UPDATE (FROM GLENN): John Lucas writes: “This federal judge did not block anything or make any ruling on an injunction. The plaintiff requested an injunction and the government then filed an affidavit saying that they did not intend to take any action until December 31. The judge then simply entered a minute order that established a briefing schedule, based upon the government filing. That’s it: no ruling on the merits.”
