I suspect that the data would show that minorities fail the California bar at a wildly disproportionate rate, and that law schools admit people with LSAT scores that make such failure extremely likely, in order to get tuition revenues and diversity points. Exposing what’s really going on would pressure the California bar to make its passage rates closer to the national average, and interfere with law schools’ revenues and preening.
