HMM: Not a ‘Single Person’ Thinks Biden Will Run Again.

Biden has been reassuring donors that he certainly intends to run again in 2024, but skepticism is running rampant even as panic about the heir-apparent position of Kamala Harris starts to set in. Florida trial lawyer John Morgan, who was a major donor to the Biden campaign in 2020, had this to say: “What is his health going to be in the next three years? All you have to do is look at the mortality tables in America to understand what I’m saying.”

Democrats are openly wondering why a man who didn’t show an overwhelming amount of energy in his 2020 campaign will have the strength to go out on the hustings in the fall of 2024, just shy of his 82nd birthday. Should Dems really believe his assurances about running again?

“I hear this question get asked every day,” a campaign veteran told the WaPo. “No one ever asked that question about Barack Obama. No one ever asked that question about Donald Trump.”

Democrats haven’t had a disgraced incumbent step aside since Johnson in 1968, and they remember all-too-well how that turned out.

Not coincidentally, ’68 was the year the Far Left started gaining control of the party. Those folks almost look like moderates compared to today’s Dem radicals.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: Bill Maher Has Been Weirdly Making a Lot of Sense Lately. “Maher is describing something that we have discussed here before: Democratic elites in Washington seem to have never met any Democrats in flyover country. The disconnect has been there for a long time, but it’s been growing at a much quicker pace since Biden took office. There are times when it seems like they’ve split into two different parties.”

I SUPPOSE THIS WAS INEVITABLE: Mad Studies fights ‘saneism’ on campus. “Colleges aren’t catering to crazy people, argues Aida Alanzi, a psychology and linguistics student at University of Toronto Mississauga. Or, at least, not enough.”

GOOD LORD: Waukesha Authorities Say One in Custody After SUV Plows Into Holiday Parade.

Previously: SUV Drives Through Wisconsin Holiday Parade, Mass Casualties Reported.

More: Suspect in Waukesha ‘mass casualty incident’ identified as career criminal Darrell E. Brooks. “Brooks is a career criminal with multiple priors and was released from jail two days prior to the incident after posting a $1,000 bail for three misdemeanors and two felonies. He has a history of resisting arrest, obstruction, battery, statutory sexual seduction, strangulation and suffocation, property destruction, illegal firearm possession, bail jumping, domestic violence, drug related charges and is a registered sex offender.”

OUCH: Tesla ranks almost dead-last on Consumer Reports reliability list. “Among the concerns Consumer Reports had for the Tesla Model S, X and Y lines, according to CNBC, were issues with ‘heat pumps, air conditioning’ and notoriously, misaligned panels. It’s also worth noting that Tesla’s Model X ranked dead-last among all cars for reliability, scoring a 5 out of 100.”

GULP:

I don’t see how $16.4 billion for four launches will ever happen.

BREAKING: House Passes Massive $1.75T Build Back Better Bill. “The vote was close — 220-213 with a lone Democrat, Jared Golden of Maine, voting against the bill, along with all Republicans present.”

It still has to get through the Senate, where Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema still show no sign of dropping their opposition.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: DeSantis Is Just Mercilessly Toying With Democrats Now. “This should set off another round of libs caterwauling about DeSantis having ‘BLOOD ON HIS HANDZZZZZZZ!’ That’s their boilerplate tantrum every time DeSantis opts for protecting the freedom of the citizens of his state. It matters not that they’ve been wrong each time, they’re not much for memory on that side of the aisle.”
