And don’t put too much credence into any news, good or bad, from Ukraine right now. The “fog of war” is a real thing, and there’s a lot of disinformation out there, including pics from videogames being passed off as actual photos. That said, a lot of people do seem to think that the Russians are underperforming and the Ukrainians are exceeding expectations, and some of Putin’s actions would seem consistent with that.
