HMMM: FBI set to swoop on Jeffrey Epstein pals alleged to have groomed underage girls.

FBI agents are poised to arrest at least four people alleged to have groomed underage girls for Prince Andrew’s paedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein, a legal source said.

But the insider said Andrew was not among the suspects.

One of Epstein’s alleged victims Virginia Giuffre has claimed the financier “trafficked” her to the Duke of York and she had sex with him when she was 17.

The prince, 59, has called the claims “false and without foundation” and said he was “appalled” by Epstein’s alleged crimes.

It was revealed US prosecutors believe they have enough evidence to arrest former aides of the US tycoon, 66.

If it happens, will ABC report on it?

A $45,000 LOAN FOR A $27,000 RIDE: More Borrowers Are Going Underwater on Car Loans.

John Schricker took out a loan to buy a car in 2017. Then he took out another. And then another.

In two years, the 40-year-old electrician signed up for four auto loans, each time trading in the previous car and rolling the unpaid balance into the next loan. He recently bought a $27,000 Jeep Cherokee with a $45,000 loan from Ally Financial Inc.

Consumers, salespeople and lenders are treating cars a lot like houses during the last financial crisis: by piling on debt to such a degree that it often exceeds the car’s value. This phenomenon—referred to as negative equity, or being underwater—can leave car owners trapped.

Don’t worry, I’m sure it will end well, this time.

THERE ARE MAGIC WORDS OF POWER THAT MAY NOT BE SPOKEN BY THE UNCONSECRATED WITHOUT SEVERE PERSONAL CONSEQUENCES: Another ‘N word’-in-context incident costs a university employee her job. “I understand that this was a free speech event […] but her example was upsetting!” Maybe you need to learn how to be upset, child. Honestly, these students are idiots who lack the capacity to be in college, and they’re matched by their administrators.

THIS IS CNN: CNN’s April Ryan Attacks Woman Who Pointed Out Baltimore Garbage Problem, Claims ‘Cummings Never Got Over It.’

In July, Kimberly Klacik, a Baltimore County Republican official, appeared on Fox and detailed the problems of rats and garbage in West Baltimore and called for something to be done to address the problem.

* * * * * * * *

The woman who “created the controversy?” Did she plant the garbage in the district that has plagued the residents forever? Is she really blaming Klacik for actually pointing out the problem?

Not only that. “Cummings never got over the attack on him and the city. It is all because of her.” This is just so wrong. Cummings had cancer, suggesting somehow that his death is related to Klacik pointing out the problem is just vile.

And it wasn’t only April Ryan, her CNN colleague, Brian Stelter, also chimed in.

Unexpectedly.

TWO JERRY BROWNS IN ONE! Gov. Brown vetoed 2016 bill aimed at power line, wildfire safety.

Flash-forward to last Sunday: Trump to Gavin Newsom on California Fires: ‘Get Your Act Together.’ Newsom responded like a snotty teenager, “You don’t believe in climate change. You are excused from this conversation.” Though as Joel Pollak writes at Breitbert.com, “there is no scientific link between the current fires and climate change. Scientists have said that a warmer California could be more susceptible to fire in the future, but recent fires are partly a product of conditions already endemic to California, and wind patterns that have little to do with climate change. One scientist called Jerry Brown’s effort to link wildfires to climate change an example of ‘noble-cause corruption’ — i.e. making incorrect scientific claims in the service of a ‘noble’ cause that most scientists might in fact support politically.”

And then there’s 2015 Jerry Brown versus 1970s Jerry Brown: As Victor Davis Hanson wrote in 2015 during California’s long, largely self-created drought, “Brown and other Democratic leaders will never concede that their own opposition in the 1970s (when California had about half its present population) to the completion of state and federal water projects, along with their more recent allowance of massive water diversions for fish and river enhancement, left no margin for error in a state now home to 40 million people.”

THE UKRAINE SCANDAL SPREADS:

So Obama administration corruption relating to Ukraine may well have extended beyond Burisma’s $3 million bribe to the Biden family. President Trump was entirely correct in wanting this Obama/Biden administration corruption to be investigated, but the Democratic Party press seems to have succeeded, bizarrely, in painting Trump as the villain of the story. Who says the “mainstream” press no longer has any power? The Biden family’s self-enrichment is a great example of the swamp against which Donald Trump ran for office, and America’s reporters and editors, with few exceptions, are swamp members in good standing.

ANDREW DAVIS ON THE Knoxville Mayoral Race. My own take: Indya Kincannon is super-likable, and Eddie Mannis didn’t do enough to distinguish himself from her. In addition, while the Knox County GOP is all-in for County races, they seem anemic about races in the City, even though there are still a lot of GOP voters in the City.

OPEN THREAD: Don’t miss this exciting opportunity!
