RED CHINA, RIP (MAYBE MUCH SOONER THAN YOU THINK): Nobody knows with certainty how many Chinese men and women have died as a result of Mao Tse Sung’s defeat of Nationalist Chang Kai Shek in 1949 and the subsequent Hell-on-Earth known as the Communist Revolution in Beijing. Credible estimates are of 80 million deaths, but there may well be more.
China has become the Superpower rival of the United States following America winning the Cold War against the Soviet Union. But, terrible irony of all ironies, China was greatly assisted in that emergence by … us. And today, the dying goes on as the Underground Christian church faces deadly persecution, and the Muslim Uyghurs subsist amid concentration camps, unwilling organ donation and forced labor.
But, as Rod Martin makes clear in his column today on Substack on China 77 years later, the Asian giant’s future is anything but good news for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
