SO FLOODING THE STREETS HAS TWO PURPOSES. It shows the government that people are mad. And it’s an implicit threat that all those mad people will do something about it if the government doesn’t change.

Leftist governments in Europe don’t care if people are mad, and they’re not afraid that the people will do anything. Some lamppost hangings may be required if the people are to get the message across.
