FREEZE IN THE DARK, LOSERS: Watching local NYC TV (Pix 11) run a story about some idiot “community activists” opposing a gas pipeline in Rockaway because it might carry “Fracked Gas!” The reason they need it is that the old pipeline can’t supply enough gas to Long Island. But we’re not allowed to do anything new, apparently. As an educational bit of “street theater,” I think pranksters should shut down the existing gas lines during the coldest part of the winter, so that these people can enjoy freedom from even the chance of fracked gas.
