MEET THE B-17 OF BUGS: It’s the Bombardier Beetle and it has a swiveling “turret” of two rapid-fire machine “guns” like the famous Fortress of WWII. That turret also has something to say about Intelligent Design. I’m looking forward to the appearance of G model, with the chin turret!

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: Philly Riot Thugs Make Final Push for Trump’s Reelection. “This is the choice we face as a country going forward. Do we want the party that has a very casual relationship with violent mobs to be in charge of everything or would we prefer some adults in the room? The Democrats have been so supportive of the violence since May that there is no reason to believe it will end even if they win everything next week. Rioting has become their modus operandi now.”

DID THE ECONOMIST AID A CHINESE COMMUNIST INFLUENCE OPERATION?:

On Oct. 26, the Washington Free Beacon published a hard-hitting investigative article exposing a truly appalling and destructive example of communist China’s long-term war on free societies, in this case using influence and information as weapons.

The Free Beacon detailed The Economist magazine’s years of “sympathetic” coverage of China’s Huawei Technologies company. Then the report connected information to a kind of influence by documenting the magazine’s profitable business relationship with the notorious corporate giant. The Free Beacon noted The Economist did not acknowledge that economic relationship for nearly a decade.

THE NYT LOSES ITS MIND OVER THE BARRETT APPOINTMENT:

SO THAT’S THE REASON CUOMO IS SO ANGRY AT THE JEWISH COMMUNITIES WHO REFUSED TO LET HIM KILL THEIR ELDERLY:  Hospitals gave Gov. Andrew Cuomo a campaign booster shot: Devine.

You know, I always said that the left is greedy for power, which more dangerous than being greedy for money. I was wrong. They’re ALSO greedy for money.

HMM: Mark Zuckerberg calls for changes to Section 230.

For years, Facebook has been one of the primary defenders of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, arguing that its erosion would curtail free expression online and make it harder for the social media giant to police misinformation, hate speech, calls to violence and more.

But now, Mark Zuckerberg says he thinks it’s time to change the law. “I believe Congress should update the law to make sure it’s working as intended,” Zuckerberg will say at a Senate hearing on Wednesday, according to prepared testimony obtained by Protocol on Tuesday. “We support the ideas around transparency and industry collaboration that are being discussed in some of the current bipartisan proposals, and I look forward to a meaningful dialogue about how we might update the law to deal with the problems we face today.”

Easy call: Whatever regulation Zuckerberg proposes or gets behind will have a “pull up the ladder behind him” effect against smaller competitors.

AGAIN: The Hunter Biden Scandal Has Exposed The Corporate Press’s Corruption And Condescension. “The idea is to disparage the source of the information rather than grapple with what the information reveals. This of course has been the media’s posture toward the Post’s reporting from the outset: pay no mind to the laptop or the emails, uniformly referred to as ‘documents of questionable provenance,’ because it all came from Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon, and they aren’t trustworthy. Real journalists, you see, only investigate and report on information that’s verified and trustworthy — you know, like the Steele dossier.”
