OF COURSE SHE DID: ‘Unmasker in Chief’ Samantha Power spewed anti-Trump bias in government emails.
Fired agent Peter Strzok and ex-FBI lawyer Lisa Page are infamous today for texting on FBI phones their anti-Trump sentiments while allegedly having an affair. They played key roles in the now-debunked Russia collusion investigation.
It turns out that Power — the diplomat whose authority inexplicably was used to unmask hundreds of Americans’ names in secret intelligence reports during the 2016 election — engaged in similar Trump-bashing on her official government email, according to documents unearthed by an American Center for Law and Justice lawsuit. The conservative legal group is run by Trump defense attorney Jay Sekulow.
The discovery could add a new dimension — a question of political bias — to a long-running congressional investigation into why Power’s authority was used to unmask hundreds of Americans’ names in secret National Security Agency intercepts during the 2016 election. That practice of unmasking continues to grow today.
Not one more word about that “surprisingly scandal-free” administration.

Have you seen the new Taylor Swift video? She takes a bold, courageous stance in favor of LGBT rights, and against the drooling mobs of orthographically challenged Red State bigots. Taylor and her cool LGBT friends have taken over a trailer park — get it! Ha ha!
See, according to leading pop star Taylor Swift (estimated net worth: $320 million), redneck white people are not only anti-gay, but their religion is stupid, and they can’t spell. Oh, my ribs hurt from laughing, I tell you what.
But seriously: this is what you call “punching down.” There is no easier target in the world for a pop star worth $320 million than anti-gay working-class and rural white Christians. I imagine Taylor Swift thinks herself brave.
Sure, she’s punching down, but she’s also reassuring her Hollywood record label, that “Yes, I was born in Nashville, but I’ve seen the light, and I’m now firmly one of the anointed,” (to borrow from Thomas Sowell’s 1995 book, The Vision of the Anointed). Which was likely especially important to her, since the TDS left was furious about her apolitical stance, prior to her ultimately pyrrhic support of Democrat Phil Bredesen (ironically, one of the very few Democrats who supported Brett Kavanaugh) in last year’s Tennessee Senate race.
Perhaps though, she’s discovering that it’s impossible to be sufficiently woke for today left. Or as this Yahoo headline blares, “Taylor Swift accused of ‘using LGBTQ people as props’ in new music video.”

MUST-WATCH: Dan Crenshaw’s Blistering Questioning Of Google Execs Over Political Bias.
On Wednesday, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) brilliantly grilled Derek Slater, Google Global Director of Information Policy, over revelations from a Project Veritas video of political bias at Google. Crenshaw’s questioning included his anger that according to the Project Veritas video, Google had referred to Daily Wire Editor-in Chief Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson and Dennis Prager as Nazis. Crenshaw snapped, “What kind of education do people at Google have so that they think that religious Jews are Nazis? Three of three of these people had family members killed in the Holocaust, Ben Shapiro is the number one target of the alt-right. And yet you people operate off the premise that he’s a Nazi.”

TAMMY BRUCE: Democrats reinforce the politics of resentment and victimhood.
When gay marriage became the law of the land, that was success from a nation that is constantly working to become more fair and free. Now, we’re being told that’s not enough. There is now a new grievance in the perpetual racist, sexist, homophobic America. We are now to use that as an economic weapon or as another cudgel with which to extort political power and reinforce divisions among us instead of moving forward with our victories.
For the Democratic Party machine, however, there can never be success, there always has to be a new appended wrong or violation, some new campaign to convince you that victimhood will never end, and you must always resent, well, everyone. Including those who may think differently or simply disagree politically. That is the racist, sexist and homophobic position, as they work for their own constituencies believing the lie that they will always be victims and can never become equal willing partners in society. It’s insulting, damaging and limiting.
Americans seeing each other as neighbors, friends and colleagues as opposed to the malicious “other” is to Democrats as water is to the Wicked Witch. The melting of the left is already occurring, and all they have is to appeal to the worst in people.
Indeed.

Ravelry’s ideological bigotry is not just about Trump. They simply cannot countenance anyone in their community who disagrees with them on any political matter. During the 2008 presidential election season and into 2009, I heard from Republican hobbyists whose lively discussion boards were shutdown on Ravelry.

Meanwhile, rabid leftists who promoted misogynist sweaters slamming Sarah Palin as “c—y” went unpunished. A forum titled “What Would You Do To Sarah Palin” inviting liberal members to post physical threats was allowed to thrive. “The problem here is not that the site owners decided that they didn’t want an active, vocal conservative group on their site. That is certainly their right as site owners,” Melissa noted. “The issue is the double standard and the denigration of the reputations of all members of The Bunker and the injury and/or destruction of some members’ businesses. The far-left is not only tolerated on Ravelry, they are nurtured and encouraged. Their bad behavior goes unchallenged.”
This was more than 10 years ago, mind you, long before the latest wave of suppression, shadow-banning, algorithm-rigging, de-platformings, and defamation of right-minded people by Twitter, Facebook and Google/YouTube.
The speech-squelching imperative of the far left is a thread that traces back to the 1960s, when radical philosopher Herbert Marcuse popularized the “repressive tolerance” theory of modern progressives. “Liberating tolerance would mean intolerance against movements from the right and toleration of movements from the left,” Marcuse taught. “Certain things cannot be said, certain ideas cannot be expressed, certain policies cannot be proposed.”
Call it liberal fascism, to coin a phrase.
