, but it does seem that the Warthog now has a relatively secure space in the USAF fleet.”
OBAMA’S THIRD TERM: Gas Prices Hit 7-Year High.
J. CHRISTIAN ADAMS: The Mob Attacking Trump’s Lawyer Is More Dangerous Than Anything John Eastman Is Accused of Doing. “What is happening to the legal profession is the same thing that is happening everywhere else. An oppressive orthodoxy has taken hold. Fall in line, or suffer consequences to your livelihood. Represent the wrong clients, say the wrong things, think the wrong thoughts, and you will be targeted by a leftist pack of wolves wearing suits or holding endowed faculty chairs.”
JOANNE JACOBS: Stand up to the monomaniacal mob. “Monomaniacs compete for prestige by expanding their one true idea to ever greater areas and competing to be the truest believer, he writes. When enemies are out of reach, they attack ‘innocent people who happen to be nearby.'”
I’m reminded of this gem from Robert Heinlein:
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
Insects are automatons, which is exactly what the Left desires.
BLOOD ON BIDEN’S HANDS: Suicide Bomber Who Murdered 13 Americans Had Just Been Released From Bagram Prison. “More of the wonderful effects of having Joe Biden pretend to be president of the United States were revealed Wednesday, when it came to light that the Islamic State jihadi who murdered 13 American service members and numerous Afghans as well in a suicide bombing at the Kabul airport in August had just been released from prison at Bagram Air Base, the center of American operations in Afghanistan until the U.S. precipitously and irresponsibly abandoned it in July.”
COLORADO: Monopoly utilities, PUC team up against captive ratepayers.
The Public Utilities Commission’s job was (key word there) to fight for the least cost energy while protecting our environment. That mission has been turned on its head. Least cost is the PUC’s very last priority. This suits the greenies and the corporate cronies just fine.
Energy companies, like Xcel, are guaranteed a “rate of return.” That’s guaranteed profit on whatever they do. Anything they do! Thus, their business model is not providing power. It’s building stuff. Any stuff!
Consequently, they love “environmental” mandates.
For every windmill they put up, they get to charge you for building it. And then they get to charge you for the backup generator for when the wind doesn’t blow. And then they get to charge you for the transmission lines from both windmill and the backup generators.
All this while they keep charging you to pay off the mortgage on the coal-fired plant they just turned off.
It’s not a double dip. It’s a triple dip. And the PUC enables it.
We let the Democrats take charge, so we’ll keep getting it gooder and harder.
