I’VE REISSUED THE LAST OF THE PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED DARKSHIP BOOKS: I’m now — barring disaster (can we bar disaster? Please? Just for a year or so?) ready to roll with finishing and releasing new ones, though the one for late this month is not a science fiction but the next entry in the Daring Finds mysteries (A Well Inlaid Death.)  After that we’ll have Hacking the Storm, Fuse’s story. Then the next Shifters (All Hot.) And then Darkship Defiance. Now that we’re empty nesters, and I have a small group of helpers (though still ironing out kinks) might just make it easier to get all the piled up stuff out at last. Barring disaster and knocking on head.

For now there is Darkship Revenge (Yes the second half probably May: Darkship Defiance. I mean the book is a complete arc, but obviously there’s the battle for Eden ahead.) Oh, yeah, and yes, there is a hardcover. Amazon just hasn’t associated it yet.

Darkship Revenge (Darkship Thieves Book 5) by [Sarah A. Hoyt]

The World Can’t Be Made Safe….

But it doesn’t mean Athena Hera Sinistra isn’t ready to try. Flying back to Earth Orbit from her asteroid home, leaving behind unresolved questions and turmoil, Athena becomes a new mother in orbit.

As is perhaps fitting, her daughter is born during battle with an unknown foe.

A battle that ends with Kit – Athena’s husband – missing, and Athena’s ship damaged.

So Athena names her daughter Eris, and goes to war.

What follows is a non-stop fight by a very angry mother, who wishes to make the world(s) safe for her newborn daughter, and other children too.

When the adventure is over, it is just the start of another, where children will be rescued, old tyrants brought to justice, and freedom restored.

If it can be.
