LET’S STOP GIVING ANY POWER TO PEOPLE WITH BIZARRE FOREIGN NAMES:  The confirmation process of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court is an opportunity for the GOP.

What? Yes. It is petty. But unless they were born abroad anyone running around with a foreign name has been raised to look down on the US and its culture. Also, as I told a friend back in the eighties when she announced she was naming her child an African name, so she could finally break from slavery “Oh, so you’re going to name him with the name from the slave-hunting tribes who sold your ancestors into slavery, instead of a name from the culture that freed your ancestors from slavery?”
