REVIEW: Beretta APX Carry. Made in Tennessee!

MEANWHILE, OVER AT VODKAPUNDIT: It’s a very special New Year’s edition of Florida Man Friday, in which we don’t cheap out by recapping a bunch of old news items from last year.

Also just up at VodkaPundit: President Hillary Clinton Orders Drone Strike on Terror Mastermind, World Rejoices. “‘This strike was not an escalation; it was the culmination of years of dangerous intelligence work and swift action by our military,’ Clinton White House Press Secretary Jennifer Palmieri told smiling reporters gathered at the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room this morning. Palmieri also noted that this was Clinton’s first drone strike outside the United States since successfully securing the nation’s northern border against ‘shirkers and saboteurs attempting to escape to Canada’.”

That one is just for our VIP members. If you’ve been thinking of becoming a member, the promo code VODKAPUNDIT is still good for a nice little discount.

TRUMP DERANGEMENT PREVENTS MEDIA FROM PRAISING TRUMP FOR IRANIAN TERRORIST SOLEIMANI’S DEMISE:

The Washington Post was not alone. In the wee hours of Friday morning, a New York Times journalist tweeted a video of Soleimani reading poetry “about friends departing & him being left behind.” A former writer at the Intercept, Vice, and Salon compared the killing of Soleimani to the killing of Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Captain America “all in one.”

A CBS report on Friday referred to the Soleimani as both a “revered figure” and a “war hero.”

CBS, huh? Or as Glenn noted earlier:

BOTTOM STORY OF THE DAY: Golden Globes will serve plant-based meal at awards ceremony.

Guests will be served a 100% plant-based meal just ahead of showtime Sunday. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association said Thursday that it wants the initiative to raise environmental awareness about food consumption and waste.

“If there’s a way we can, not change the world, but save the planet, maybe we can get the Golden Globes to send a signal and draw attention to the issue about climate change,” HFPA president Lorenzo Soria said. “The food we eat, the way we grow the food we eat, the way we dispose of the food is one of the large contributors to the climate crisis.”

If there’s an issue that the public needs to increase their awareness on, it’s definitely “climate change.” It’s awesome to see that Hollywood is stepping up on the one topic that the news media has completely avoided covering in recent years.
