REVIEW: Review: Blue Force Gear Trauma Kit NOW! Medical Kit. I carry a trauma/bleed control kit in my car, and I’ve had training, but I’ve never done it and I hope to God I never have to use it. When I came upon that awful accident on I-81 last year I ran up to the wreck with it, and I’ve seldom been as relieved as I was to see that a real paramedic had already stopped with a buddy. I talked to him later — he was ex-military and said he knew right away that the guy wasn’t going to make it, but had to try. If I had tried, and I would have, I probably would have worried that my lack of experience contributed to his death.
