THE CORBYNIZATION OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY CONTINUES APACE: Democrats for Hamas.

The truly multiracial coalition in the US these days isn’t the Democratic party. It’s the anti-Semitic mass movement that takes to the streets of blue-state cities every time Israel defends itself against terrorism.

Israel will no doubt survive the latest barrage of disapproval from people with a bottomless supply of personal pronouns and malicious memes. But this is a problem for American Jews today — and it will be all of America’s problem tomorrow, because the overrunning of the public square by anti-Jewish cranks and conspiracy theorists is a perennial warning sign of social breakdown.

Spend a few minutes in the open sewer that is social media, and you are left in no doubt. The Democratic left has become thoroughly ‘Corbynized’, overtaken by the hard left. Israel, they all say, isn’t defending itself against Islamist rioters within its own borders and Iranian-supplied missiles from Gaza. It’s an illegitimate ‘apartheid’ state, killing Palestinian children for kicks.

AOC and the Squad have gone all-in: AOC, ‘Squad’ members’ anti-Israel comments blasted by lawmakers and pro-Israel groups. Florida Democrat Rep. Ted Deutch said in a tweet: ‘No one should defend Hamas. Ever.’

JUST THINK OF THE MEDIA AS DEMOCRATIC PARTY OPERATIVES WITH BYLINES, AND IT ALL MAKES SENSE: America Declines, Media Obsess Over GOP Squabbles.

This is how you know the “news” today is whatever narrative the Biden-coddling “mainstream” media decide to adopt. They’re never going to sound like Ted Cruz, who says “Biden policies are failing across the board: economically, domestically and abroad.” They’re going to sound like humanoid robots programmed by Jen Psaki.

It’s not even entertaining to imagine how the media would cover these developments if Donald Trump were president. Trump would be blamed for all this, but it’s also safe to assume they would be doing a large chunk of what they’re doing now: obsessing over the dangerous Republican party, championing the protests of Liz Cheney, wallowing in “new” footage of the dreadful January 6 riot.

The media pretend that they exist to moderate our democracy and hold public servants accountable and explain complicated policy matters. Instead, they focus on food fights and clickbait and exacerbating the nastiness of social media.

Curtis Houck of the Media Research Center studied CNN coverage for 12 hours on May 12 and found they spent 151 minutes obsessing over Liz Cheney’s impending ouster and only 55 minutes and change on multiple economic problems mounting in the country. That’s almost a three-to-one disparity.

CHANGE: Sean Parnell launches a critical Senate campaign in Pennsylvania. “The Pennsylvania Senate race is one of the four battleground races that will likely determine the Senate majority after the 2022 midterm elections. The other three are Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina. Arizona and Georgia have two freshman Democrats running, and Pennsylvania and North Carolina are open Republican seats. The field of critical races could grow, but these four states are the top tier for both parties.”

SCIENCE!

Nice excuse, but let’s be honest — we’ve all seen his face, and the mask is a benefit.

UNIVERSITY TRAINING AS INDOCTRINATION: “How Often Do You Think People Make False Accusations” Related to Sexual Misconduct, Discrimination, or Retaliation?.

A correspondent of mine, who is a tenured professor at a prominent public research university, e-mailed me about this item in a mandatory online training that he had to go through:

When he answered “Sometimes,” he got the answer, “Not Quite” / “You might be surprised to learn that false reports aren’t common, and frivolous claims are almost nonexistent. According to a recent study, it is far more likely that troubling behavior will go unreported than that someone will make a false report. Try again.”

He couldn’t proceed until he gave the demanded answer, which is “rarely.”

But the faculty member pushed back: “It looks like the university is indeed going to ask the vendor (EverFi) that created the module to revise the structure of its questions; I’ll report more if I learn more.”
