OPEN THREAD: Hump Day.

DRAMA: Trump Signs Bill Authorizing Release of Epstein Files: Justice Department has 30 days to make unclassified documents available from its investigation. A friend writes:

In stately homes and boardrooms, there are important men shitting themselves as we speak.

OK, so how many take the plunge or put 9 grams through the gray matter before morning? How many banished, shunned. How many divorces? This will be interesting to watch.

That and of course the spectacular swan-diving demise of assorted lefty icons.

Theoretically should shut the Dems up for a while. (Spoiler, it won’t. Let the victimization begin! All Trump’s fault, of course. That and a high likelihood of concerted media/social media squelching/leaving alone.)

Harder with the Social Media Formerly Known As Twitter back in free speech zone, though.

As horribly divisive and disturbing as the past decade has been, it’s about to get fakking hilarious.
Oh, the sanctimony!

Well, stay tuned.

WORST. HITLER. EVER: Judge Blocks Trump From Power-Washing Office Building Near White House.

UPDATE (FROM GLENN): I posted this from John Lucas earlier on my post about this: “This federal judge did not block anything or make any ruling on an injunction. The plaintiff requested an injunction and the government then filed an affidavit saying that they did not intend to take any action until December 31. The judge then simply entered a minute order that established a briefing schedule, based upon the government filing. That’s it: no ruling on the merits.”

Here at InstaPundit we don’t promise not to make mistakes, only to fix them when we find out.

RED ON RED: Embattled House Republican Faces House Censure From Nancy Mace. “South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace will introduce a resolution Wednesday to censure her fellow GOP colleague, Rep. Cory Mills of Florida, in a high-profile example of Republican infighting on the House floor.”

INSURRECTION:

For a color revolution to work, the government must have little motivated support. I suspect that a “color revolution” in America would be met with mass, violent resistance. I don’t think that possibility even enters their minds. Also, pressure from the American government is one of the things preventing a harsh response to color revolutions. That wouldn’t be operative here.

THE JUDICIARY’S SELF-MARGINALIZATION CONTINUES:

UPDATE (FROM GLENN): John Lucas writes: “This federal judge did not block anything or make any ruling on an injunction. The plaintiff requested an injunction and the government then filed an affidavit saying that they did not intend to take any action until December 31. Here at InstaPundit we don’t promise not to make mistakes, only to fix them when we find out. That said, at this point it was an entirely plausible headline.
