LIST: 8 Great Optics-Ready 9mm Defensive Handguns.
I recently bought the P226 Legion Rx, which is basically an accurized P226 (it has the Sig Master Shop fancy trigger) with the integrated Romeo optic. I had to zero the sight, which took a little time. I started by cowitnessing it to the iron sights but, as the manual warned, that didn’t get it all the way there. You can see below: The bottom “8” was my final group. Top 8 was first, then bullseye, then bottom 9, then bottom 8 at which point I decided the slight pull to the left was probably me. A little more refinement down the line but this is pretty good. (All groups at 7 meters, which is my usual practice distance. Or maybe yards, I’m actually not sure which this range is marked for, not that it matters much.) I was shooting Federal American Eagle target ammo, 124 gr. I didn’t have a shooting rest — or what I’d really prefer for sighting-in, a vise — so this is probably about as good as I can get it, though as I say I’ll make minor adjustments down the line. More than accurate enough, though this is a gun for general shooting not so much a carry/defense gun.
