I’D READ STUDIES TO THE EFFECT IT MIGHT BE CHILDHOOD LACK OF EXPOSURE BEFORE: On the Origins of Peanut Allergy. Before 1980, peanut allergy was so rare that the idea of someone dying from it was preposterous. So what changed?
I don’t believe it’s peanut butter, btw. Husband and his family are addicted to it, and none of the kids have peanut allergies. (Mind you, they seem to prefer natural, home blended. Uh.)
