On the serious side, take this from someone who almost died of pneumonia at 33, and who has a tendency to catch every possible (and probably some impossible) respiratory virus: if you get a severe case, any respiratory virus will do this. The same as damage to liver and heart. ALL RESPIRATORY VIRUSES HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO DO THIS. Claiming it only for COVID-19 is an attempt at stampeding you. (Took me years to recover from that pneumonia, and for the record, it probably shortened my life. I know it weakened several of my systems permanently, and set my auto-immune on an ever worsening path.)
